Tourist attraction β€’ Museum β€’ Mill

πŸ‘πŸ‘ So great! A film will also be shown in English and then in German. Very interesting that without the windmills that used to be used as water pumps there would be no Netherlands. It's worth a visit! You can also go inside the mill and see how it works. €5 per adult is perfectly fine. People often mention windmill, nice, windmills,

Very nice windmill. Worth seeing with family. Lectures in 3 languages alternate on a large TV. Approx. 9 minutes each. So you don't have to wait long until the desired speech comes. The windmill can also be viewed from the inside, 3 floors up almost to the top. Staff very nice. Parking directly in front and free of charge. Entry not very expensive.

Really nice little museum showing off a functional windmill. You'll only need 30-60 minutes here but it's time well spent. Great video detailing the history of windmills at the start. The windmill seems well preserved and shows off what it would have been like to live inside as well.

Very informative of how a windmill works and I loved that it was still working and in use when we visited! There is a video at the end that explains everything including the history of the Dutch windmills and their importance. This video is also in English which was helpful. The lady working at the windmill was super friendly. There is a little shop with nice souvenirs available to purchase too. €6 per adult to enter which I felt was very responsible.

Beautiful restoration, impressive to see what daily life was like so many years ago, and testimony to the incredible ingenuity of the Dutch.

Great example of a working windmill. All the parts were working and visible. Thank goodness the wind was blowing hard enough to showoff the moving parts.

A very worth seeing museum. There is a short film in different languages (DE, EN, NL) that you can watch beforehand. The interior of the windmill shows many details about the life of the people in these mills at the time and really impressed me, for example the sleeping position and how little people had to make do with. We bought our souvenirs in the small shop. These were cheaper than in other areas in the Netherlands. The operators of the windmill are extremely nice and helpful. We recommend visiting the windmill in good and bad weather.
