"You are what you eat" is a motto shared by Amsterdam-based The Cold Pressed Juicery which has five branches spread throughout the city. The outlet located on the corner of Gasthuismolensteeg and Herengracht canal is compact but cosy with a small seating area and complimentary WiFi access for those who want to eat on the premises, but is primarily a take-away, also with various delivery options. The shop offers a variety of tasty cold pressed juices, smoothies, shots, breakfast bowls, soup, salads, snacks and raw foods. All of the products are sugar, gluten and dairy free without pasteurisation, preservatives, chemicals or any other additives, ensuring maximum health benefits. Everything is 100% organic using the purest natural produce. Items are clearly labelled with all of the ingredients. Glass-fronted refrigerators make it quick and easy to make your selection and there is a sleek designed bar where you can see preparations taking place. Super friendly staff make you feel at home and are happy to advise or answer any questions. The shop also offers a one, three or five day juice detox program as an extra health boost.

I’ve been frequenting various branches of β€œThe Cold Pressed Juicery” since January 2018, and I’ve only been to this one two days ago, on Friday night a few minutes before closing time, and I must admit that the nice Dutch lady working behind the counter had to be the friendliest salesperson I’ve ever come into contact with in all my years of existence. 150/150 πŸ™ I do sincerely hope she will continue to receive nothing but good karma as long as she lives.

Recently visited the Cold Pressed Juicery on Herengracht. This is a very good Juicery that has several branches around the city. Opening hours are 7.30am to 7pm (Mon to Fri), 9am to 6pm (Sat) and 10am to 6pm (Sun). On the occasion, I had a very good Pick Me Up (fruit juice) and a Ginger Shot. The Pick Me Up was fresh and flavourful. The ginger shot was strong, a real eye-opener. Both were quality juice drinks, similarly to the very good orders we have enjoyed at the Cold Pressed Juicery at Prinsengracht in recent years. Based on this experience, would gladly revisit this Cold Pressed Juicery and their other branches in the future.

Friendly and helpful staff. Came there in the later afternoon and the only juices available were the ones in the cooler even though they had a juice menu. The juice is however fresh and yummy. I had the Pick me Up juice which was delicious. In order to help the environment you can also bring your own cup for them to fill. You get a 50 cent discount. They also have membership options with discounts. Small cute shop overal! Recommend and will definitely visit again.

Went here on Friday Jan 31st 2020. Ordered one of their small bottles cold pressed raw juices, tasted delicious but got food poisoning from it and spent the next 3 hours in my hotel room puking my guts up. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Love the fresh, organic ingredients. There is even a live tree inside the store?! Also, LOVE the biodegradable plastic straws. Maybe they could avoid plastic cups and bottles though.. be sure to recycle them, people!! :)

I have never seen a more inspiring store than this one - I mean it has a tree inside. Nothing is more authentic. The best cold-pressed juices in town. Whenever you happen to visit Amsterdam, you must go. Delicious, healthy and 100 % stylish, too.

The juice was awesome. The banoffee parfait tasted like a very decadent dessert, but without all the usual bad stuff! The girl behind the counter was very nice and cheerful, a rare thing in Amsterdam. Five stars, no less.

It just cannot get any fresher. The juices and my fave- the delish, healthy, guilt-free sweets! I'm obsessed and visit every time when around Amsterdam. ITS A MUST. Plus the cute indoor tree makes it even nicer to enjoy their goodies inside <3

πŸ‘πŸ‘ The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
