Completely in love with the place! When I got there the place was pretty busy, however, we managed to get a table. The staff was very very nice and they moved us 10 min later at a better table (we did not even ask for this, but we were happy they did it). Their specialty coffee is amazing, and so is their food. Got the truffle scrambled eggs and the banana bread and both are super yummy. Bonus: we did not have to wait long for either coffee or the food. Absolutely happy with the experience.

Nice brunch place but be prepared for long waiting time if you have a group more than 4 people, also big group outdoor sitting is quite challenging. Food are tasty but portion might be small for big eater. Unfortunately my Burger doesn’t impress me, clearly it’s not the speciality here, my bad… but fries are tasty and so does the chicken avocado.

One of the most underwhelming brunches I've had. The "sourdough" bread was just two slices of normal bread that were hardly toasted. The avocado was spread so thinn on the avocado toast, and the garnish was one tomato. There was no taste at all. The shrimp croquettes were about 2cm long and again the bread was hardly toasted and spread with a thin layer of mustard. It was literally just croquettes on bread. I've seen more effort put in at McDonald's. ~12 euro each for these are highway robbery. Hardly any vegan options. Orange juice and mimosas were great. Service was great and friendly. This is clearly a cute cafe for drinks but avoid for brunch if you're looking for anything more than a something you could throw together yourself, hungover after a night out. You're better off going somewhere else in the area.

Great friendly service with a bunch of variety for breakfast. Portion size is average to slightly small. The burrata was probably the best dish out of all of the ones we tried.

Salmon. Eggs. Benedict. Unlike anything I’ve ever had before! Delicious brunch foods, they truly taste as good as they look. Great selection of coffee and drinks, and very cozy atmosphere. Great service as well!

Quite a nice place for the brunch. Our sandwiches were tasty and staff was friendly. We enjoyed sitting outside on the sunny day. Wasn't as busy as other places in the neighbourhood.

Nice brunch spot in De Pijp. Perfect for a Sunday brunch. I would recommend to make a reservation upfront, as the line was very long. The Eggs Benedict were very good and the açai bowl was ok. The pancakes looked delicious- so prob for our next visit.

If you go on Sunday, be prepared to queue. We went there around noon, and thankfully we were only 2 so it went pretty quick. The plates were really good. And really tasty. I would totally recommend getting a brunch there.

Delicious breakfast. We were all happy with the food. Nice portions. Good juice and coffee. Has vegan options. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Poached eggs were perfectly runny.

The poached egg avo on toast was excellent- creamy eggs, sour dough which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, fresh salad on the side. Great coffee too! Highly recommend for brunch.

One of our favorite brunch places in Amsterdam! Great location and good atmosphere, heaters outside, kind service and amazing dishes. I would recommend sharing as they’re a bit big, and prices are slightly elevated (for a tourist). Just watch out for a couple bees, and I highly recommend it!

I quite liked the food and drink variety that this place had. I ordered some pancakes and eggs Benedict with a chai latte and a capuchino as drinks. I quite enjoyed the pancakes and would come back only to have those! The fruit was fresh, sweet, and the maple syrup was out of this world. As for the eggs, I would have rather have a sourdough bread instead of burger buns, there wasn’t enough hollandaise sauce, and the eggs were a bit rubbery in texture. Even though they were not bad tasting, I think this dish could improve in flavor and by changing some ingredients. As for the chai latte, it was delicious and full of flavor, however I felt like the size small was 1/3 foam and the rest was drink and spices. As for the service, it was excellent. The waitress was quite friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere is also quite nice, however I am not a fan of crowded places in which the tables are quite close to each other. Finally… the price. It was pricey as you do spend around 50€ for two people in this place so keep it in mind when visiting.

Delicious breakfast restaurant. Perfectly suited for a start to a museum day. Great coffee! My wife had the veggie sandwich she I had eggs benedict. Best poached eggs I've had in a long time. That veggie sandwich is serious too! All was incredibly flavorful. Left full but the cakes looked amazing. Would consider going back for afternoon coffee and cake.

We had Eggs Benedict and scrambled truffle eggs. The bacon was good, but the eggs Benedict did not have enough hollandaise sauce (I had to order extra and pay). The scrambled truffle eggs were quite disappointing and cold. We shared a fresh orange juice that tasted more like a lemon juice (so bitter). The staff were friendly, but we will not visit again.

Serving is efficient! We were there during Saturday peak hour. Staff came out with menu and told us this is a 15-20min wait but we got the seat within 10min. This restaurant does expectation management very well! The poached egg with avocado is the best, I haven’t seen poached egg being cooked so perfectly like this for a while. Food also arrived fast, everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!

I had a delightful expierence at LOCALS. On my way to the Van Gogh Museum I decided to stay here for breakfast and ordered the Açaí Bowl with home made granola and fruits. The food itself was very tasty, the chai latte was nice and the ambience is unbeatable. The view is a example of the beautiful places Amsterdam has to offer. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Really enjoyable cafe to have brunch outside in a quiet street in a very comfortable atmosphere. We had the egg Benedict that we had asked with some extra truffle oil and the eggs with salmon. All was very tasty. Same for fresh orange juice and green smoothie. There are many brunch places around and this one is worth the visit.

Dense, large cake slices alongside hot drinks outside was great. Seating outside is covered and beautiful for a warm day. Staff were nice and speedy with orders.

