The experience was bad. We had to wait forever to order and the service wasn’t nice. We had a glass delivered to us with lipstick already on it and a fork with dried pasta sauce on it. The pasta was over cooked and mushy. Very saucy. Couldn’t eat it. Server didn’t even comment on throwing away full pasta dish. Everyone that ordered the pizza enjoyed it. At the end we ordered a kinder bueno pizza to share. Would not recommend. Bad service with all the problems was 100% not worth it.

A delicious Italian restaurant directly at our Motel One Hotel. The pizza was very tasty and the price was completely reasonable. We paid €30 for two people Unfortunately, the fresh lemonades were both far too sweet and therefore somewhat inedible. Interior was nice too :)

Nothing happy nor fast about it… we waited 40 min to receive a bland pasta swimming in watery cream/butter sauce… despite having two different plates, we had pretty’s much the same unimpressive pasta, which is difficult to achieve. How difficult can it be to cook half decent pasta? I’ll certainly not go back. The only reason for two stars is the waitress offering us a free dessert, though we didn’t have the patience to wait for it.

The tables were not clean and very worn. The salt shaker was missing, the pepper shaker was broken and the bottle of chili oil was empty. Apparently no effort is being made here. The pasta didn't taste like anything. Only the starter was okay.

Good and affordable Italian cuisine 👍 The five of us shared a starter, which was absolutely no problem 👍 Everyone ordered a really large and delicious pizza and a drink. Paid all together around 60 euros. Top food and top price 👍

A nice place for simple food for reasonable price, day out with the family, only our group was not wanted by the receiving waitress( we were with 8 people )she told us she had no space as the restaurant was half empty, as a friendly worker in the kitchen who was not aware of his previous colleague response gave us a table then the initial waiter still emphasized we needed to pay in 1 time for the whole group no separate bill, whilst i never indicated i would not pay in 1 go, not sure which assumptions were made as we are all brown people, not want to think of racism right away but at least weird, in the end the initial waitress did let me pay per table as we sat at 2 tables and overcharged me 10,- , the workers of this establishment do consist of a very diverse crowd all colors etc. this waitress was clearly not happy to serve us somehow

The food is good and the prices are good, but the service and disorganization is quite bad. We tried to go more than once thinking it would improve but every day we go the service gets worse. For now, I only recommend it if you're hungry and can't go to the center.

I really don’t understand why the place has such a low rating. The food (Spicy pepperoni pizza 🍕 and ceasar salad 🥗) were both delicious and the place really looks nice. The staff was also friendly and fast with service, so all good there as well. Would come back again for sure.

I needed a quick meal, and this place was open. I wasn't so sure about it as it looked like a private party went on in this place at the time, but asking the waiter he said they were.. and that i can take a sit in a specific section Atmosphere wise place looked nice but it was a children's party so there were kids running around and yelling which they all seem to be really happy which is great. But way too loud on the other 😅 Food wise I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese, The flavour was as good as the ready sauce from a can and the amount of ground meat was minimal that I am not even sure you can consider it a Bolognese. Service was quick but the waiter while the restaurant was completely empty with the exception of the children party and had 100 of empty table asked me to move to another table 🤷 after I already ordered. If he asked before while taking the order I would say fine.. but seriously? If you are planning a party for children i think they will have a lot of fun here, as an adult trying to grab a meal, felt unwelcoming and my specific dish wouldn't inspire me to come back

Tomato sauce on pizza is clearly the frozen kind, pasta was too salty. We arrived before 6, place was nearly empty. They asked if we’d reserved, said no, were placed at a high table at the back near the toilets and some screaming children. When we left place was still nearly empty. Large portions, lots of seating, cheapish prices, would still not come again.

Food is really not good (overcooked pasta with weird sauce). Service is slow. The only thing good is that it's cheap... I'm surprised some reviews say the food was tasty. They must have been on drugs or they where paid off....

It used to be a very good place. But something went wrong. Yesterday we went there. Apparently, you could only reserve the table. Fine, we went away and made an offer online. 2 pizzas. At the time it should have been ready I came to pick it up. But it wasn't. It took them 30 min to prepare it. I think they only started to cook when I came. During this time 4 different persons asked me what I'm waiting for. The last one asked which pizzas I'm waiting for. I told him 2 names. He went back and brought them. But when I came back home one of them turned out to be totally different.

The place looks nice and clean. The pizzas are dry, uninspired, meh.... you can taste tomato sauce from a can...but hey it's cheap.

If you're looking for a good, cheap Italian restaurant, then you may want to consider Happy Italy 🇮🇹 Amsterdam . This restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and offers a wide range of traditional Italian dishes, from pizza and pasta to salads and sandwiches, all at very reasonable prices. The service is great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant also serves some great Italian wines to accompany your meal. Happy Italy 🇮🇹 Restoraunt is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for an enjoyable, yet affordable Italian dining experience.

