Nice place to visit and there are a lot of different options from various vendors. My issue is the portions were fairly small but the price tags were not. Worth a stop in for a snack. Go somewhere else if your hungry.

Nice place to have lunch. Not the same value for money as in Asian foodcourts. It can be busy and it is quiet warm inside. Enough different foodstalls.

It's really nice place to grab some food and drink with friends. I like the vibe of the place.

Great place for a quick bite. Some awesome places to eat in Amsterdam and this is up there. Had Dan Dan noodles was super tasty and the rest of the group had plenty of choice.

Good number of international cuisine but if you’re a tourist looking for something local, this market should be avoided.

A must visit when visiting Amsterdam...it's not necessarily the food being unique, moreso the food hall allows you to choose multiple well made dishes and share especially in a group. Not a bad vendor there and I enjoyed an extended lunch before travelling in the centre of Amsterdam

Lively food court that offers a variety of dishes. Prices are higher as expected. It’s not exactly close to the city center but a nice 30 min walk there can be rewarding in itself.

A nice approach to food with an internal space occupied by many food vendors offering a nice variety of food. We visited for lunch and loved it as we could mix up the food and have it sitting in one place. Both the meatball place and the Oyster bar served great platters and we loved them. Drinks can be ordered on the app by scanning a QR code which was convenient. Must visit if you're in the area.

Great place to visit. Not near the town centre so will need to use public transport to get there. Lots of different types of food to eat from bbq meats to vegetarian spring rolls and desserts. Prices are above average so you can easily spend lots of money here wanting to try all the different food! Not sure if young family friendly, probably better suited for families with older children. Can get busy around lunch and dinner time. Lots of seating available, but some tables are shared with other people. You queue up for the food you want, buy it and then bring it back to your table. You buy drinks from the bar in the middle and clean up your table afterwards. Overall good atmosphere and a nice variety of drinks available from the bar. Worth a visit.

We love Food Hallen it is next to the great Grote Market. We just visited and delighted that they are fully open and very busy. They check vaccination at the entrance and then comes food and drinks. Tons of individual food options from Mexican to American, Italian, French and everything in between. Multiple bars with a variety of beer, wine and cocktail options. Great place for friends and family to hang out and have fun. Do not miss it if you are in Amsterdam.

This food court is huge. It offers a lot of choice for every taste. You can find at Foodhallen starters, meals, desserts and drinks. If you want to taste a bit of everything, the price raises pretty fast. But you won’t be disappointed. Stand’s quality standards are really high. It might be crowed which can lead to a long waiting time. It is hard to find seats to eat as well.

Converted tram warehouse, offering independent, sustainable shops and an outstanding food hall. Wonderful atmosphere, great building. Food choice’s range from around the world. Tables that are shared by all, meaning you can have a conversation with a fellow traveller or local. Would return.

Must go to!! Similar to Eatily or Chelsea Marketplace in NYC where it's really a large, fun, hip food court. Great vibe here, lots of good food options. I wanted to eat at all the places!!! Open pretty late for West Amsterdam so that was good for a later bite. I stayed pretty close to here so I made sure to come, but not that close to Center City or the RLD, but worth it to go beforehand too!!

Beautiful setting and great food choices. A bit outside the center, but once you're there you get rewarded for the long way there. We stayed there for several hours during a layover. Had pizza from Renato's which was heavenly, and little tartlets from the cake spot which were also really good. It's not cheap but in my opinion totally worth it. Great chill setting for a brunch with friends or alone with your laptop.

Nice hotel in a quite street. Near to „Food Hallen“ with MANY small street food style stands. The Hotel is well designed and modern. Room cleaning every 3 days. Breakfast is a kind of expensive. Rooms have not really windows to the outside. Our room - a deluxe double - has a walk in rainshower and a bath tube.

This place was great. Even though many of the stores weren't open on the morning that I went, it was such a relief to my American brain to get inside what felt like a shopping mall, especially during a week in Amsterdam where it poured down rain every single day. It was just a relief to be able to walk around inside without getting wet. And I loved all the different food options. There's also a full store that's just dedicated to things that are designed in Amsterdam and I always love to support local artists and designers no matter what city I visit, so that was very nice.

De Hallen Quarter is a really awesome place day & night. I stayed at the De Hallen Hotel (4⭐️ rated boutique hotel) while in Amsterdam and having great food, and attractions almost literally at your doorstep was amazing. The hotel itself is great, the rooms are exceptionally clean, plenty of space, great amenities and a massive bathroom. The food hall is foodie's dream. Every food stall is totally different, and even though there are 2 bars, they are also very different. 1 is like a specialised cocktail bar & the other more like a casual pub feel. There are also a bunch of specialty stores as well as convention centre spaces, so there would be a rotation of exhibitions and whatnot you may be able to attend. During my stay, there was film/movie/animation exhibition in one hall and also a massive cosmetics sale event in another hall, so there was a lot to see and do without even leaving the space. Which came in handy when the autumn rain was non-stop. Outside, there were street markets stalls selling more food, fresh fruit & veggies and vintage clothes and even basic phone cases, small electronics & batteries & more.

Great food! The way food is delivered and ordered is really innovative! It made things so easy to get without having to leave my table. The music was a little too loud though so I got tired quickly. The speakers sounded a bit worn down from the volume too.

Located next to the Ten Cate Market. Lots of different eateries inside. In the hallway, before entering the restaurant section, you'll find various stalls with vendors selling antiques, books 📚, handmade jewellery, scarves and more. The jewellery stand had some lovely handmade jewellery and so did the stand with scarves. It's a lively place with a nice ambience. Tram to the Kinkerstraat, get out at the Ten Cate Market and you'll see the Hallen entrance almost immediately on your right ✅

12/30/2022 I could easily love this place but we were setup for failure due to the size of our party and the time of night we went. It was packed and there is no queue to get a table so it becomes a game of vultures trying to grab a spot. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. We did return and grabbed a dessert that didn't require a table. Again, could be an awesome place but we didn't really get the proper experience.

Great place to have dinner, drinks and meet friends. It gets busy, but they are checking qr codes, so it gives you some relief in corona times. You can order using your phone by paying small fee

MUST SEE! Come here in the evening for dinner and simply enjoy this magical place. You can take food from different stands and eat on one of the tables with random people, which is super nice: we met a family from Texas and exchanged contacts! Don't miss out!

Fun and lovely Food Market in Amsterdam! It gets super busy around peak meal times so maybe consider this when you visit. There are a lot of choices and the prices are pretty standard for eating out in Amsterdam (prices similar to big cities/ london etc)

Fantastic collection of food stalls, bars and dessert. Plenty of seating, free toilets at the back and great atmosphere.

Huge variety of food selection. Ambience is also very nice. But it is difficult to find a place to sit on a weekend

This was my favourite place to visit in Amsterdam. It was the atmosphere as well as the food that made it really something else. There were a lot of options to choose from. I had Vietnamese street food. The guy serving was incredibly nice and the food was out of this world. This place is a treasure worth finding if you're a tourist looking for something different
