Great place for little and big kids. We had a group of 2-11 year olds and there was something for everyone. Great to use up most of their energy in the free park and then when they'd tired of that there were lots of paid rides & attractions to keep them entertained. Definitely a great place to spend a few hours if you have kids!

The ambiance of the park is very excellent. It has kids play area, option for kids activities. We can also see birds and animals in this park.

Avoid the petting zoo, my 5 year old daughter was bitten on the leg today by a horse, which was very upsetting for her and left a significant bruise. The staff gave my wife no help or support and didn’t seem to care that their animals attack children. A real shame as it was her favourite park in AMS until then.

Child friendly park with a little zoo inside. Its quite a big park where you will enjoy to walk around. & If you are tired of walking you can also hoop in a train that will ride in every part of the park. Riding a train will give you idea how wide the park is. Lots of rabbits hooping arounds. Quite advisable to visit. Specially on summer time was nice 🙂

It was amazing just how much there was to do here for children! Multiple play areas including slides and a zip line, areas for small children and toddlers to play and areas for bigger kids. We went through to the section with the rides and there was a large variety of things to do, it was dissapointing that a selection of the games didn't work, it swallowed the token then failed to operate and with no staff in the area there was nothing to be done. However, the rides/games which did work were a lot of fun!! The petting zoo was Definitely the highlight!!! Lots of very friendly animals and the birds, ducks, geese etc will walk right up to you. My son very much enjoyed this!! We did have problems with other children roaming free and my son got kicked and pushed a few times. The cafe was Very Very expensive so I'd strongly recommend bringing your own food and drinks. But overall it was a great day out with such a variety of things to do and see and we would definitely come again and would recommend it to others for families with children under 10!!

I really liked the park! many attractions for kids, next to a farm with alpacas, a lot of greenery, quiet and cozy, free parking nearby

This is a park that worth to visit with kids! For free, it is also perfect to use the playground, but the additional attractions worth the money. The small train around the park, the Thomas train, and everything else. We enjoyed it so much with my 3 year old sun, he always wants to go back to The Netherlands, to visit this park, ride the bicycle, and have a lot of fun!

A good place to get away from the stress of the big city. The park is large and there are many secluded places where you can just relax. The play area was a bit stressfully crowded, but my 2 year old son enjoyed it. You pay €1.20 for each attraction and don't have to pay a flat rate of €40 per person like in a normal leisure park. to simply watch the child play. There are plenty of parking spaces and it costs €2.50 per hour. Parking is free on Sundays. A good place to wind down after a few days of Amsterdam vacation. I can recommend it 👍🏻

Nice park for everyone specially kids. Play area needs to be maintained . It has become dirty and old. Need renovation in the play area. The train was closed on the day we went.

It was a great place to go with my 4 year old cousin. Lots of fun mini rides/toy activities to do (it all costs tokens though!). Free petting zoo was very neat to experience, and there are tons of playgrounds littered throughout the park that were great to run around on. Today was also pure market which was full of great foods and even some awesome hand/homemade products

Free parking on weekends! Mostly the rides work with muntjes which are 1 euro each. Huge play area. Will definitely go again (2x 2 year olds & a 4 year old). Amstelpark is also just really nice to walk around. The cafe is not well staffed though so unless you find a better cafe nearby, BYO food/snacks.

My all time favorite park! A mini train gives you a tour of the park, big playgrounds, petting zoo, mini golf, nice pancake restaurant. Great park!

Great park for kids. Very well maintained. Lots of activities along with a mini zoo. Highly recommended!

Quite poorly maintained so it's luck of the draw whether you get something that's going to work when you pay with your muntje. We had a ride-on bike that went so slow that the time ran out after 2 laps of the oval, and a radio controlled boat that would only turn in circles. Waste of money and disappointed kids.

A children paradise!! A perfect play for kids and parents!! The Amstel park is probably the friendliest children's park in Amsterdam. A great atmosphere, plenty of space and great facilities. A perfect play to enjoy the sunny days with the family 😊

great place for kids. Make sure you buy enough tokens:) For 11 EUR you get 10 tokens. Be extra vigilant when there are school groups as the teachers do not supervise the kids very much!

Nice place for kids to play, there is a public playground and a partly semi public playground. Semi meaning entrance to this part is free but the rides are paid. Bathroom/Food/coffee is all available.

Good park for kids upto 8 years (my opinion), Has good coin operated activities, playground and swings and correlated activities too. Very large space to explore/walk/run, couple of restaurants, ice-cream parlour to complete an evening.

Great place for kids. Parents can also sit, relax and enjoy a nice ice cream or burger

My granddaughter had fun. Entrance to the park is free which was great. The rides were not badly prices. 1,20 euro for 1 token. The jungle Jim was free. Next time we go, we will take a picnic basket and spend the day there.

It's nice. You can go for a long walk, relax or go to the petting zoo. Kids love the playground.

Great playground for young children. There's a little train that goes through the park that you have to pay a small fee for. Other than that it's free.

Beautiful park and playground. It's like a mini amusement park! Best thing of all is that it's not mega busy usually. Best park in Amsterdam by far. Forget about the vondelpark, that old rag is not even worth visiting.
