I really wanted to like Beulings. It’s intimate setting, reviews and prices set high expectations. Unfortunately, the reality was less than what I expected, having experienced other fine dinning restaurants in the same price bracket. I was somewhat confused by the menu. Especially the opening courses. It was just underwhelming and lacked that wow factor you would expect.

Unbelievable experience. We went in with a plan of the 5 course and transitioned into the 7 course dinner. They also brought numerous transition plates in between the courses. The portions were just right. I also encourage the wine pairing or half glass pairings (if you are driving!!!!). They were very knowledgeable about the wines , the regions and more and they were truly a perfect pairing for each course. The service was also fantastic. One of my favorite restaurants in the world now!

Every now and then you find a restaurant that just blows you away, a place that makes memories for life. This is one of them. The personal, casual service; the welcoming atmosphere; the carefully crafted wine pairing. It’s all clearly in service of the overwhelmingly delicious food. Take your time when you come here, because five courses turned into ten and each one deserves your attention. I enjoyed every minute and will be back as soon as possible!

Nice place, intimate art-decoish furniture, amazing service (best I ever had). 2 stars off for the food and time. The food was probably too weird tasting...shrimp with the shrimps liver made into a paste, one of the amuse bouche was extremely fishy my friend and I couldn't finish it. We arrived at 8, left 11:30 (probably stayed longer if we hadn't rushed the check). I had much better "elegant" food in other places.

Amazing place offering awesome food even though the covid times. Menu changes every week. Food is nicely packaged and tastes like something out of this world. We love it

Visiting this gem now for many years! And by far this is my favourite place to go for a celebration and food experience. Lemon pie with olive ice cream, octopus, great wine and service! Perfect!

This place is fabulous, great service, lovely staff - amazing experience- 6 stars!! But only 5 available ;) I have decided to add tom this review because it wasnt the best review. The location was tucked away on a bacj street - as are most jewels in Amsterdam, the hosts were very congenial and explained the gastronomic journey very well, suggesting fabulous wines to compliment a wonderful journey of tantalising taste sensations. Simply put you must visit this restaurant. you wont be dissapointed.

One of the best meals I've ever had. Beautiful intimate atmosphere. A dinner that seemed to have Neverending courses. Everything was perfect.

We’ve had one of the most amazing and special dining experiences here. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, wine pairing is spot on, and people working here make sure you have the best evening. We’ve been to a number of restaurants in Amsterdam with a star next to their names, none of them come close to the warmth, personal attitude and food quality of Beulings.

Wonderful variety in textures and tastes, perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh vegetables and fish the hostess Lisja is the chef’s wife and is lovely and knowledgeable. The two young fresh-faced waiters did their job admirably. The place is relaxed and warmly elegant. Great find in a lovely neighbourhood.

Great overall dining experience and fantastic wines!

Beulings is an outstanding and unique small restaurant of only seven tables. The chef is producing highly creative dishes, often ‘fusion’, truly superb in flavors, perfect cuisson of deer, deep sauces, delightful desserts. I’d give them TWO Michelin stars, having no say whatsoever in such culinary kudos. Efficient and elegant service, fine wines, comfortable seating, pleasant background, open kitchen, and yes, such beautiful things do not come cheaply.

Hidden gem, i am definitely coming back! Loved every single dish. :)

Absolutely fantastic food and wine, and super nice homey atmosphere. They serve many small dishes so I advice that you come hungry! Also all the small details, such as the very beautiful serving plates and delicate wine glasses added to the experience. The owners are so nice and friendly and help to make a very special experience. The background music was quiet enough that it was possible to have nice conversations. Will definately visit again!!

I first came here eight years ago and it blew me away. Amazing food with individual flavours singing out but also completely in harmony with everything else on the plate. I’ve eaten in lots of Dutch restaurants since and none have really matched up to that original experience. Why I haven’t been back since is unknown but tonight was that return and I was a little apprehensive, but it was FANTASTIC!! The same care and attention was given to every single dish, matched by the care and attention of the staff. To feel like you are eating that quality and calibre of food eight years on….special! Most definitely my favourite Amsterdam restaurant.
