Club Smokey in Amsterdam is a decent club that offers a great night out. During our visit on a Sunday night, we were pleasantly surprised to find a good crowd still making their way in. Despite having to wait for a couple of hours, the atmosphere inside made it worth it. One of the standout features of Club Smokey is that entry was free for us as a couple when we arrived around 11pm. This was a nice perk and added to the overall positive experience. The staff members were friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. The club itself provided a vibrant and lively ambiance. The music was energetic, and the dance floor was well-maintained. The lighting added to the overall atmosphere and created an exciting environment for dancing and socializing. Staff were very friendly and prices were also very cheap, location was great and the atmosphere was amazing! Would highly recommend visiting here!

We came here around 12.00 am. No other customers at all. Only us. We ordered a fruit smoothie and a milkshake. The staff here honesty is bored and a little rude. Not kind for sure

Yesterday we’ve been pushed out for no reason from a security guy, he pretended to have warned us more than once to do things we haven't done and we lost almost most of the event we wanted to attend and we obviously paid for. First of all, check the security. We tried to discuss diplomatically with the bouncer but kicking us out became even more his personal mission for the night. We were not drunk and we didn't bother anybody. Also other friends of our group tried to explain our point and deal with him (in Dutch), nevertheless, he didn't want to listen but only push us out. Secondly, since we couldn't enjoy the ADE event we paid for, we'd like to ask for a refund of the tickets. Last point, but not because it's less important, I believe it's quite unfair make somebody pay for an entrance/event ticket + locker and then ask also 2,50 € to use the toilette (in awful conditions by the way...). I'll be waiting for a kind feedback. Met vriendelijke kabbani.

They asked for 60 euros each and once we gave the money they just kicked us out. Dont go this place is a scam.

Club entrance fees are charged according to peak hours. there is no set fee policy and security is very rude. they are very rude to customers even seen fighting with customers.

Lovely service and staff were eager to assist. Toilets aren't ideally located considering the steep steps but overall feel was comfortable and enjoyable

Rude gate staff. Music was random. Toilet staff was the worst. Charged me twice by mistake and wasnt willing to refund. I even showed her my account statement instantly. Tourist trap place!

Thief security , last weekend my girlfriend went to this club before me and I arrived half an hour late, although my girlfriend came in front of the entrance door, but a fat security guard stopped me and said that you have to pay even though My girlfriend was waiting for me in front of the entrance door, the worst club, if you doubt, you can check the hidden camera on 26/2/2023. Never go to this club, it is a scam club, be careful.

The only bar in Amsterdam that doesn’t air the game on time !!! The bartender wouldn’t understand that the channel was wrong so we started watching the World Cup finals 5 minutes late !! Only one young bartender is nice, the others deserve another adjective. The price is also super expensive, 22€ for a pitcher and the beer isn’t good.

Rude staff, served me an alcohol free beer by accident and then wouldn't change it for a regular beer and demanded payment for it. Other staff heard talking about 'idiot customers' outside. Won't be going here again.

We expected to drink something and have shisha. However, the waiter was very rude and he demanded the payment in advance although there is no reason. Definitely not advised!

We asked for water AFTER ordering alcoholic drinks at the bar. They brought bottled water. We said we want tap water. He said no. So we said no to the bottled water. Bartender took us outside with the bouncer and told us we’re wasting his time and not to come to the club if we’re broke. Ridiculous.

We had a single cocktail here. We sat down outside, staff came by quite fast and our drinks were delivered quite fast as well, despite it being quite busy at the time. Slightly pricier than at a regular bar, but not too crazy. Environment can be a bit loud due to drunk tourists, and you might smell weed as there's a coffeeshop next door. If those things don't bother you and you just want a quick drink, this seemed to be a fine place to go. (Based on our single visit)

Club Smokey iş a choice of tourist who want to have fun after midnight. Crowd and music quality is not quite good but ıt's ok if you wanna meet new people. Cover charge was like 6 Euros but this price may change depends on security guys at the door... Cheers guys.

