Nice graffiti everywhere, you will be amazed by roaming around in this area. In evening it’s beautiful to sit and relax in some of the restaurants

All good. The place is huge and very arty. There is the Graffiti museum (a bit expensive for what you got to see) but the rest is free and you can walk by and admire certain piece of street art

Worth a wander if you have some time to spare, best experienced without a strict time constraint or agenda as every random corner may yield some funky artistic surprises! There are some nice restaurants and cafes to hide out from the rain as well!

Oh I love this heritage. It is so strange to be here at this area. You can feel the hard work, the process and production of ships. Now it is a very creative area for events and party. During the ADE festival it was a very special area. Into the woods…

As soon as you get off the free ferry that you can take from the back of Amsterdam central station you feel like you have landed in Graffiti land. There are unique, super skilled mural all around the place, on top, in front, around, on the back even close to the other side of the water next to the tattoo shop. There is a huge space with legal walls to express yourself. You can be an artist or just an amateur and use your spray can on the containers where everyone sketch. Graffiti fun organize party and workshops there and at the end of the event you can take at home your graffiti panel, your creation with their help😁. If you love urban street this is a place not to miss.

Huge hangar with art exhibits. Don't miss the upper floor where there are changing exhibitions. The complex also has a graffiti museum and good restaurants. Getting here with a ferry across the river. The ferry ride is free. It is recommended to visit here. Entry free

Great place for artistic persons. Spacious place with a lot of graffiti. Some construction work is going on still. Very windy. Free ferries from main city.

NDSM Amsterdam is a vibrant and exciting destination that offers visitors a unique and unforgettable experience. This former shipyard has been transformed into an open-air playground, complete with stunning graffiti art, buzzing cafes, and a lively atmosphere. One of the standout features of NDSM Amsterdam is the incredible graffiti art that adorns the walls of the buildings. The art is diverse and colorful, ranging from abstract shapes and patterns to intricate portraits and scenes. Visitors can spend hours exploring the different pieces and admiring the skill and creativity of the artists.

A great place to check out. The Barbie peep show was hilarious. The restaurant next door has great food and drinks, plus the inside is so pretty.

One of my absolutely favorite areas of Amsterdam. The Straat Museum of street art is fabulous as is the NDSM space next door. We also had a drink and a light meal at PLLEK. And if we had time, I would have loved to check out the FARALDA CRANE HOTEL (pic below).

The former shipyard has become an arts venue. There is a unique hotel, a former gantry crane has been turned into a hotel and there is a graving dock with very wide sluice gates.

A nice place to visit away from big crowds. It’s also great to see the pace being used by multiple business, bar inside and surrounding dock land infrastructure

Off the beaten path, and totally worth it. Take the free ferries and ride your bikes throughout Amsterdam Noord. It’s a unique experience your whole family will love.

Visited the place on Flee Market Sunday. Great atmosphere, but be prepared for a hefty €6 entrance fee and the lack of card acceptance at some sellers. Still a good fun and hidden treasures can be purchased here.

A very confusing experience. Although we arrived in the middle of a week morning, we expected to see something. In practice, we felt a bit like we were in a messy studio of artists and the place is not the most ready to receive people from outside. Lots of potential. beautiful place

Amazing grafitti! Amongst the best in the world. Definitely worth a visit. The museum is also part of the go city card. Take it for free access. Cost is 20 euros otherwise.

Awesome street art and art studios within the old ship building factory. You can walk around most the of the building for free and there is another warehouse next door with huge art exhibit but that costs money. The food and beer selection at the Ijlver restaurant was amazing too!

It is a nice place to visit for a few hours. And if you like going to a flea market, you can combine your visit with one of the largest flea markets in Europe held every month close to the NDSM.

Very cool creative place. Well worth checking out. Everywhere you look there’s something new to see. And some amazing graffiti.

Cool, but like many times, more hype then real awe. It’s definitely a nice place to visit and the fairies are free to get there.

I love this area, very creative. In NDSM you will get an industrial vibe mixed with all sorts of artsy things. I would highly recommend if you want to avoid the typical Amsterdam downtown tourism.

  • 5/5 Conrad C. 1 year ago on Google
Positively surprised by this alternative hotspot. Don't miss the current Odyssey 2.0 exposition and get lost in the industrial jungle. Must be cool to visit during an event!

This is THE place to go if you want to do graffiti.. Legally.. We did a corporate activity there, sprayed our logo. It was an interesting contrast between corporate and "anarchy". The place is flooding with creativity, and the young people in charge have great stories to tell about this under-rated art.

Awesome place. Locals took us there, nice spot for artists. Is still a little bit empty but the places where you can eat and drink are lovely.

One of the most important cultural and publici places in Amsterdam. There u can see and meet a lot of contemporary Artists, achitects, social activists and kunstalaars. You can eat in Plekk, amazing restourant made by shop containers, see exibitions or visit Streetart museum. To ndsm you ll come with ferry from centraal station

So vibe, nice people, wide range of food and drinks establishments. Boat from Central Station takes about 15min. Went to the market... Will certainly be going back to this area frequently. Great for kids as well.

If you're visiting Amsterdam, this is a MUST see! So beautiful. Give yourself a couple hours to just walk around and experience all the art down each alleyway, wish I had more time here.
