I was curious about this restaurant for a year because I lived in Berlin, and there isn't a Wagamama in Germany. So, when I had the opportunity to eat here, I took it and ordered chicken katsu curry rice for €20. The rice was in perfect condition, the curry was thick, the veggies were fresh, and the katsu chicken was cooked perfectly. The service was nice and great, and the atmosphere was cozy and peaceful. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a dinner spot in Amsterdam.

Great place if you want a quick bite. The service is friendly and fast, maybe too fast with cleaning the tables… great range of food options and big portions but the taste is average (needed more seasoning in my opinion), nothing special. The interior is okay but please do something about the high bar chairs. It’s uncomfortable after some time and not really convenient when you have a wintercoat or bags. Overall it is a great place if you are exploring the city and need something quick to eat.

As good as the food is, the service there is awful. We were in a group of five. Our meals were served 40min apart by four different waiters. We got our drinks after our food. After our complaint we got a discount for one meal even though 3 meals were served at least 25min later than the second meal. No one bothered to check on us though there were at least 10 waiters and waitresses who were walking around doing nothing. While I was paying the cashier was running errands. We did not feel welcome at all. I don’t see myself coming back here again. Also pretty expensive.

I had a great time here. The food is good, the service is great and the overall place is nice and we'll designed. I had the pork belly ramen and it was very tasty and filling. While not mind blowing I was still very satisfied. The dish was very large, and the food arrived quick. The staff were also very kind and helpful, and have a very detailed allergy guide for all of their dishes. The place itself is cool but the sitting is slightly awkward, while not uncomfortable I'd rather sit on soft padding or a couch. Cool vibe.

For the last couple of years, I’ve been a regular customer here at this location. The food and drinks have always been consistent in taste, quality and quantity. It is always freshly made and delicious! The crew here is amazing! Always very welcoming, friendly, genuine and customer facing. Since the remodel, the overall vibe is modern, clean and welcoming. The Chicken Katsu Curry is one of their classic dishes. And it is absolutely delicious! One of my absolute favorites for sure. Usually I always ask for extra salad dressing to add some sourness to the dish. Next to that I usually order a small or large tropical juice with ice cubes on the side. A nice refreshing drink to accompany the main course. Would I recommend this Wagamama location? You bet! Absolutely!

Good food, but expensive. The regular size deink was only about 400ml. So unfortunately I was still thirsty afterwards 😃

People come together to eat in a restaurant for a reason. My son's order came in 40 minutes before mine. Our other guests 20 minutes. I raise this point to the staff, and all I get is defensive arguments why this is not possible because the restaurant has two stations. No apologies. BTW. I think the staff can learn a lesson in humbleness.

We ordered 2 different dishes based on noodles. Both were very tasty. They were huge, we could share one dish. The order is made through a QR code directly to the kitchen, there is a waiter if you need help. Payment by card only

Lovely lunch place. Very big portions. There are lots of options and vegetarian options as well. Choice of how spicy you want the food makes the whole experience very customizable. Order via a QR code on the table makes it easy even if you don’t speak dutch. The waitering staff were very friendly and if you couldn’t order with phone were happy to take your order.

nice asian food place. the vegetarian dishes are delicious and has. very good looking The restaurant is very comfortable and has a nice terrace outside to eat outdoors. The only bad thing of my experience were the toilets. They were very dirty and dusty.

We were there with a big group 20+ for Dinner, Overall the experience was nice, fast service and responsible/friendly staff. In terms of food - the quality of food was great. I highly recommend there Firecracker Chicken.

Had planned to visit at the end of a day of visiting the city. We are from the UK. In the UK, wagamama is safe for people with a nut allergy. But not in the Netherlands! However, nowhere on the website or the menu online does it tell you that the food is made to different recipes than in the UK. Nowhere does it give you access to an allergen guide. Nowhere on the menu are nuts mentioned. This isn't a reflection on this specific branch, however I would like wagamama to pay attention to this and make it more visible for customers that the ingredients are different.

Wagamama is one of those franchises that’s had it’s fair share of up and downs since Alan Yau opened its first restaurant in 1992 in London. I used to be a big fan of the chain, going every weekend for a meal and enjoying every minute of it. It’s downfall started when it changed owners to couple of hedge funds that didn’t give a s**t about what they had bought. All of a sudden, the flavours, the taste and the portions all went downhill, resulting in me shunning the chain for over 10 years. By pure luck, I decided to try Wagamama once again to my pleasant surprise. The flavours and portions are back, and it seems all pretty reasonable considering the increase in food supplies of late. You can even get free green tea, but don’t forget to add it to the order. Ordering by QR code is pretty efficient although I do miss the human touch of a waiter taking your orders. All in all, I’m happy that Wagamama seems to have rediscovered what it was all about and I will try and make it a weekly sojourn like the good old days. Kudos to the new owners, the Restaurant Group, for reviving this franchise to what it should be.

The food was sooo salty, it was inedible. Especially the seitan vegan curry. We even ordered an extra brown rice for €3.50 and it barely helped. Brisket ramen was sooo salty too. Pricey for what you get. Food looks good, but Portions are not that big. The only redeeming food was the mushroom and eggplant baos. Worst dining experience. Come on restaurant, you can do better…..

I can’t speak for everything, but the fried gyozo and spicy edamame were fantastic. Warm, modern atmosphere. They have an outdoor patio but it sometimes closes at night due to lack of staff. Many tables have a view of the small square where there is often a life size chess game going on. Full English menu and fluent English speaking staff.

We went here because of some high school nostalgic. & we can assure you even after 10years the dishes still taste the same but the interior luckily got an upgrade. Friendly staff & we were seated quite fast for a Friday night

I ordered ramen for delivery, they got me the wrong soup. I called them, the manager told me a new one was coming. After 2 hours, still no food. I called again, he just hang up in my ear. Is this how you treat your guests? I order every week here, but this was the last time. Such disappointing. The soup never came. 3 October 2022

Had edamame and dumpling thingies, they were both really nice and i enjoyed them a lot. Ramen was okay, noodles and broth itself were good but personally didn't really like the toppings and the chicken lacked seasoning and was just extremely plain, my gf had the pork belly one and that tasted better. Kinda mid but overall pretty okay 6.5/10

Can't knock it for what it is, good location right across from the park. Fairly priced , if you need a wagamama and nearby why not

Large restaurant with lots of great options. We ordered the bang bang shrimp, chicken teriyaki, and the yasai nikko curry. They had very large portion sizes with tasty food. The chicken teriyaki and bang bang shrimp were our favorites. The servers were very friendly and accommodated our request for spicier dishes.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
