Good Food, Nice Ambience. I recently dined at a cosy restaurant with a great interior design and delicious cuisine. The service was exceptional, and the menu consisted of shareable dishes that allowed us to try a variety of dishes. We opted for the duck spring rolls, flat iron steak, shrimp, and cheesecake. The flat iron steak was definitely the standout dish of the night. It was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender with a mouthwatering flavor. The shrimp were also delicious and perfectly cooked, with a nice balance of spice and tang. However, the duck spring rolls were a bit of a letdown for me. I would have preferred pieces of duck instead of mashed duck. We finished off the meal with a slice of cheesecake, which unfortunately was a little too sweet for my taste, but still had a nice texture and flavor. Overall, it was a great experience. The cozy atmosphere, great service, and fantastic flat iron steak made it a memorable evening. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers great cuisine and a comfortable ambiance, this is definitely worth checking out.

Nice place with a terrace that has a nice view. The service was really quick and they were great. The food was also awesome. A tad bit pricey perhaps but still delicious.

Nice place with one of my favorite terraces in summer. It’s perfect for a few snacks and a pitcher of sangria. The dishes are good but often quite expensive for what you get. Right now they have a quite small menu which used to be different..but I think that also changes within the season. Right now i think it’s great if you like fish but a somewhat limited menu if you eat vegetarian/ vegan. Service is usually attentive and fast.

So many gluten free options !! Can be a bit on the pricey side depending on how many dishes you order. Truffle fries are to die for but please save room for dessert as I did not. My boyfriend also really enjoyed the broccoli, but I would say it’s on the quite salty side.

The place is beautiful inside, the atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy. The food is good but i found it quite overpriced and portions are a bit small. Menu is also a bit limited/short. I had a good time but overall I was not impressed. Service was ok

Wanted to try this restaurant for a while and was not disappointed. The only problem is that we couldn’t try more things on the menu because we were too full 😅 Food, service, drinks…all perfect! The decor is also pretty nice and cozy. Can’t wait to come back!

Great view from the terrace to have a few drinks and tapas, specially during summer. The food portions are more like snack size than proper dishes, so if you’re hungry order a couple of things. The truffle fries are amazing!

Cool place for sharing food, good selection of whine and cocktails. The staff is nice and the decoration makes you feel in a different city. If the weather is good, the terrace is lovely.

The cauliflower is a MUST! Super cute place. We went for the brunch menu but realized we went too late so we waited for dinner. We didn’t know it was two different menus but were not disappointed. All the food was delicious! The atheistic is so cute! You can sit inside or by the water. The drinks were good. Nothing crazy but do the job.

Love the vibe and the food here! These small portions are perfect if you want to taste different kind of things instead of eating one big dish. Service is friendly and the food and drinks came fast. A little bit overpriced but nothing way too crazy. It’s around 10 EUR per small dish. The oysters are also quite good. Overall good experience, I enjoyed it!

Loved it. Every menu system is bit unique. Miniature size and price together. Good to come for snacking. If you eat less always, it is perfect for me. I took BAO and it was perfect for my dinner.

Love chilling beside the river with some food in the summer and get some tan. The Korean chicken was okayyy. Looks good but tasted mediocre. Beer was fine. There is always long line in the summer. I think we waited the food for like 20 mins or more. Anyway, it is a good location that you can order and enjoy the river view.

We had an amazing dinner here last night. The cocktails and the food were absolutely gorgeous! Would definitely recommend the tuna tacos, beef tartare and Yakitori chicken skewers! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely made our last night in Amsterdam perfect! Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I spent the weekend in Amsterdam and this quaint cafe was just about a 3 min walk from our accommodation. It’s a very cute place and the canal view is beautiful as well. I deducted one star because we ordered a few things and never received some of those things. Turns out there was a shift change while we were dining and our initial waitress hadn’t put our full order into the system. We were pleased with the flavors of all the things we ordered and hope to taste all the things we didn’t receive next time I guess lol

Interesting place for a light meal or a quick bite. Restaurant is quite small, table must be reserved in advance. Concept; share dining, small portions. A bit expensive, but for a try out it can be ok. There are a few delightful dishes in the menu, but I guess, it may as well depends on what you may fancy, I enjoyed the ceviche, the octopus and the salmon…

Nice cafe with an amazing view. By the Amstel river and a very chill place to visit for cocktails. They also do brunches. Book ahead! It's popular and waiting times are high on weekends/ evenings.

