Very crowded. Amazing brands under one roof. Easily accessible for a complete shopping experience. Very organized and well presented. It’s a must visit for everyone who comes through Amsterdam. Hence the increased traffic at the store. So many wonderful brands to select from. Most of the brands are top tier high end brands. Authentic products. Great experience to even walk through the store. The exterior was nicely decorated. Probably getting ready for the x Mas season around the corner. The individual brand corners with their own iconic products are showcased to the road to attract customers. Adds value to the city of Amsterdam.

Beautiful building in the heart of Amsterdam, right next to the Dam square. The right place to go if you want to check the most prestigious brands in the world. There are 5 or 6 floors with hundreds of stores, bistros and a restaurant. Not the cheapest place to go shopping but definitely one of the most elegant in the city

The Restaurant in the Bijenkorf is open again. They have a roof terrace with a great view over the rooftops of Amsterdam. Plus they have excellent coffee.

Worst store ever. Expired makeup products, uneducated staff, tacky selection and 0 management. Sincerely hope they go bankrupt. Save your money and shop local.

It's a good department store where one can find everything from perfume, makeup, clothing, bags, kitchen equipment and restaurant. They're opening up late. During the weekend it can get crowded.

Best place to shop. You have wide range of beauty, apparel products available. The building from outside looks to be only for luxurious people but it caters to the need of every section of people. It would definitely take you around 3-4 hours if you want to do leisure shopping 🛍. Ensure to go by using the public transport, if you go by own transportation, it turns out to be too costly for parking at own expense. If you want to eat anything, you have lot of options right across de’bijenkorf. Enjoy your shopping 🛒

Yes a place to be! I really love shopping here. You can stay and shop for 3 hours have some dinner and enjoy the decoration. The high segmentation is nice but the collection at the other departments are better. For me this is a legacy of my youth.. as little child I loved to shop here as well with my parents and grand parents.

Amazing to go shopping! But, 2 stars less, as I was searching for a specific bag, and no one was able to tell me if they had, or not, so they were just guessing and sending me to different floors. Also... Expensive.

The rarely found place in Amsterdam for luxury shops / brands. Unlike other department store in major European cities, de Bijenkorf is really less people and very good for hunting if you wish any good handbags, shoes and apparel of some Specific brand.

I bought an expensive candle from their online website and when I opened the package, inside the candle box, I found “peperoncino macinato”. I still can’t believe this, I can’t understand how this happened. Moreover, I had to return it myself in order to get a refund and I’m still waiting for it. The only thing I got is a 10€ voucher - I would have expect a little more for such a mistake.

Only famous brands especially at the ground level. Prices are beyond any reasonable limit. I wonder who can pay all this money to buy clothes and shoes. The fifth floor is worth visiting. Beautiful restaurants and coffee shops

We ordered pasion fruit cake and apple cake. They were so delicious, Not too sweet and yet sweetness at it's best. For drink, we ordered fresh mint tea . It was hot, and yet very refreshing and minty soothing which complimented the cakes. Highly recommended. The two ladies were very nice and friendly. Highly recommended after a stroll along Red Light District.

Happy shopping! Especially during the busy holidays! Don’t forget to wait in line 😉 pity my favorite employees had to quit because they refused to be forced into working full-time… they were great and should have been allowed to stay. But in the end it shows that the bottom line is worth more and this reflects bad on the Bijenkorf, which is a pity as it’s one of the better department stores we still have… 🙂

Nice time to go (January) they have sales taking place. Big brands, luxury brands and some high street names on offer. Men's sections seem more interesting than the ladies' On ladies floor, they have an area where they clean and customise trainers. Saw some hilarious wigs on some of the mannequins 🤣

This beautiful cafe hidden on a side street is the perfect way to take time to enjoy the moment. The coffee completely compliments any dessert you wish to partake in. The desserts not only look amazing but like a work of art. You'll be able to lose yourself on holiday in this little artistically created cafe. I hope you enjoy your journey.