Nice little place next to our hotel while in Amsterdam. They have a lot of options for both pasta and pizza, and most of all, it is quite cheap. However, the taste of the pizza doesn’t suffer from that: it still taste pretty good. The food came pretty quickly, but service was overall not very memorable. Employees were courteous but always rushing around. For the vibe, it is more a chain restaurant serving good pizza and pasta. When we went, kids were running around the place, so it was a bit loud, but didn’t really bother us. Overall, will probably eat here again as it will help my wallet and it is pretty convenient.

Not a bad place, although there are a couple of nuances. The first is service. Don't expect good service here, although the food is tasty. In Happy Italy, the waiter may forget about your order and you will hopelessly wait 30 minutes for nothing. And the most delicious tiramisu will be served in a glass with mold. I am really disappointed and won’t come back here..

My family and I, a party of five, recently dined at this Italian restaurant, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. To start, the service left much to be desired. We were never offered a second drink, and there was no check-back to inquire about our meal. Additionally, the pasta, a hallmark of Italian cuisine, was overcooked, which was a letdown. However, the most concerning aspect was our interaction with our waiter, Marius. When we requested a split bill, Marius adamantly refused until we explained that we were regular customers, which seemed to irk him. Even when he eventually agreed, his lack of enthusiasm was evident. To make matters worse, our empty plates were left uncleared for over 25 minutes after we finished our meal. It’s evident that Marius is not capable of managing good customer service.” I should note that I’ve mentioned Marius’s name based on the restaurant receipt.

We had low to mid expectations based on previous reviews, but it was BAD. 5pm reservation, first meals came out at 18:30. By 19:30 we hadn't even received the other meals, apparently an "error in the system" didn't send the meals to the kitchen. Took 3 staff members to help and find out what was going on. Vegetarian meal came with chicken in and not even an apology, the waiter just said "I think you did order chicken". Totally uninterested staff. I feel uncomfortable leaving a bad review but this was definitely the worst restaurant experience we've had. Believe the reviews!

Delicious pizzas and helpful staff. I suggest you to make a reservation otherwise most probably you cannot find a table especially at the weekends

Totally unlucky experience. Food ok, Not so crowded but service was really slow. Long time to get the menu, food took long time. The staff dident look at the people and when we got the food we ordered drinks to the food. We asked 2 times to get something to drink with the food and when we had eaten the saff did tell us sorry but you will get it soon 15 min later we did get it. All the people looked to have the same situation. When it was payment time only cash worked. Bad experience.

Happy Italy is a chill restaurant, ideal for an after office improvised dinner / drinks. Food was good, prices were reasonable, and ambient is relaxed, promoting good conversation. Service is also good, but you get served by multiple people during your stay which turns it a bit confusing and, in some cases, can make sure request 'get lost'.

My to go place if I fancy an Italian dish when I'm in Amsterdam. Highly affordable but still good quality dishes. Well prepared by friendly staff who know their regular customers. Place is always clean and well maintained.

They were super busy but still looked after us pretty well. One thing about Happy Italy is that the portion never disappoints. The pasta of my wife didn't taste good as I remembered but my pizza did. Pretty decent for a Italian chain restaurant.

Five stars. Just because (sounds like) Dzjurd made my evening. I entered late, tired and moody and left with a big smile on my face. People make the difference. The food? I had pizza chicken pesto, tasty and it did the job. Not really an Italian classic though. The deliciously looking pastry I'll share with my colleague tomorrow. Thank you, تشکر

We had two types of pasta. I had carbonara and it was the worst I ever had. My husband pasta was good. The restaurant looks very nice, lots of space and big tables. We really liked that they have a play area for kids. Service is ok.

Visited the restaurant at 16:00 on Sunday. Although it was almost empty until 18:00 complained a lot because we didn't have reservation. But at the end we were able to sit and eat there. The food was good, the waiter kind and friendly. But the shock came at the end as he didn't allow us to split bill in two, so that we pay with two credit cards. Only one receipt per table, he said.

Pizza was good, and great size. Staff was quite rude. We arrived, did not give us even 2 minutes to think drinks and food and they were already asking, as if they were rushing us to close the store earlier. Also, Google says that the restaurant closes at 22.00 but at 21.20 they were asking us to pay the bill and we couldn't order anything else.

I ate Pasta with my boyfriend here. The penne were very smooth and not that tasty. The Sauce was okay. The drinks were great. The staff was friendly but very stressed. The atmosphere was very loud and troublesome. Not that recommended.

It is a large family restaurant, with a play area for kids. Since I wasn't with mine I found the place noisy. Food was only okay. Portions were good but I found the mozzarella a bit salty and the carbonara was overcooked. Nevertheless is still a convenient family restaurant.

They have a small kids play area which is so useful if you have young kids. The place is nice and big. So many vegetarian options. I think it was the only place I found on my 1 month Europe trip with so many vegetarian options. Food was good too.

Very good, honest pizza. Germans: this pizza is comparable pizza venues run by Italian sub to pizza in Germany, somewhat thin crust, lekker. Beer for decent prices. I'll come back

One of the good places still left in RAI.. As always it has good food at reasonable prices. Parking at location is only under Dirk and Action mini mall and is expensive. Better to walk 100m from RAI metro station than by car.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