Mine brunch was okay, however, nothing amazing, wouldn’t go there again personally. My boyfriend (food from the top) was asked if he wants an extra avocado (that costs extra so decided that original without may be the best)… would he have known that otherwise they serve the brunch as only the bread and Benedict eggs so plain and sad?… As a restaurant I would never allow ourself to serve a dish like that. I felt it was too odd… 😅😅 The place also was quite busy and stressful inside. I wouldn’t recommend personally. The staff was friendly though and sweet!

Spectacular breakfast although it qualifies more as brunch because portions are well served. We have the burger, royal poached egg, carrot cake and I had the poached egg avocado (delicious!). It isn’t cheap but nothing really is in Amsterdam or The Netherlands for all that matters. Prices are high compared with those in Spain because they are the same throughout the country, not just Amsterdam. You may have to wait to get seated because it is very popular but the staff is very efficient so food is at your table very quick. We got there by chance and had to wait a bit but it didn’t disappoint.

It is an all around safe good place to go too. The variety of the menu is decent. I liked the burger and the fries I had and the drinks are soooo good (i recommend the iced hibiscus drink it won’t disappoint). My friend had a toast kind of thing I don’t remember the name but she didn’t liked it because it tasted very bland and the bread was way too hard. So maybe they can change something about it. I recommend to make reservation if you go in the winter period because you cannot side indoors otherwise and it was freezing cold outside so sitting there and eating was unbearable normally if I sit outside in the winter to eat the heater would make me feel warm but their heather didn’t do nothing. I recommend this place but keep my last advice for consideration if you don’t like the cold

It’s such a gorgeous restaurant, clean and inviting. Tried the eggs benedict and the brioche bun was amazing. The matcha latte was fairly standard, a little lukewarm. Lastly the mixed salad was disappointing, a tiny portion of greens with four cherry tomatoes. Everything was a bit overpriced but I don’t regret stopping by for a quick breakfast.

Great brunch spot! You definitely want to make a reservation as the place is very busy. You might get lucky with a walk in but if you're a bigger group that might be difficult. The staff was really friendly. The bloody Mary and mimosa were delicious and the food is also very good. I had the Eggs Benny (lower plate) and my friends had variations with avocado. The inside is quite crowded and tables are close together, so if you want a place that is super airy maybe this won't be for you. Still, we had a lovely experience!

A nice coffee for having a quick lunch. We waited a bit too much. The food was good and the price normal.

The vegetable sandwich was awesome! It is very tasty! I liked the place and food, but I didn’t like they don’t accept cash :( please start to accept cash to improve your service, after it people will give you only five stars!

It was my second visit to Locals. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is nice and the staff is great. We ordered different things from sweet to savory and salty to share. I love sharing food as it gives you the change to try the different things and adds to your experience while enjoying family and friends. I will definitely be back when in the Netherlands.

We tried several bfast/branch places in city center but LOCALS was the best by far! All dishes were very tasty and many options to choose from! Even though we didnt sit outside as initially had chosen because we were 10’ mins + later with our reservation, the interior was very pleasant as well. Staff very quick and friendly. Its location was also in one of the best neighborhoods of the city. Overall price to value was great! Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting A-dam!

Super nice space, lots of windows and a covered terrace. Good for small groups (4 or less) inside. Service was appropriate. Food was okay, good but nothing to write home about. I would have appreciate more fruits on my pancakes and less syrup (or on the side). Skip the matcha latte; it was dark green (old) and grainy.

Locals is such an amazing and wonderful spot! The food is delicious with some great vegan options (the pancakes are phenomenal) and the staff is incredible. They are so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure they took into account our dietary restrictions. The restaurant itself is really cosy and the service is very quick. We went there every day of our stay and will definitely be back in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Locals and was blown away by the excellent service we received from our server, Ross. From the moment we sat down, Ross greeted us with a warm smile and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Not only was Ross efficient and attentive, he was also incredibly cheerful and friendly. He chatted with us about the menu and recommended some of his personal favorites, which were all delicious. He even went above and beyond by checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure we were enjoying everything. But what really set Ross apart was his genuine care for our experience. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy, and it was clear that he truly cared about our satisfaction. It's not often that you come across service with a smile like this, but Ross was the definition of it. Overall, our experience at Locals was excellent, and a big part of that was thanks to Ross and his excellent service. I would highly recommend this restaurant, not just for the delicious food but also for the top-notch service

Awesome brunch spot! We were happy to find that they were open on Christmas Day. We had lattes, the salmon eggs benedict and the chicken sandwich with a side of fries. All yummy! Staff is super friendly. Loved the ambience. Would highly recommend!

Had meant to go somewhere else for breakfast, but they were full so looked for the nearest instead. So glad we did! Amazing oat cappuccino and the best eggs royale I've ever tasted, all served by really friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Cafe with a very good atmosphere, we ate Poached eggs avocado sourdough with avocado mash two poached eggs, and Triple stacked pancakes, stacked pancakes with banana, blueberry and maple syrup the coffee was made just right hot and very tasty, definitely worth a visit

I went in at around 11 as a table of one without a reservation. I was able to get inside seating quickly because there was no line, I was alone, and she gave me an hour at the table. The lemon cake and iced caramel latte are fantastic! The chicken avocado was also very good however the chicken was spicy which I did not expect. Food was pretty pricey but I think this is due to online hype (warranted hype). Overall the atmosphere is great, wonderful staff, and adorable space. The inside is pretty small though so I would highly recommend a reservation, especially on the weekend or chilly and/or rainy day.

The breakfast is over priced for what you get! Pancakes were way too sweet and for almost 13€ was not worth it! Scrambled eggs were also tasteless! The only thing we enjoyed was the flat white. I only recommend the coffee here!