This club was awful. We got kicked out by security because the owner’s son was jealous of us getting girls. Don’t go here. It’s a corrupt business.

Heard that is one of the only ones where you can smoke and have a drink so I thought it was cool. The milkshakes looked pretty good but missed having one. The annoying parts was that the bathroom is 50 cents and I bought a joint of "hash n weed" but when I broke it apart to make my own I realized it had tobacco in it. Music is kinda loud too but good songs some of em.

Came here to end the night from a Pub Crawl. Good music, people were also pretty chill. Pay to use the toilets, unfortunately. Most of the other bars and clubs I had been to had free toilets, so that was a bummer at the end of the night. But other than that, place is pretty cool.

Great club, not too big, but the atmosphere feels like hosting a party among friends at home. The staff was polite, and the security was like your own brothers. Overall, I recommend it, you won't regret it!

I get to the bar and I ask the barman for "Dos tequilas" and he went mad ar mad and he started to speak me to me dutch, I repeat my order my orden in english but he was speakingn Louder dutch. I have to repeat my order several times in english saying "two tequilas", but he refused to speak at me only but in dutch. I refused to be in place again like this when I have face intolorence because my lenguage, the place is good, music is good, but treated rude just because i spoke spanish once and totally was atendet differently from other speaker english is not a place i would recommend.

The worst place in the world. Full of druck and past out people. The security is super unfriendly and ca kick you out just for using the toilet. Never coming back

Pretty good location for going to diffrent clubs/bars. Never a horrible line. A nice intimate space. A good place for younger guys/girls.

The staff is awful. Be careful there is a lot of thieves in it. I lost my wallet and I wasn’t the only one who did. Oh by the way the bodyguards are also thieves be careful ;) to avoid absolutely!

Club music sucked tbh, skipped all the good hits for some sappy dutch carnival songs. Almost felt like i was at a circus. Drinks are super overpriced, and the “usual” customers there are very racist. If you aren’t the classic blondie with blue eyes, you WILL receive stares from everyone. There are amazing clubs in Amsterdam, but this is definitely not one of them. What a shame.

Nice club with a wide range of music, from pop to edm and it isn't too small. Beers are a bit expensive, because a small one costs € 3.70

Staff was so rude and the club had a very discriminative entrance policy. Also women and men were charged differently for the entrance. not to mention the music is terrible.

The music was ok, but at the entrance I could already hear the music was quite loud, so I asked for ear buds. The lady at the entrance laughed in my face before saying the most insincere no. Also.. after having to pay at the entrance you also have to pay 50 cents every time you use the bathroom, ridiculous!

Not worth it. Bad staff and security. I recommend the other clubs nearby where there actually is friendly staff and security.

Absolutely dead atmosphere. They pay a woman to sit in the toilets and charge 50p to go to to the toilet, dispute paying over the odds on drinks.

Brilliant night in here last weekend! Music was decent and atmosphere was buzzing. Security guards where sound ! Smokeys had decent shot deals to! We will be sure to be back here next time!

So me and my partner come Amsterdam ALOT. We would spend most of the evening here with a shisha and sit outside. Went last week and it was lovely to have "a shisha as sweet as me" from the lovely bloke who always serves us. Until further into our holiday we go mid-day (literally so quiet) and on the door is 2 security (1 man and 1 woman) I smile and ask about us getting our shisha to which the woman comes in my face demanding to search me. i say "dont you even want to see my ID?" she said no and before i could say well ill just leave she starts pulling stuff out my pockets. Then the bloke said we couldn't come in as my partner was wearing trackies (wore them every other 25 times we have been) Never saw this security before and it seemed the female one was on a massive power trip and really rude.

Yesterday night the dj set was amaging, so great vibes💚 Water too expensive, why don let people having a free glass of can water? It would make it a greater club
