Great upscale supermarket in a very decent mall, with Japanese and Korean products. Next to that they have freshly prepared food and in non-COVID times also a small restaurant. The variety is huge, the supermarket is very modern, clean and pretty. Staff is very friendly and everything is as it should be. Yes, it’s more expensive, but that is fine and worth it. Pro tip: parking in the garage below is free for the first hour or so, so you have all the time to do you shopping here.

It was nice to be able to visit a store with such a big variety of Korean and Japanese products, as many stores near me only have a small section. I found several products I've missed from my trips to Korea. The store looks clean and organized. I also like the fact they had freshly prepared products. One down side is that the products are rather expensive.

Shilla This cute little supermarket is the place to be, if you need Korean or Japanese drinks/food/snacks. Ofcourse the prices are a little bit high if you compare it to a Dutch supermarket but hey these are imported beverages and supplies, so you can expect it. If you ever went to these two countries then you will definitely have a throwback feeling walking through this place!

Love this place except the prices. Some variety of Asian food products, plus cooked food. Buying here occasionally, mostly gyoza and Korean triangles for quick bites. I would love to learn more about how to cook Asian food for sure. Service is always excellent.

Love this place and seeing this place grows from a small tiny shop to one of the biggest stores in the city selling Japanese/Korean and some Asian foods and groceries! Visit it almost everyday since years!

I was very happy to find Melon Pan. They also have Taiyaki filled with red bean paste. It is pretty expensive but so worth it! I just wish they also had Black Thunder!

Love the fresh mochis section (my fav is Chestnut cream!!) And if its nearly closing time,, the snack section behing the registers sometimes has discounts! Onigiris must try! Bread section usually gets a refill on the thursdays! Curry bread, matcha cornets and the popular Melon pan all available at Shilla! Its a very nice Korean supermarket in Amsterdam! I go there very occasionally if I am nearby for a quick snack of fresh Kimbab. And they have a wall with all sorts of Ramen/Ramyeon noodles. You can also go there from 12pm till 3/4pm for lunch!

I often visit Shilla for the Korean / Japanese product purchase no matter how it takes for me to take 3 hours for a round trip. A wide range of Korean products which cannot be easily found in Asian grocery stores. Satisfying

The best shop for Korean ingredients in Amsterdam. There are a handful of things I wish they carried that they currently don’t, but overall their selection is amazing. I’ll always make the trip out to come to this wonderful store.

One of my favourite places to visit in Amsterdam 🥹 The daifukus are the best! 😭 Reasonably priced products as well. Highly recommend!

Really nice place where you can find most of the ingredients you will need. I loved the already prepared section. The freshly made kimchi is the best + best onigiri I had, from Amsterdam. However, I have only one improvement to suggest: it would be nice and useful if I could find there fresh kimchi, but not so spicy, since I can't eat that spicy. The one I could find was too spicy. The store looks very clean and cosy.

This is a good Japanese & Korean supermarket. One can get almost all the basic products and many times they bring new products as well. The supermarket is located in a shopping mall and quite clean. But sometimes they run out of products and have to wait to get them.

Amazing onigiri! One of few places (if not the only) where you can get curry bread & melon pan! A lot of products from Korea & Japan that you can't get in other Asian supermarkets 👍🏼

Big store, nice to see the products, I hope they have scoopable shrimps still, that was so nice!! Very gross green tea for money and I love the products on the shelves I'm going to try them very soon.. Already tried the crisps and I liked them. Good store!

Great place to get the essentials for the Asian kitchen. Also nice non-food items for kitchen and dining. And ready to eat items which are a bit pricey but fresh and delicious.

Great little supermarket, full of typical korean products. Also some great to go and ready made food. I personally go to the freezer a lot for some meats

Was dissapointed with selection of fresh produce. After reading the reviews I expected a well stocked store. Overall was ok but most if not all dry ingredients can be bought at many supermarkets at much lower prices. Just arrived from Korea to live in Holland hoping to find home products. Jokpal was really bad quality, mandu were not steamed enough. Prepared food is expensive and not acceptable quality. Don't think I'll be going back again. Not worth the drive.

Bento available, nicer than the other nearby Japanese store. I like the Korean Spicy Chicken (7.90 eu). It's a small korean supermarkets with nice design and pricey items. Empty carton boxes were overal in the store.

Has mainly Korean groceries. Thought a bit pricey but not sure since don't usually shop for Japanese or Korean ingredients. The cafe restaurant sushi was delicious! The Dolsot Bimibop was yummy to o. Love the free unlimited tea. Pay at the main cashier first.

Perfect supermarkt to get all the products you miss from Korea and Japan. Large selection of food and drinks. Small restaurant where you can order and eat some food. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking at the shopping center and they have a second shop within the center where you can buy all sorts of alcohol.

Good place to get your basics for Japanese (and Korean) meals. Nice table of snacks, including onigiri, daifuku and Korean fried chicken. The daifuku are very good. I buy my thinly sliced pork or beef here to make nabe or gyudon. Try some of their Japanese or Korean ice cream!

😐 Spaceous jumbo with large assortment which is comfortable during grocery shopping. 😐 This location was pretty clean, had a good selection of groceries, pre made foods, etc. The problem was they didn't accept credit cards. This was as of May 2023(!!). Other locations let us pay with credit cards. It's hard for tourists to not be able to use credit cards, but luckily there was an AT...

🫤 I think the place looks really nice. However I can’t believe that a brand that sell the image of sustainable business is at the same time really good for plastic package. It seems totally unnecessary that almost every product is packed with plastic. Please guys try to see good examples such as Hisbe...
