Nice and modern shopping centre on Java Island in Amsterdam. They have a wide selection of shops, including a supermarket but also some specialty stores. You virtually can get everything here. Also it hosts some simple restaurants. Especially recommended if you need something quick. Great parking underneath the complex.

Considering the people living in this area and their incomes, this thing could do with an upgrade. Better/bigger Hema and Kruidvat at least! and not 2 organic chain shops next to eachother. Some of the shops are really dated. Some just sit there without attracting customers.

It's a shame that it's divided between multiple areas, not too many shops but the basic necessities are there.

I used to live on nearby Borneo Eiland, this shopping parade is absolutely brilliant. It consists of all the shops you could want without having to travel to the centre of the city. I particularly love the Jumbo and the nearby fish shop which has great kibbeling. The view along the water on the rear side is nice too.
