Hours of long queue even if you have tickets. Super rude security dude (who should totally be fired for making me and my girlfriends feel so threatened and uncomfortable). Kind of a trashy venue, so many sweaty people grinding on each other. The music is good though I don't know if I would come back.

Really fun night out! We went there on a Friday around 11pm and shortly got in. Cool decor, multiple floors with very different music styles: I.e. afrobeats, commercial pop and deep house. Makes it easy to please a larger group. We went there as part of a bachelorette weekend and had a great time.

If you feel like gambling on your eve the NYX is the place. Note you can only win your eve back. Their lockers are slot machines. You buy a ticket, then wish to use the locker. You put the 2 Euros it cost to lock a locker however the locker doesn't lock... Now how much would the locker stage cost you? unknown. The staff may give you a silver coin but claim their rules say they can only do it once. I had to leave about 40 minutes after arriving, as it became unclear how much I need to spend to lock a locker. Contacting the club got no results. They won't take responsibility and yet again, a minor issue ruined an eve and showed this is a fraudulent venue. P.s. Might want to train your staff better at the bar... Top half of the beer cup was foam... 32 Euro per liter is a bad price.

Bought tickets for the Halloween party and got rudely taken from the line by security because in his opinion we weren’t dressed up well enough. A simple email stating, "we are in receipt of your message and will respond with more detail after we complete an investigation" would have sufficed. They failed to do that and instead chose to ignore me. And instead of reviewing security footage to see what happened, they decided to rely on "witness" statements. I guess this allowed them to lie better, as I have outlined below. The Owner's response is riddled with lies. The security personnel FOLLOWED ME to the locker as I tried to collect my belongings. He then dragged me and pulled me to the ground FROM THE INSIDE OF ESTABLISHMENT OUTSIDE (I did not slip outside due to the rain as the owner claimed). It is a shame that this establishment is defending this abhorrent behavior instead of using it as a training opportunity for their staff and offering me an apology. I, too, spoke with other personnel who told me they were appalled by this individual's behavior. Of course, I was upset by the way I was treated - who would not be after being treated in a manner that not even animals should be treated. The people taking our tickets yesterday were very unnecessarly rude and they seemed to enjoy the authority they had over us.They wouldn't let us in because we were too many people even if we had valid tickets bought separately. Our friends that were also in a big group somehow did get in before us, so we had no idea why they singled us out. Not only did they not give us a valid explanation but they also were very unprofessional, as they increasingly got more hostile towards us. Very disappointed with NYX as always used to enjoy going there. They advertise as being a safe accepting place but that doesn't seem the case.

Literally the maddest club I've ever been to. Every single room was insane. The toilets on the top floor are also another dance/music floor & then through a little passage you get to a rave cave. It was incredible. Highly recommend.

Amazing decor, great sound systems (tailored for each room) and loads of atmosphere - there are several rooms to explore. Security was friendly + professional and the crowd was had a great vibe. Worst experience we had yesterday night. I went with a group of 7 girls to have a fun night out. We bought our tickets, waited in line and got rejected to enter for no good reason. The staff was very unfriendly, unreasonable and arrogant. There was no point of communicating. The only thing they were able to say is 'it's on the website'. By that they mean the sentence that they don't allow groups more then 4 people. Very very "inclusive". Hi everyone. My phone was STOLEN in this club last night between the hours of 1:47-2:15 am. Staff (including the current manager who I spoke to briefly tonight) were quite hostile and ENTIRELY unconcerned as if their establishment had nothing to do at all with my phone incident. Don't get me wrong, I totally understand that their staff and the business themselves are not directly responsible for the theft, but they could have been slightly more accommodating in a million other ways. They said "its not here" BEFORE they even checked their lost and found. They said "just check ilost" nonchalantly to remove any effort on their part. I'm not asking them to totally upheave their club just to find my phone, but a little bit of consideration and acknowledgment would have gone a long way. It's a huge establishment with 3 floors and tons of nooks and crannies, I HIGHLY doubt they did a full fledged sweep of the place. I find it ABSURD that they concluded it was NOWHERE in the club when I know for a fact it is. Enjoy my phone! I considered filing a police report against your establishment but I don't see that working out. Thanks for nothing. Hope you enjoy making your visitors feel totally uncared for. FOLLOW-UP: Confirmed my phone was stolen in here! How unsafe of an establishment is this that they can’t assist me in any conceivable way? When I came to Amsterdam I search for a cool gay friendly club. I found this one (supposed to be like a gay place, also situated in the gay street) and has been really disappointed… the music was really pop, which is not my kind, and I felt super awkward being there as a queer because I was surrounded by very straight people and especially annoying men. Also, I bought a glass of water for 3,80€ which is super expensive. I would not recommend if you are queer and searching for a LGBTQ+ friendly place. Also not recommend if you doesn’t like pop music from 2016.

The rooms with music are decent, but there is no security going around the rooms if something happens, the entrance security barely look in your bag if you have drugs or anything on you, when we wanted to smoke at the ground there is a door that you can get out to smoke but when we wanted to get in again he pushed us back and told us we had to stay at the que again, the same que with people just coming into the club. Instead of telling me “wait at the que you can’t come in”, you could be a security and search for my bag, see I have nothing and let me in.
