the worst place in my life. They don't speak english well enough. They are always busy to help you, no patience. They charge the sauce of the beef. They don't explain how it works the prices. The special menu with better prices they hide from menu. it is only on the banner outside. Also they asked for tips/gratitude, first time I saw a restaurant asking for gratitudes.

If you are reading this don’t make a mistake by choosing this restaurant! One star is even too much for what we got! I ate the worst steak and burger ever ! I ordered medium well cooked and what I got was medium rare !!!! I asked again to cook it more but again I got a steak far from being cooked ! Steak aside, they charged 2.30 euro for tiny portion of sauce(barely one spoon)! So keep in mind the dishes are without sauce,salt, pepper and spices! Also they charged us for a beer that we ordered but never get! Unfortunately we realized too late!

Terrible experience. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone. I ordered mixed vegetable with slices of meat, I asked for it to be medium rare. I received two skewers of diced lamb divided by capsicum and onion. The meat was over cooked and extremely dry. I asked for it to be changed. They brought my food after all my friend's finished their food. This time the meat was fully uncooked and completely raw. 6 people ate terrible food and costed €193. Was the worst worst experience of food and pocket rip off.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This is the worst service I have ever had in the Netherlands. Scratch that, the world. Absolutely unacceptable. Magdi (the owner of the restaurant) made our experience absolutely miserable. I told him I needed one minute to look at the menu, and he promptly informed me that I cannot stay if I did not order food and drinks. I went to the bathroom, and they took my half-finished soup and fries. When we tried to pay, they would not let us split the bill by charging individual amounts to cards. I swear he was working hard to make our experience worse. The owner made us feel like he hated that we were in his restaurant. We asked for water, and they gave no water. It was abominable. Mario, the waiter was fine and tried to make our experience more enjoyable, so don’t let this review impact your judgment of him, but honestly, do not waste your time here.

Got a soup, or dishwater. Not really sure. Then a 350 gr. Ribeye, totally raw and tasteless. Got a new one, cooked a bit more. But still tasteless and i bet the meat is not from Argentina. Outside they have one menu, when you come in. They say it's an old one. And give you a different menu.

Was surprised to see a steak house charge for sides and sauces. I didn’t expect to see that in Amsterdam. Oh they didn’t provide tap water when told, said it’s not available. The steak did taste good.

The food was fine, the problem is that we ordered food , we thought that the extras were included in the price because the waiter didn't say anything and the price wasn't cheap at all. He simply asked what side dish with the steak and what sauce, etc. We were surprised to find that each side dish and sauce cost money. The price for two came out tp 65 euros, we left 70 euros and the waiter did not return any change . Tourists scamming .. don't eat there!!

Bad service, he was not answering our question correctly.. he talked without looking at us his eyea looking somewhere else far. Overpriced. Mix grill for two is totally not worth it, I have asked before hand if there was steak in it he said yes but non. Ribs were dry. They don't tell you you must pay the sauce which are not even home made. 2.40 per sauce. Fries were tasteless clearly frozen.

Very bad experience. Not recommended at all. In fact if you know a way to check on their quality, please do something about it. Found 2 hairs in the food. Ribs were not good and probably precooked to be fast. Fries was obviously fried a long time a go. They mix the old 🍟 with less old ones. In addition to that, except for the waiter who was polite, they weren't friendly. Avoid it unless you see good reviews after mine.

As an attraction showing you the lower price but it's not included the drink, top sauce and even bread! The same song is playing in the inside over and over again... Trying to sell everything even pepper.

Starter: -The guacamole for the nachos is not homemade, had no taste at all. - The tuna in the salade is dry as hell. Meal: - The steaks had not flavour, you better had some salt by yourself. - 4,30€ for frozen french fries… I know restaurant are expensive in Amsterdam but at least serve some quality. That’s a tourist scam. And don’t believe the prices outside those are for small portions without side. And the service is not included. 80€ for this is a nice scam well done.

super cute and cozy atmosphere, the staff are also incredible! i ordered the sirloin steak in medium rare but it was quite rare so i asked them to cook it a bit more — so kind and efficient. would definitely come again!

Very disappointed, ordered a schnitzel take away which they advertise outside of the restaurant. I obviously only opened the box at home and it was a half a portion of fries with a quarter of chicken schnitzel. Literally a rip off they would have never served this if I eat there….

Its very hard to find a good restaurant for a guy with a lot of intolerances, but I found grilled chicken with rice and salad here, ingredient wise it looked ok so I gave it a try and now I came back for fourth day in a row because meal is absolutely delicious and staff very friendly :) would totally recommend, definetly coming back

Pretty decent restaurant. The steak was pretty good, and the schnitzel was okay. Enpanada was delicious, fries were crispy too. The staff was really friendly, and the atmosphere was cosy. The only downside was, I would expected that the sauces would be included in the price for steak and schnitzel, but nope. Not a huge deal, but a bit weird and unexpected I must say. Recommended.

Perfect ribeye steak and bread with garlic butter. Simple and tasty.

(12/3) We chose two special dishes -- steak & ribs, which tasted quite good. The store has a comfortable environment and the music on the day is also very good.

This is our first trip to Amsterdam. But it will not be our last! We are checking out all the the smaller restaurants around the Dam Square and found this small eatery. Unfortunately the men who worked tonight sat in the back on their phones while the one lady tried to handle everything on her own. The steak was cooked well in our triple steak entree. The fries came out nice and crispy and the salad was passable. Overall it was overpriced for the service that we received and, unfortunately, the best thing that we had was the appetizer Bittenballs (which we had read in a review before coming to Amsterdam were definitely worth trying -- they were delish).

Spare rib is very dry and i hope it's not being reheat to serve. Dont feel preparedly fresh for me. Only eat 2.5 rack out of 5 ribs. Sorry if they prepared it fresh, but i don't taste like that. Adios

The food was delicious, we order ribs and lamb chops which came with a side salad and rice. The rice was amazing and the source that came with it. However i think we over paid for the plate of food even thou we enjoyed it. I will recommend if you gave extra money to spend if not there are other alternatives around the the street.

Shame on me that I didn’t check the Google rating before going in. A little bag of ketchup cost €1.90 each. Make sure that you check your CC receipt before signing it, because they entered a higher number than what is on the check.

Dief! They hire one different menukaart, Which show that alle saus and bread need to pay!!! Then They lied that We orded the bread..we were played and been forced to pay! Shameless dief! The most of all,to cheat on toeristen..!

We were here 3 weeks ago and as an argentinian i can say that the bife de chorizo was amazing, so tender and tasty. And the waiters were very nice 🤗

Steak on the menu looked much bigger than what I got. Barely any fries and salad. Felt like a tourist trap

The perfect place to eat in Amsterdam! Very cozy and great location. We had a delicious steak and the staff was very friendly and helpful(especially Robert). And the price was very decent. We highly recommend the place!

I came here in the evening first time. The dessert is beautiful and delicious. I'll come here again
