The place is terrible for food - from the worst jollof rice I've tasted in my life to the low quality environment of torn furniture, dirty tables and rough concrete floors - the contrast between the plush, maintained McDonald's and ethnic minorities in the other section is stark - maybe the landlord doesn't care. Although a strong community feel, the food from Gold Coast and Surinam place opposite is poor - I definitely would not bother again.

World of Food is a nice place to get food from various international stalls. Its located in a former parking garage of the Bijlmer buildings. It's pretty cool to see how an old building is reused for this purpose. It's a little less 'hip' than the foodhalls in Amsterdam, but the prices also seem much more reasonable. Good place to have a casual bite. Good - various types of cuisines - plenty of parking - affordable - cool atmosphere - plenty of seating Improvement - could be a bit hectic when busy (was not the case during our visit)

I visited Gold Coast, a Ghanaian foodstall inside the World of Food food court. They a variety of Ghanaian menus including fufu with various traditional soups, akyeke, kelewele, waakye, palava sauce, fried chicken and the almighty GHANA JOLLOF πŸ‡¬πŸ‡!! They offer both take-away and eat-in services and their prices are very affordable. We tried fufu and palm nut soup on a Sunday afternoon and it brought back lots of memories. The soup was on point! We also had kelewele and fried chicken, both of them were well seasoned! They probably should do more on the texture of the fufu.

Nice place with lots of food options! Pizza and Maxican place was hot spot! If you are group of more than 2 ppl, i would suggest go early and secure your table. In busy hours no way you would be able to find place within an hour. Otherwise, Loved this place and we enjoyed our food and drinks!

Located in Amsterdam, this food court is a culinary haven that satisfies diverse palates with its wide range of delicious food options. The selection available ensures that there's something to please everyone's taste buds. One of the highlights of this food court is the impressive variety of cuisines on offer. From local delicacies to international flavors, you can find an array of mouthwatering dishes to satisfy your cravings. Whether you're in the mood for Asian specialties, Mediterranean delights, or classic fast food, this food court has got you covered. The quality of the food is generally excellent, with many vendors taking pride in using fresh ingredients and preparing dishes to order. From flavorful stir-fries and juicy burgers to aromatic curries and delectable desserts, the food court offers a satisfying dining experience. However, a minor downside is that the food court closes quite early, at 9 PM. This can be inconvenient for those who prefer to have dinner or grab a late-night snack. It would be beneficial if the food court extended its operating hours at least until 10 PM, allowing customers to enjoy their meals at a more leisurely pace or cater to those who have later evening plans. Despite the early closing time, the overall ambiance of the food court is pleasant. The seating area is well-maintained, providing a comfortable and casual atmosphere to enjoy your meal. The staff members are usually friendly and attentive, ensuring a positive dining experience. In conclusion, this food court offers a diverse range of delicious food options that cater to various tastes. While the quality of the food is commendable and the overall dining experience is enjoyable, it would be beneficial if the food court extended its operating hours until at least 10 PM to accommodate customers who prefer to dine later in the evening. Regardless, it remains a fantastic destination for a satisfying and diverse culinary experience.

Queen D totally overhyped! The menu is very overpriced for what you get. They put the seafood boil in the microwave, the potato was disgusting, the corn was just corn but even that wasn’t good at all. The shrimps were not special, and the mini lobster wasn’t even worth trying because it was mostly shell. The service is very bad, the women who helped us, looked unbothered and wasn’t professional at all. Long story short: i feel scammed, just instagram hype. One star for the tissues.

This is a true gem in the south east of Amsterdam near the Bijlmer. So much selection of quality cooked foods. Vibes are amazing and it is so convenient. Rumor has it they will raze the place for condos and that is a crime. Long live the World of Food!

Dirty, very dirty. Pigeons flying and eating,and...well ,take a closer look at the pics. When i asked the manager if that was normal ,he could not answer this simple question, but instead he started asking me where i was from, and what was my occupation

WORST BUTTER CHICKEN THAT I’VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. So dry so watery no taste at all. If you need some water you can eat this.

I definitely see why most people opt for take away. There's a rustic aspect of the interior that isn't suited for everyone. But if you're after Ghanian food that's bursts with flavour this place is a must-visit

😐 A good place to play board games, pétanque and hangout. Super crowded and loud. The vibes and so nice, the drinks are good but the food is below average. We ordered many plates and they all tasted super normal and some were not tasteful. Staff are nice and helpful

😠 The crab on the menu, which is literally a deep fried crab - cost €12 for two small battered crabs. I gagged when I tried to taste it, so my girlfriend who did not want to waste the money ate one of them. She spent the next two hours throwing up in Schipol airport, and spent the flight home in the...
