The service is extremely slow, more than 1 hour waiting for our lunch. The “Prosciutto” was also really bad and the pasta was not well seasoned. An extra is that even the Pepsi was terrible, it was one of that Pepsi from machines and it tasted really bad. It’s really unfortunate that I have to give this review since I love Italian food, but I don’t recommend this place at all.

We had a great meal here in the Red Light District at Pasta Pasta. No problem with the service or the food. Service was okay. The chef was very nice and came over and spoke with us and explained some of the dishes we had questions about. My wife had what they call canolies and I had a spicy pasta.

The food was very bland. We specifically asked for spicier food, but it was definitely not hitting our expectations from an Italian place. Even after we asked for more spices so we can try to adjust to our own taste, we felt that it was a bad idea to dine there. The drinks were also overpriced.

Good pizzas and service but toilets were not fine. I tried pizza diavolo and it tasted good. The crust was also nice. The hygiene can be definitely improved. The drinks were fine and card payments are accepted. The food arrived rather quickly than expected. I would not recommend this place unless you're really hungry.

Unfortunately, the female server we had seemed a bit unmotivated and almost unfriendly. Additionally, the drinks were a letdown, especially the Fanta priced at a steep 3.90€ for a mere 0.2l, which tasted more like water. This pricing was indeed questionable. Now, onto the food. The Spaghetti Bolognese, Carbonara, and Gnocchis were good but not outstanding. Each dish was flavor wise okay but still a bit meh. The portions may appear small due to the plates, but they are roughly enough for a meal. The prices for the food were reasonable, especially when considering the quality and taste of the dishes. Despite the unfriendly service and drink issues, the food and "fair" pricing at Pasta Pasta make it a restaurant that you don’t have to visit again -there are hundreds of other restaurants nearby worth visiting more.

Definitely a tourist trap restaurant, but the food was good. It is open late, till around 12 not till 1.

Good prices for Italian food. Also the place looks very nice inside. Highly recommend the focaccia with tomattoe. The bread was warm and super tasty. We had also tomatoes soup and spaghetti with salmon.

The food and service was great here. I enjoyed a glass of Prosecco with a salad and a pasta dish in a lovely spot at the window. Highly recommend this spot for a nice relaxing meal.

The salad was served with no dressing at all- dry and tasteless. The garlic bread was just a plain bread with some garlic butter on the side- I told to the waitress I did not expect to get plain bread and would not eat that- she just left it there and charged me full price for it. Poor service poor food.

The pasta was ok but the prices are relatively high. For this, the portions could really be a little larger. We would also have to wait a little longer for the food, because the store was very full But for this it was ok. Service was also ok and we were quickly brought a map and were asked for drinks. All in all ok but also nothing special.

Looks like a tourist trap in a tourist trap street. Is actually not bad at all. The food is surprisingly decent and the prices are in the expectable range of the area. The toilets could use a little makeover.

Surviving due to tourists! Terrible bland food. Worst bruchetta, chopped tomatoes on bread simple cut bread, no seasoning at all, no toasting, bland! an insult to Italian food! Pizza was also depressingly bland. I've had better frozen pizza. AVOID this place!

Amazing and fresh food with a warm and cozy atmosphere but the service wasn’t that great. The girls were easily distracted and very chatty, it took us about 20 minutes to get the bill because they were too busy chatting with each other.

We were looking for a convenient place to have dinner near our hotel and stumbled upon pasta pasta. This place is in the center of Amsterdam, close to very popular attractions. The food was very filling and yummy. We’d also like to give a special shoutout to the man who runs the operation, Salim! He was extremely caring and made sure that we’re satisfied not only with the food, but also the service. For anyone who’s in Amsterdam, please give this place a shot as it will not disappoint you!

Food: bland, plus not accurate. I ordered a foccacia and instead received a pizza dough with a sprinkle of oregano and a drizzle of oil. Service: they drop you the menu and forget about you. The staff is not attentive to the tables. Atmosphere: very loud, staff shouting at each other. A woman was near our table preparing the cutlery sets and throwing them at the basket, with an very unpleasant nuissance.

Delicious food. The Pastas we taste were unique and value for money. Nice place and friendly staff. Must visited place in Amsterdam. For sure we will visit again when will be there

We ordered Vegetarian ravioli, and tomato soup. The tomato soup was very fresh and creamy. Ravioli was a little bland, but when I added pepper and salt it tasted great!

I had so delightful lunch at Pasta Pasta. carbonara was so rich and cheesy as it should be! and rucola salad was freshly simply delicious. The staff was kind friendly welcoming. Rainy day…and a bit cold but I had my delicious meal at warm cozy place. highly recommended.

We’re recommended Pasta Pasta by some American friends on the train. They talk a big talk to hype up the restaurant, but we found it pretty mid. Had worse, had much better.

Not the best quality. The spinach-ricotta rigattoni was flavourless, plain tomato sauce without any spice, the filling wasn’t much better, still without any spice just bitter. The carbonara was ok, but I had way better ones. The toilet was bad, smelt like broken pipe and pee. The server came with our check, put down the card reader in front if us, and started serving new people while he was (suppost to be) serving us. 40 euros for 2 beers and 2 pastas is overpriced, especially with this quaility. Would not reccomend.
