Very tasty Asian fusion dishes and a good drinks selection with friendly service. The chicken pakoras were especially delicious! Nice interior and big terrace. Dog friendly.

Could very well be the best cafe for brunch I’ve ever been to. I loved everything about it - the aesthetic, the food, the coffee, the staff. It’s so effortlessly cool and a real gem away from the busy side of Amsterdam. If you’re reading this, it’s worth going out of your way to come here.

Positive are vegan + veggie friendly menu and nice interior and local vibe, welcoming atmosphere. Other than that, service is very friendly, but clearly badly trained (waitress took away empty dishes while one of two persons was still eating. Ordered ice cafe, milk was already served in it.. normally you ask whether it’s needed beforehand.) Food tasted like fast food. Brunch menu limited, and only consisting of savory food - no sweets. (More like a lunch menu to me.) offering sweet tasting waffles with deep fried mushrooms instead of a normal sweet version is quite weird, especially if it tastes very bland. The rendang sandwich tasted and looked like fast food. I feel bad after having eaten here. All in all: nothing special, not recommended.

Exceptional food and extraodinary service! This was the most authentic experience during our stay in Amsterdam. It is a local somewhat hidden pearl in North Amsterdam with a lovely staff that makes you feel so welcome. The place itself is beautifully decorated with a mix of art from various music genres and cultures that define what they stand for - truly authentic. Great food! You should try the Cong You Bing which will surely apeal to all food lovers :)

Our first stop everyday before starting the day in Amsterdam. We were staying at the hotel close to the Restaurant and had coffee and beers every day a the terrace. The staff was very friendly and they had this amazing beer from draft which picture I have included in the review.

The food was not good, very salty and not nutricious. It was calm, so the staff was having a loud conversation among themselves which could be heard over the top of loud music. For some reason the girl working the restaurant had to use all her force when she rammed the empty bottles in the bin, which is in the middle of the cafe. I always like eating in a place with unexpected loud noises. Like other reviewers mentioned, my plate was taken away when my tablemate was still eating (maybe they have a shortage).

Great place! Good food, selection of beers and really helpful and friendly staff. Definitely recommend. Prices a tiny bit high for the main course portions, but the quality is really good.

For the perfect neighbourhood feel. Kid's corner in the back, soulful music in the background, delicious beverages and tasty Asian cuisine. This is a place to stick around in the weekend, inviting friends over because you just don't feel like leaving and go home at the end of the day with a smile on your face, realizing that this was a perfect one.

I'll start with the positive: Some of the best French fries I've ever had. Delicious. The rest was not good... First of all, the service was lacking. The staff was friendly but the service was almost non existent. The worst part was that it took 1 hour 20 mins to get our food. The place was packed and yet there was only 1 chef in the kitchen working all by himself. To make it worse, I watched the chef and he showed no urgency whatsoever and took his time making the food. He was completely oblivious to the fact that it was super busy and people were waiting way to long for their food. The food was just okay. The fries were terrific but the rest was really lacking flavor and taste. Everything was underseasoned. I don't think I would go back

This is a place to linger and enjoy lovingly made delicious slow food in a laid back, friendly atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and service good. What other reviews say about a long wait is true but it’s worth it! There’s only one chef, the owner, who you can see cooking at the side of the room which gives it a fun intimate vibe. Wine was excellent and the food was just great!! There were six in our group and we polished off every morsel - the spring rolls and gyozas we had as starters and the amazingly fresh, flavoursome mains. An explosion of taste in every bite. I was glad it worked out so well since I’d chosen the place for the group based just on a recommendation. They certainly delivered and I’ll certainly be back!
