Very nice and big park in city center. I think it’s very famous and everyone already knows it. You may have long walks or bicycling.

Rosarium in Vondelpark. Labyrinths of paths in the shape of polygons around flower beds with various varieties and types of roses. Of course, it is better to visit during flowering. But even in winter it is beautiful here, although not bright. Each flower bed has a plate with the name of the plant variety. Entrance to the territory of the rosarium, as well as to the entire park, is free. There is a playground nearby, and a fountain on the other side (works only in season).

I can see how this place could be pretty in Spring and Summer, but right now in mid March, there’s not a lot to see. It is still a great place to walk around and enjoy the sun and breeze.

Very nice rose garden. I have been multiple rose gardens recently and there are some very special spices that still impress me very much.

This needs some tender loving care. It’s overgrown and rather disappointing. The park is lively & very nice but this rose garden is also mostly surrounded by fences. So maybe they’re in the process of fixing them. Until they do I’d unfortunately advise skipping it.

Lovely place to walk and learn about different types of roses. During spring and summer times you could sit on a bench to read and enjoy the Rosarium in full bloom

Pretty place to stroll around. The roses are pretty and good taken care of. Late afternoon and evening, it is a bit of a high out spot for the homeless.

Lovely little rose park in the Vondelpark with a wide variety of roses. Planted, tended and managed by volunteers who mainly live near the park. New roses are added every year. The rosarium is always on the lookout for new volunteers who are willing to pitch in on just a couple of mornings per year. You can also adopt (= sponsor) a rose bed if you want.

A gorgeous gem inside an already beautiful park. The variety of roses is remarkable and it's my favourite spot for an afternoon walk.

A beautifully laid out rose garden at the far end of Vondelpark (from our point of view😁). Very pretty and fragrant during the day and a super fun place to be at night😉
