Great arthouse cinema with a good collection of films showing in the Cinema. Must go for arthouse movie fans. No cash payment is accepted but somehow I got my debit card stolen and I only have cash at that time. But the receptionist was nice enough to pay the movie ticket for me by card and I just pay her back by cash. Very nice place and will visit again for sure.

Like all the reviews say, this is a special spot in Amsterdam. It is a great place to watch a movie, there is a great vibe in the bar that serves really nice pizza and drinks before the movie. I am from abroad, so no popcorn in the theatre was a bit strange to me, but besides that I loved the time spent here.

Great art-house movie theatre, in the old Pathological-Anatomical Lab. Often has a mix of more alternative and classic movies. Off the beaten track in Amsterdam West. Has a really nice bar with good beers and seating as well.

The LAB111 theater is located in a quiet and pleasant area, the inside is designed with this vintage artsy vibe. Cool drink area before the start of the movie, and the movie screen is a nice size to enjoy the movie. My big pain point was the lack of coordination from the staff when people had to find seating. The staff relieved on a sign displayed on screen for customers to safely seat during the pandemic guidelines. But what should had been done, is for the staff to label the seating themselves and monitor if people are following the rules. There was also the problem of letting customers walk into the room during the start of the movie walking in the dark. Those people were randomly seating anywhere.

What an incredible place! A source of culture like no other, staff is amazing, so committed and friendly! The restaurant is so cool and comfy and open until midnight! Cinema is comfortable and excellent quality! Going here makes up for an amazing date and if you look around there's SO MUCH to see and do!

Stumbled across this theatre / bar and they also happened to be screening my favourite Michael Mann film in 4K. Places like this are so important, so glad I found this place. I will be back.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere!! It’s a super super cool hangout spot where the decoration guarantees a good time🤩 I was there for the 26th edition of the offscreen film festival and they were the perfect hosts for the evening!

Great place, always a treat to come here, good selection of curated movies! I However every time i have food & drinks at Strange Love its hard to miss how incredibly unfriendly the bar staff is, uninterested, ordering gets met with an attitude and they seem very displeased to be there. Understandable if they are understaffed, but not such a great experience for customers who come there to unwind and have a nice time.

Very good movie theater and expanding! Small rooms, very out of the ordinary screenings. They're easy and respectful. You can take drinks from the bar inside the movies. The only thing missing is popcorn 🍿😅

Great place! The bar/restaurant is great to meet friends and have a bite. The atmosphere is really chill, positive, artsy and cozy. You’ll feel at home. The cinema is also nice. Doesn’t have all the glitz and glamour of modern cinema (including popcorn) but I’d say if anything that gives it extra charm. Except the popcorn. I’d really like enjoyed some popcorn.

This place is amazing! I’ve been here three times and all of the visits made me realize how the people that work here just love film. I love how the food is named at the bar, the soundtracks playing in the cinema and the quality of films: ranging from new stuff to classics. I love how this cinema takes the chance to bring older movies back to the screen. Not just for Dutch people, but also for other with having the films being subtitles in English. P.s. I’m weirdly missing the smell of popcorn in this cinema (its essential, but this cinema compensates that with a lot else)

This cinema / restaurant / bar sets the gold standard. Their movie selection is incredible and never dull. It is the perfect match of international cinema and a few gold nuggets from Hollywood. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Great cinema in an unusual building (ex morgue or something). I love the alternative vibe of this place. They screen non mainstream movies plus they rerun older movies based on various themes and occasions, which is great if you missed them.

Nice food and drinks. The theatre (lab4) had comfortable seating, but the rear firing speakers were pretty hard to hear from the front couple rows of seats. The airconditioning also caused visible disturbances on screen which was mildly distracting.

Eclectic although style cinema with friendly staff. The seats can get uncomfortable after a while as there is no lumbar support so not ideal for long films like killers kf the flower moon for example (3hr30min)

I love the vibe of this place, it has a feeling of a DIY art space that just came into some financial backing. The theaters are cozy and modest, but the bar and restaurant have an air of slight fanciness to it. The programming is really diverse and the place overall just feels really fun, with a photo booth, pinball machine, artisanal beers in the vending machine and more! The restrooms are well maintained too.

Local cinemas are cool. Lab's mission to create a warm and creative space is successful so far. Food, drinks and small rooms to enjoy old classics and explore more. Bring your date, enjoy films.

A cat stole my friends chair. Cat was pretty chill. So was friend. Then we went to watch a movie. Killers of the Flower Moon. It sucked. Cat stayed, so you’ll have to check with her on the rest of the night. Overall a good experience though I wish I’d strayed with the cat.

Lovely cinema in Amsterdam! They often have old movies with English subtitles, making it easy to catch up with the classics! The bar is also great for a drink or a bite before or after the movie!

Cute bar but a bit claustrophobic because the windows are all closed. Horrible rooms for the cinema, unluckily: full at capacity (very annoying), and they are absolutely without any air flow, so not only a germs chamber (beware in winter) but also with no oxygen. I won't go back.

Charming movie theater with a very vibey bar. Went to see a sing along of Grease and had SO much fun. 100% recommend it for a night of fun if you're into the classic films.

Dr. Strangelove is the name of the resto at movie theater Lab111. All (sourdough!) Pizza's are named after movies. Like The Good, the Bad, and the Artichoke; Normagaddon or Bela Tartufo. Nice spacious place, pleasant staff.

Absolutely no air in the fully packed cinema rooms. We just had to leave after 20 minutes because it was suffocating inside. For over 10EUR a ticket we would have expected more quality and comfort. The bar looks nice inside, the food is good but there is again no air at all as all windows are closed and there is no functioning aeration system. Disappointing experience.

Cool place. Just a shame about the extremely grumpy bartender. Who was just extremely rude and unkind. Time for another job I think.
