Great studio that focus on building strength and stamina for mountain activities. I'm a runner myself and the Wednesday lift classes are great for strength and injury prevention. Also the Tuesday and Thursday evening running club is a social event to look forward to!

Classes at City Alps have helped me build up my strength and get me race-ready for running challenges and increase my cycling fitness. The instructors are super friendly and approachable and Georgia and Dayne have created an inspiring, welcoming community - whether you want to get stronger and fitter for a specific training goal or want to maintain general fitness for life, I highly recommend City Alps! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

City Alps is one of a kind. It's community, adventure, and highly effective training. There really isn't anything else like it, even in the mountain-adventure capitals of the world. I 100% recommend City Alps to anyone who wants so much more than a gym. So much fun and heart and soul getting me fit and adventure ready.

The best Ride Classes in town! You get super fit following along just a couple of classes per week. Different focus areas, different coaches, so it doesn’t get boring. Also strength, run and yoga classes. Super open and welcoming members and coaches in comparison with other cycling studios in town. Great add-on to outdoor rides in the summer or to stay fit during the long grey winter months.

Best sport club in Amsterdam. The spinning classes are super well thought through with great playlists, this combined with strength classes made me so much better on my bike. I also feel part of a super special community sharing the same love for adventures!

Such a great studio and a great community of people. The owners are passionate about what they do and their spirit is contagious. I love the balance between the cycle classes and the more bootcamp-style workouts (all HIIT focused). I used to go to regular gyms for self workout sessions, but since coming to City Alps I've developed a far better regular routine, and I'm probably in the best shape I've ever been. All thanks to Georgia and Dayne, cheers guys!

Best place to exercise in Amsterdam! Super professional trainers, always fun and you get super fit. I moved but still miss City Alps after a year!

The instructors are friendly and really encouraging, they always inject a sense of fun and encouragement into classes. I've learned a lot of fitness theory and specific training skills which have really helped me achieve my goals out on the road. An excellent way to train and socialise with a fab, inclusive fitness community.

Either you are an amateur, a sport addict or a curious, City Alps will always welcome you, guide you and push you beyond your limits. But be careful this can definitely become addictive! I definitely wouldn’t have lived this Covid year the same way without City Alps. I became a better athlete by combining cycling, strength and running and I am even more adventure ready. City Alps will always keep an important place in my Amsterdam’s story.

Brilliant new studio (ride, lift and ride/lift combination classes) to help you get mountain fit. Unlike any other studio in Amsterdam. The facilities are wonderful, clean and light, with a great variety of equipment. The teachers are extremely competent and encouraging. There’s also a running club that you can join.

Great place if you want to become stronger in a fun way! I especially like the Ride & Lift classes, that are different every week. Half the time on the bike, half the time on the floor for weighted and body weight exercises, makes time go really fast. I really enjoy training here.

A wonderfully holistic workout experience, from the committed trainers to the classes (and everything in between). City Alps is not just about exercise. It's about community, health and connection. The Ride classes are intense but fun, and the Lift classes are unlike anything I've ever done before, combining functional movement and weights to get a full-body workout whilst also improving form. Being in the studio feels like being at home and is the best way to start the day. Georgia and Dayne (the hosts) are two of the most committed, kind and knowledgeable trainers you could hope for. Can highly recommend!

A great place. I could only attend for a few classes as I was only in Amsterdam for a short while but the classes and instructors are all great. Compared to many other spin/cycling or other studios I've tried in the US (e.g., soul cycle, orange theory), this one had a much better mix of strength training. As I was recovering from a back injury, the mix is really helpful in improving my mobility. The Ride+Lift classes were my favorite. The classes are also not too crowded and have good space.

This is the studio I've been waiting for my whole life! The classes are challenging and always fun. Everyone from the instructors and owners to the community are incredibly nice and supportive people. What I love about the classes offered is that all of them together gives a well rounded weekly workout getting you ready for any sport. I slightly prefer Ride & Life as that mixes strength and cardio together, but I find Ride to be the most challenging. The running club on Tuesdays and Thursdays is great too!

Best place I have ever trained in Amsterdam. Georgia and Dayne are the inspiring owners who look to create a community of sporters. They give you professional insight in how to achieve your personal sportive goals and the community inspires you to create new ones every time:-). The training sessions are well structured and the variety of the ride/run/strength sessions give you enough choice to build a well structured training program to achieve your goal(s). And it really works!!! The staff all have the same enthousiasme and drive. Besides personal goals you can participate in several events initiated by City Alps and it's community. No other place for me than City Alps to and to keep me fit and strong and achieve my sportive goals.

City Alps is waaay more than a Cycling Studio. Georgia and Dayne have been able to create an amazing community full of inspiring adventurers. The studio offers a great mix of friendly community and performance driven classes, where you'll be guided by great instructors and push based on your FTP (since the great bikes have PowerMeters). The coaches will help you find your best bike fit and teach you how to follow the classes if you are not used to it. I would totally recommend!

Amazing vibe, easy going, open-minded people. Great place for cyclists during winter (and during rainy summer days, of which we have a lot in Amsterdam let's face it).

City Alps is brilliant. The people are so welcoming. I really like their ethos of functional movement. The coaches explain exercises so you know which muscles you're working. The team clearly know what they are doing, they'll help to correct your form and offer alternatives if you're recovering from an injury or if you want to take things at your own pace. There's a great atmosphere. They don't take themselves too seriously - they make great training great fun!

😠 Unfortunate to see my favourite gym constantly in disrepair. Often taking weeks to months before simple issues are fixed. Cleanliness is also not as it used to be - WCs become disgusting later in the day. Calling customer support wasn’t helpful so I thought I’d post my complaints here.
