Magna
Plaza
is
an
indoor
shopping
centre
located
in
the
former
Amsterdam
Main
Post
Office
and
a
historical
building
just
behind
the
Royal
Palace.
The
the
building
itself
is
an
attraction,
being
a
building
listed
in
Top
100
Dutch
heritage
sites.
Built
in
a
beautiful
mix
of
Neo-Gothic,
Renaissance
and
Dutch
Colonial
Revival
styles.
The
exterior
is
demonstrates
the
use
of
Neo-Gothic
and
Dutch
Colonial
exterior,
with
it's
log
souring
lines
and
gambrel
roof,
beautifully
complemented
with
an
eye-catching
stone
decoration
of
polychromatic
bricks
and
detailed
in
dressed
stone,
The
Magna
Plaza
is
a
lovely
place
to
shop
and
as
you
can
imagine
from
it's
location,
also
an
upper
end
shopping
destination.
The
interiors
are
just
as
beautiful
as
the
exterior,
with
a
central
hall
with
galleries
on
each
floor
surrounded
by
Renaissance
style
arcades
of
polychromic
curved
arches.
The
central
atrium
is
crowned
by
a
sunroof
that
gives
the
who
interior
a
nice
warm
orange
glow.
As
for
the
shopping,
can't
go
wrong
visiting
the
Magna
Plaza.
I
came
here
to
buy
some
gifts
to
take
back
home
and
I
highly
recommend
