Was racially profiled at the restaurant and denied service because I wasn’t white. Was told tables were full and yet half the restaurant was empty. Don’t be black and in Volendam Marina Hotel. Your life will be misery. Edit: This was the restaurant inside next to hotel registration. It was the hotel desk employees themselves that did this. Don't try to lie your way out of taking responsibly for your unjust actions.

We visited many roompots in the past and we found the worst one when it comes to family activitys. We are currently 2 adults 33 and 34 and 2 boys (4 month and 3 years old). We ordered a small house for ourself, they were marked as renovated (maybe 15 years ago) but it wasn't renovated at all. The complete house was dirty and there is mold in the shower (see attached pictures). Currently in October 2021 there are no special family activities possible (not because of Corona just because there is nothing to do in the parc itself). There are some small playgrounds they look very outdated and old, the included swimming pool is currently out of order, also this was not mentioned on the homepage and the woman from the reception told me that it is out of order for a longer period. All in all we will not come back and we will also ask roompot why this one is so different from the other great parcs we visited before ( hof Domburg, Beach Resort, Graaf van Egmond, Texel, Hoek Van Holland(previously Landal parcs)).

I didn't want to do this, but after yesterday's experience, my nerves were already raging. At 8 o'clock in the evening, when I wanted to sleep because I got up almost to work in the morning, a cleaning service ran into our bungalow. they made a noise when they were cleaning, as if they were working on something there. they didn't know the lights were on, and it was cleaner there before they came. We washed the mirrors so that they were better before they arrived. Next, the operator is with us every other day, if not everyone, and he buzzes us for everything. When I came here, I knew the operator was going for checks, but no one told us that often. ved it is the violation of privacy at the highest level.

Very nice and fun park. Everything is nice and clean. Only draw back was that we weren't allowed to laugh with our doors open at night. Apparently the security guard didn't appreciate that. If your family is a little loud, don't go to Marinapark. And it wasn't even 9:00 pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...in this case cheap hotel Hotel is does not match their advertising and was sub-standard. 1. Hotel is not what is pictured in their advertisements. The pictures are of marina co-op townhouses in which you are not allowed to stay. Hotel was not near the water and as far as I know...none of the rooms have marina views (maybe if you lean out your window and look between several buildings). 2. Euro single beds pushed together to look like bigger beds. 3. Desk closes early. They allow you late check-in, but then will leave a strongly worded note the next morning under your door threatening to force you out, if you don't pay immediately. 4. Breakfast does NOT come with the room and is expensive. Restaurant is small and mediocre. 5. Hotel was sub-standard. looks sub-standard on outside and inside. Floors needed a good cleaning too! I travel all over the world. I don't expect the Four Seasons when I pay budget rates, but I at least expect some truthful advertising and a descent room. if actual photos of their hotel rooms were posted no one would stay there, so they post photos of the surrounding town homes. Would NEVER stay here again.

What to say. After 4 months being there and working via Workstead agency. After having the problems with guys in the 109 house. Violent guys full of frustrations and complexes. One of them wasn't "removed" from the house even though this was stated on the "rules". Luckily i was removed from the 109 house to the 105. Second thing to mention is the security, which is below 0. It's not allowed to use any lock or protection on the doors and other. Means everything is unlocked and exposed to anybody in the house when you go somewhere. Enterance doors are only exception. The doors use keycards. Due to this. I was robbed from my own room while i was on work. Over €2.500 (stolen things) are missing from me. My case is on the police of course. Don't go to Marina Park even if you have to and even if it's the last place to end up in the whole Netherlands not only Volendam 👎🏻. I'll make sure (legal)... that anybody responsible pays for the damage which has been done to me.

Odd to have to supply linens..pay 75 Euro for cleaning..but still expected to unload dishes, sweep floors. Lovely location.

Location is nice Lack of privacy neighbours walking over your garden to get to their door ect Cottages are not clean - cleaning really needs to be improved they give a long list of things to be done in order to get deposit back after check out but the place is still dirty so not sure how good the cleaners are. Used period pad under my bed - so cleaners obviously hadn't looked under beds or attempted to sweep/hoover Also lack of security - very noisy guests but after reception closed no one to contact to ask them to speak to guests playing music outside and shouting after 2am. Next day frankly reception couldn't care less.

Lovely location and clean large rooms. We've stayed here 3 times in the last 10 years and nothing has changed, for better or worse. The rooms are still through same, the pictures on the walls are still the same, even most of the furniture. No oven or laundry area, but good kitchen otherwise. Could do with a shower curtain, and books to hold the outside doors open. The staff in the front office are helpful and friendly, but the staff elsewhere around the place were dreadful - very poor customer skills, poor communication and they came across as incompetent.

We stayed in a house overlooking the IJsselmeer. The house itself is luxurious but has its oddities. Child protection is placed in every socket with the exception of those down at ground level. There is a dishwasher but no dishbrush. A large greasy stain is next to the stove. The top flour has a brilliant view of the lake (a shame it was very misty during our stay). Lastly, the park service was very friendly. There is a restaurant on the park but don't expect mind-blowing quality food. It's tasty home cooking quality worth the money. With more attention to details the accommodations would be five stars.

Great, spacious and comfortable accommodation just half and hour by bus from Amsterdam Centraal. Plenty of boats sitting in the marina making quite a view from the apartments, a quiet familiar environment, big parking lot, constant cleaning and security around. Always recommended

It has a great location . It's within walking distance from the old city and boardwalk with shops and great food and it has a bus line to Amsterdam outside ,next to the entrance of the park. The swimming pool is big and warm. The bungalow was clean and very comfortable . U can even use the marine facilities for Landry

Happy with the House, but remember to bring pretty much everything! Soap, towels, or dishwasher-tabs are not or barely provided. The Dirk supermarket has everything you need, but might close too early depending on your arrival time.

Wow... what an amazing weekend at Roompot Marinapark. Really nice service from the employees as well as the surrounding shops. Houses were amazingly accommodating with everything you’d ever need. Definitely doing more weekends here. Thank you Roompot for a nice small vacation🙃
