A
small
local
indoor
shopping
centre
located
in
the
suburb
area
"Banne
Buiksloot"
in
Amsterdam
North.
It
is
well
equipped
for
day-to-day
use
with
four
supermarkets
(a
budget
and
one
more
upper
market
and
two
ethnic
oriented
ones/Turkish
and
Oriental),
a
library,
a
dry
cleaner/repair
shop,
nails
store,
a
cheese
store,
fish
market,
butcher,
bakery,
a
snack
bar
and
two
drugstores
etc.
The
two
main
supermarkets
are
open
for
7
days
a
week
till
20.00.
The
best
TIP
for
this
centre
is
the
public
library.
It
organises
lots
of
activities
and
really
tries
to
be
there
for
the
community.
Check
it
out
for
things
to
do
with
children
or
even
senior
people.
The
stock
of
most
shops
is
quite
basic
but
well
equipped,
although
it
lacks
a
broad
range
of
organic
goods.
Although
hopes
are
that
one
of
the
empty
retail
spaces
might
be
used
one
day
to
cater
this
specific
need
as
well.
Also
a
place
to
get
good
coffee
place
(a
barrista)
is
missed,
yet
there
are
a
few
places
around
to
get
your
shot
but
not
really
aimed
at
urban
visitors.
All
over
customer
service-wise,
expect
a
lot
of
Dutch
style
of
most
shop
employees:
quite
direct
and
sometimes
harsh.
This
shopping
centre
is
quite
new
and
is
the
renovated
successor
of
a
local
centre
that
has
been
torn
down
a
few
years
ago.
It
has
two
entrances
and
has
as
a
benefit
for
people
who
come
by
car
that
they
can
park
for
free
for
one
hour.
