Wow,
what
a
lush
breakfast
we
had
at
Mr.
Stacks
in
Amsterdam
on
Trevor’s
birthday
in
December.
It’s
taken
me
a
while
to
write
this
one
because
it
was
just
so….
deliciously
lush.
First
of
all,
on
Trevor’s
birthday,
he
wanted
to
go
somewhere
that
I
could
also
eat
lush.
Because
most
sweet
things
for
breaky
normally
have
dairy
in
them,
I’m
stuck
having
eggs
(which
as
you
know
is
totally
fine
for
me
as
I
LOVE
eggs).
But,
that
day
was
different,
it
was
a
birthday
day!
So
off
we
went
to
Mr.
Stacks
which
serves
vegan
pancakes.
What
a
sweetheart
right?!
It
was
a
short
trip
on
the
underground
to
De
Pijp,
which
is
actually
one
of
our
favourite
little
neighbourhoods
in
Amsterdam.
It’s
actually
very
lucky
that
we
got
a
table
(we
got
the
last
one).
There
was
a
lineup
at
the
door
to
get
in!
I
would
definitely
suggest
making
a
reservation
if
you
plan
to
head
over
to
Mr.
Stacks.
I
had
the
Choco
Hazelnut
Stack
because
I
never
get
to
have
Nutella
anymore
and
I
miss
it.
(3
pancakes,
choco
chips,
seasonal
fruits,
sweet
coconut
flakes,
bananas,
chocolate
hazelnut
sauce,
roasted
almond
flakes,
fruit
coulis
and
sesame
cotton
candy).
Wow,
just
wow.
All
of
the
tastebuds
in
my
mouth
were
screaming,
WHY
DON’T
YOU
FEED
ME
THIS
ALL
THE
TIME?!
Trevor
had
the
Banana
Breakfast
Stack
(3
pancakes,
caramel
sauce,
pecan
nuts,
homemade
granola,
banana
ginger
jam,
sesame
cotton
candy
and
coconut
yogurt).
He
was
a
happy
birthday
boy.
To
say
we
needed
a
big
walk
and
a
nap
after
this
breakfast
would
be
an
understatement
but
it
was
worth
every
bite.
The
restaurant
is
also
full
of
life.
Plants
everywhere
with
bamboo
decor,
and
amazing
amazon
wallpaper
in
the
washroom,
the
atmosphere
was
great.
We
would
definitely
suggest
you
head
over
to
Mr.
Stacks
the
next
time
you’re
in
Amsterdam!