The place is very beautiful and quiet The decor is bohemian, relaxing and beautiful We ordered the avocado bowl, which was delicious Chicken sandwich with PERi-PERi sauce. Rate it 4/10. The chicken had an unpleasant flavor and was difficult to chew The menu has limited options according to the times also.

Awesome little restaurant with river-view, very high quality food, that’s well seasoned and such a cozy atmosphere inside. It is reasonable and well recommended!

Nice view of the Amstel. Seating across from restaurant. Table had QR code and said to order and pay online, but then a server came and helped us. Three kinds of sangria - white, red and cava.

Can definitely recommend this place for some cute drinks and small tapas. They have a vast variety of cocktails and all types of different food. I can definitely recommend the homemade fries, those were amazing!!!

I love this resraurant.I has a very nice atmosphere. The food is really good and great to share with your company. Also lovely cocktails although being quite picky here, they could be a bit improved (quite swretened some times). I recommend anything from the food menu, from the meat and fish options! Oh the service is quite good too.

Good food and easy online ordering experience. Staff is nice and not putting pressure to leave the table. A bit overpriced for what you get but worth the experience!

Great service and food. Really enjoyed the terrace in a beautiful, cold and sunny day. Make sure to make a reservation, they're usually full

I’ve been to bam boa quite some times now, I love their truffle fries and sangria! Service is a bit slow tho, but if u sit outside next the canals it’s pretty nice

  • 4/5 Liberty C. 2 years ago on Google
The food, location and service were excellent. There could be better communication - on the website or menu - about the size of the food portions though. They are quite small. You may need to order at least three items to feel satisfied (dinner meal).

Had a great time! Went there on a Monday night, but still the place was stacked. Really friendly waiters, great food, and a fantastic location overlooking the Amstel!

Lovely food, combination of small snacks, very tasty. Very kind services, all time smiling and helpful. Perfect location, open space at the rivier, lovely terrace.

I don't normally leave reviews but I'm quite disappointed with Bam Boa and can't let it go. Super disorganised, not enough staff. We waited 15 minutes to get a bottle of sparkling water when we arrived. Food was cold by the time it arrived. My bloody Mary was served in a short glass, full of ice. 5 sips and it's empty, and costs nearly 9 euros. I walked away from Bam Boa shaking my head at the glaring lack of quality in food, staff training and prices. Locals may think this is normal but anywhere else in Europe this is a joke of an establishment. What a waste of a view. Thanks for nothing 🙏

Cute place but food is average. Service was a but lacking, but could be due to shortage of staff.

Nice terrace next to the Amstel to enjoy a sunny day while having a drink. We were a big group and we had a bunch of snacks, all of it tasty! Service could be a bit prompt.

Lovely and bright place with creative decor and - most of all - delicious food. I've had a fresh salad and truffled fries - yummy!

Super cool atmosphere on the Amstel with delicious food! We got the ceviche, salad, and Korean bbq bites. Lots of gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options, which are all labeled on the menu. Will be back!

Nice location along the Amstel with both indoor and outdoors being nicely setup and decorated! Food is good and price decent taking into account all of the above. Super calm and kind people for catering... We arrived by boat right next to it. Much appreciated moment spent there!

Just the best location to sit out on the water on a sunny day! We got take away cocktails and fries (really tasty) to sit by the water. Staff are all pleasant. Haven’t had a full meal here yet so I can’t comment on that, but I can say that for drinks and snacks in the sun it’s perfect.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
