😠 My friend asked for a non spicy dish and then gave him something extremely spicy. He could not eat his dish. They also charge a 2 euro credi card fee. The food was not even tasty and very little meat in the dish. People often mention restaurant, Thai, spicy, dish, water, good, nice,

One of the best Thai places around the area. Great service, and lovely Thai chef she has been cooking there for the past 10 years 7 days a week, and this shows in the dishes. If you want to make a dish spicy just ask for it.

Tourist TRAP. Hidden costs. Tiny water $2 each small glass. Below average design and bland food. Not Authentic. They charge for water almost as much as for beer. Of course it is not on the menu or they don’t mention that. But tourists know how to use google reviews.

Lots of hidden costs. Just moved to the neighbourhood and went to try it because of good reviews. The prices online were lower than they are, but fine whatever. Be careful with ordering the water there. We asked for tap water, the guy was very vague and said he'll bring us "some still water, not sparkling", then denied that it's bottled water, which turns out is €2,40. Good thing we noticed that and changed the order. Then at the end we saw the bill and €4 was added for a "bigger portion" that we didn't ask for, because he assumed we want to share. I told him we didn't want that, asked him why he didn't tell us about it when we ordered, but he didn't find anything to say. I guess he thought we're tourists and it was worth screwing us over. We love thai food and would have gone there a lot. Not anymore, but hey good job buddy, you made extra €4! Yay

We have just moved into the area, and being huge lovers of Thai food we wanted to check out this nice looking, popular Thai restaurant. Our first impressions were ok, we stood for quite a while waiting to be seated, but the open kitchen and decor were a nice touch. After the long wait to be seated, the service continued to be slow. The food coming slowly is understandable as the kitchen is quite small and the restaurant was pretty full, but it took a long time for them to come and take our order and to come and give us the bill. The food was mostly worth the wait though - we ordered the roast vegetables in oyster sauce and the fried tofu with onion. The vegetables in oyster sauce was delicious, and for the price the portion was pretty generous. The fried tofu dish was offered to us as spicy or not spicy - I dread to think what would have happened if we had chosen the spicy option because even the non spicy option was quite a challenge to eat. Behind the spice, though, the vegetables and tofu were cooked beautifully and the rest of the flavours (what you could tell of them) were great. Up until now this restaurant would have gotten 3 or 4 stars, but the bill was quite shocking. For one, only a carafe of wine is listed on their menu, so we asked for a bottle. If we had ordered a carafe (0.5L) we would have paid 8.50, but a bottle (0.7L) was 22.50! It is hard to justify that, but they just told us that this was the price. The second shock was that they charged us 3.50 to pay by card. This is already pretty bad considering it's 2020 and we haven't paid extra to pay by card for years now, but when we called them out on not listing this anywhere on the menu their justification was that one of them paid 100 euros at a Japanese restaurant recently. I guess that was meant to make us think this credit card charge was reasonable, but no...it did not work. This could have been a restaurant that we'd visit very regularly, but we'll go to one with better service and more transparent pricing.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, AVERAGE FOOD. Food ok (7/10) however horrendous service and I do not recommend at all. Ran out of noodles at 8pm, not sure how a Thai restaurant expects to do business if they do not even have noodles before most customers have even arrived. Forgot one of our orders. Took 40 minutes for our food, arrived 15 minutes before rice so we could not eat it and was cold by the time we could. We were told it could not be microwaved but they placed it on a heating β€œplate” above candles. My boyfriend was not given cutlery until asking for it twice. To top it off, they only take cash or transfers, told us we could transfer and when we went to pay, said we had to have cash. Had to leave and come back on a wet cold rainy night. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Such delicious food - highly recommend! The place is pretty low key and non-pretentious, and the staff are really friendly. We had the prawn red curry dish with fried rice which was so good! Will definitely eat there again!

Really good restaurant. Fresh vegetables, not canned goods. Authentic Thai taste. Friendly people.

We were the only table when we arrived. It was very dark, and the only light we had was a candle. Perhaps it was supposed to be romantic but not really. The furniture and decor looks old not looked after. The rice we got that came with the food was overcooked i.e. soggy. The only reason I did not give this one star was because the service nice, the staff was very polite. Tip: fix your menu and use a better rice cooker!

Yummy scrumboes! And a really friendly host! Indeed, the interior is a bit mysterious and leaves you guessing, but you are soon appeased and pleased.

Small and cozy, clean store, nice atmosphere and honestly amazing friendly staff. Loved my time there. Food isnt very expensive (entrees/soups under 10€ and meals around 14€) and tastes very good. Definitely recommend

Best Thai restaurant in the world. I didn't visit it for ten years, but I still talk about it.

Good family restaurant. The food was tasty and the owners are very nice people. That's the kind of place I will keep coming if I would live in the neighborhood Definitely recommend it!

Although the restaurant itself could use a little bit more of an atmosphere, the food is amazing! I genuinely enjoy Asian and especially Thai food, I can only recommend this place as one of the best Thai foods (if not the best) in Amsterdam. Family run and it shows.

Very simply equipped restaurant. However, the food is original and very tasty; therefore excellent price-performance ratio. The boss (very nice Dutchman) and his cook (his Thai partner) are very accommodating and friendly. Food is varied and is freshly prepared in the back area (open kitchen). No fancy store; However, very good food.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