We couldn't find what I wanted. I was guided to Customer Services on the 5th floor. A young man there looked up what I wanted , A Royal Delft Moneybox. He took me down and ,with the Manageress of the floor we found it. It was wrapped in their paper with ribbon and put in one of their small bags. BRILLIANT SERVICE !. I have been going to Amsterdam for years , this was the first time in the store. I will go more often and recommend deBijenkorf to everyone.

High class shopping in central Amsterdam at it's finest. All of the luxury brands you would expect, and more. At the top level is a cafe style restaurant where you can relax after or during shopping to have a coffee and a cake or something more. Also a very clean, free bathroom which can sometimes be a life saver.

De Bijenkorf Amsterdam is an iconic and renowned department store in the heart of the city. While I haven't had the opportunity to personally experience it, its reputation and extensive online reviews speak volumes about what it has to offer. This luxurious shopping destination is known for its wide array of high-end products and top-tier brands. From fashion and accessories to cosmetics and home goods, De Bijenkorf is believed to curate an impressive selection for the discerning shopper. The architecture of the building itself is striking, with its historic and ornate design. It stands as a symbol of Amsterdam's vibrant retail culture. One of the most appealing aspects of De Bijenkorf Amsterdam is its location. Situated right on Dam Square, it enjoys a prime spot in the city, making it easily accessible to both locals and tourists. Its central location provides an ideal starting point for exploring Amsterdam's various attractions. While I cannot provide a personal account of the shopping experience, De Bijenkorf Amsterdam seems to offer a blend of luxury, convenience, and style, which likely contributes to its esteemed reputation. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for a sophisticated and memorable shopping adventure in the Dutch capital.

An upscale shopping mall in strategic tourist area, Dam Square, quite near from Amsterdam Centraal. It opens everyday at 10/11am and closes 9pm. Right after entering its door, you can grab a store guide brochure. It has clothing, make up, skin care, accesories from high end brands. Make sure your money or credit card limit enough :)

Besides the fact that it was crowded we still had a nice time here, countless of different products to choose from. On top of that we had a great encounter with one of the staff members at a perfume stand. Very friendly guy!

This place feels like a Dutch classic classy experience. Have not been there for a long time as I used to have lunch very Friday afternoon with my uncle there. Must say they have modernized this shop in a pleasant manner. Still a great place to shop and have some lunch. But I do miss the “Chill-out Room” they had

I've been coming here for years. So for that reason, I must love it! Overall, it's a nice warehouse. 6 levels of shopping and a small food court. Offers many luxurious brands. Also has some inhouse stores. Bijenkorf is great. Always loved how a luxurious warehouse is welcoming to everyone. Hopefully it stays that way

Never order online. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I ordered 3 wallets as a gift and one of the 3 came without the original box . I reached the costumer service and resolution would be returned and pay the cost of the delivery and buy again to have one box which should be there in the first place . Don't waste your money in the Bijenkorf.

Possible Amsterdam's oldest "mall"? It's nice and clean, a typical retail outlet. Would like to try their food court on the 5th floor but it's currently closed due to the pandemic.

A beautiful high end shopping mall with the most well known brands in the assortment. The layering of stores and categories resembles to the KdW (Kaufhaus des Westens) in Berlin. The staff is friendly and the prices are what you except - according to the selected brand. What definitely is worth a try is the apple pie in the restaurant - it is phenomenally delicious!

This store is a definite stop on your bucket list while in Amsterdam. It is the place to go for high end gifts and just something for yourself. The restaurant food selection is to die for so plan your visit when you’re really hungry. Don’t miss it!

I wanted to like this place, but I couldn’t. For one, I think it is a let down compared to the Utrecht location. This has a bigger selection but Utrecht is more curated. It’s also a bit too messy and overcrowded and hard to navigate. It does not compare well to the luxury shopping available in places like London, Paris, or Berlin. Only go here if you know exactly what you want.
