Honestly do not book this hotel. Worst service ever. I have an issue with my reservation and they are not flexible at all. They have no monitored phone number or concierge so you are forced to email only. They have spammed me with 15 emails on instructions for my room and check in that are very messy and unclear and unnecessary to mail me so many times. The front desk service is outsourced to a 3rd party booking company. No personal touch. And they are rude. The general inflexibility when it comes to travel which is 1 month away and strict no refund for any reason policy is just not the market standard for hotels. Especially in the age of covid. Buyer beware.

The code based entry system is more convenient than a key, so I liked that. Fridge with cold drinks was a nice touch. The dirty underwear from the previous guest was less of a nice touch. The WiFi password being written down wrong was also something we had to address. The safe was still locked by the previous guest so we couldn't use it without contacting the owner. The aircon sounded like it was Diesal powered and leaked over the floor. And the sofa and arm chairs in the reception room had some very questionable stains on them, these were not spilled drinks... See for yourself in my photos (both normally visible and under a (UV) Black light.

My husband and I stayed in the suite on the second floor. It is a very spacious room. Very comfortable bed and sofa bed. Excellent pillows. Great location at the 9 streets. Most importantly, the hosts, Merel and Susan we're very friendly and gracious. They promptly responded to our emails. There's no elevator. This was not a problem for us. It might be for someone who cannot climb stairs. However, we found Merel had already taken our heavy luggage to the room when we returned from a stroll at check in time. We would definitely stay here next time in beautiful Amsterdam.

We stayed in the Wolvenstraat room. Totally great, unique, clean. It felt nicer than the 4 plus star hotel in Barcelona's Eixample area. The location was outstanding. There are stairs, so be prepared, but being right in the 9th district was crazy cool. Lot's of places to eat, drink, ride a bike. Merel was a great host. The entrance is a bit tight for luggage and just getting into the hotel. But that is more of a street thing versus a Hotel thing. Highly recommended.

Best hotel experience. To begin, the location is excellent and in the middle of a boutique district with interesting shops on every corner. The owners are delightful and friendly and were available in case of a small emergency (which they sorted in minutes). The room was very spacious and modern with all the amenities you could want. The shower was particularly appreciated. For all of the above, the cost seemed too good to be true; so if you’re in Amsterdam, I would recommend staying here.

Great hotel! Huge rooms! We just checked out this morning and absolutely loved it here! Plus you get free beer/coffee/tea every day with a fully stocked mini bar! The terrace in the back was awesome as well. Super convenient location!!!

This was such a wonderful place to stay. The hotel location was perfect as it was located next to a variety of cafe's, shops, and pubs. Susan was more than helpful in explaining how to use the keypad access system, making sure we had fresh towels, and making sure our room was tidy. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for an authentic Amsterdam experience.

Beautiful and exceptionally well appointed apartments in a fabulous location run by really wonderful people. From the rooms and info, to the welcome, to the little touches and attention to detail - this was honestly a perfectly memorable place to stay for all the right reasons. Thank you for making it special!

My wife and I really enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at this lovely hotel. Its decorated with an Amsterdam theme and the owners had a bottle of wine and yummy chocolate Easter eggs waiting for our arrival. The hotel is located within walking distance of everything you will want to experience in Amsterdam.

Fantastic small homley hotel . location is central to all that's crazy and fun about Amsterdam. It really felt like a small home away from home. The owner is a lovely Dutch women who made us feel so welcome and for that I say thank you so much and if I should ever visit again I'll definitely stay here once more.

We rented 2 suites & they were beautiful. The one had the cutest little deck. Beds were comfy! Very clean. Perfect locale!

😐 It is a large, somewhat impersonal, completely unshaded and extremely noisy campsite (we were in the tented section).Noisy because there is a large multi-lane bridge nearby, which is still very busy at night. Also noisy because of the "cigarette smokers". There are no rules and regulations - or if t...
