It has something for everyone - miniature model of real buildings of Netherlands, moving replica model trains of Netherlands, 4d show depicting how the water was used to create Netherlands, an aeroplane with screens providing view-from-air of Netherlands, two restaurants, souvenir shop, all amazing click points. Ideal for identifying what else you want to visit in Netherlands.

Students at a local university have been forced to go here as an orientation program. I managed to avoid ever visiting. I finally got roped into it to entertain a family member visiting for a few days. No wait in the ticket line. We got in immediately. It was a parent trap, really. Miniatures are randomly spread about with only minimal information. Some highlights are an airplane and the palaces. Not really a history lesson. Bathrooms are clean and child friendly. You can get exercise walking around the paths. There is a cafe. Accessible by tram 9. Maybe just stay on the tram and get off at the beach instead.

A lovely day experience. It’s a fantastic experience for kids and adults both. The models are detailed, well maintained and amazing. The food in the restaurant is great as are the playground and the narrated experiences. I am reducing a star as the price on the day at the desk is €10 more than what you will pay online even if buying online at the entry on the day. So please save money and buy online. It felt like a rip off as I choose to buy at the counter due to being busy with my kid!! Never again!

We visited this park as part of our trip to the Netherlands and we were not disappointed. We arrived at 10am as the park opens and this gave us a good 30 minutes of relatively quiet time. After that, the park got crowded even thought we visited during the week so less ideal in terms of photo opportunity but still enjoyable nonetheless. We spent 2.5 hours but would have needed more to fully explore the park but we had to transit to our next destination. Speaking of transit, the park is easily accessible by tram line 9 Schevenigen Noord, for less than 2 euro.

Nice place to visit. Great to bring kids here. There are many things to see. The interactive attractions are also nice. Plan your trip on a sunny day as almost all of the attractions are outdoors.

Netherlands in a basic nutshell with all the most iconic buildings & monuments. Architectural work is great! Attention to detail in the architecture is splendid. Must go with kids! So much to learn and understand. Can be self guided or with a guide. Must do on checklist for holland

This is indeed a must visit. Lots to do for the kids to enjoy and have fun. Nice and clean garden. No issues with the parking. Parking charges are 11€ for the entire day. It Has few snack / lunch options as well here.

A great miniature park where you will get to see the entire Netherlands. Must visit place and the level of detailing is mind boggling. The minute details of all the architecture are amazing. We can play with dams, boats etc.

A totally great place to understand Netherlands architecture. The miniature are quite accurate and it’s like replicas of actual monuments. I guess everyone who visit Netherlands must visit once here .

Great place to come alone or with kids. Pretty crowded if you come later than on the opening hour. Great attention to details. The only disappointment was super expensive parking - more expensive than the one next to de Pier, so I strongly suggest to get there by public transportation.

What an amazing day out. We where all adults and still had a good time. Wonderful skill to build all the buidlings. Watching the trains was so much fun..

Great place to see all Dutch famous places in one day. The park is well maintained. Parking is expensive 11EUR and the pizza restaurant was CLOSED at 5. that’s a pity because there are only snacks left to eat.

Great fun park to walk around and admire The Netherlands, shows off a lot of historical buildings throughout Holland, at a miniature scale of course. Lots of little activities for kids to play around with. As well as some shows and short movies to sit down and watch.

Wenn man schon Mal da ist sollte man sich diesen Park anschauen, gestaltet mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Es gibt viel zu entdecken. Man kann Schiffe mit einem Kran beladen oder auch ein RC Boot fahren. Online kann man Tickets kaufen, da bildete sich eine Schlange, wir hatten keine, haben bezahlt und waren drin. Online ist also nicht immer schneller. Leider muss man das Parkhaus mit ca. 12 Euro nicht im Eintritt von ca. 70, 50 Euro für drei inklusive. Somit ist mit 82,50 Euro für drei Personen fällig, also heißt es Brote schmieren und Getränke einpacken.

Eine sehr schöne Attraktion mit Kindern! Unseren hat es sehr gut gefallen, viel zum mitmachen und ausprobieren! Die verschiedenen "3d Animations Vorstellungen" waren besonders sehenswert. Alles sauber und hochwertige Gebäude mit Liebe zum Detail! Selbst die Spielplätze überzeugten. Toll!

As if any more praise could be added to this magnificent attraction I could only begin to attribute it😜, our third visit over thirty odd years and it just keeps getting better. Everyone had an absolutely great day including the café and gift shop, luckily our day wasn't too busy, definitely the high point of our time in Holland🤗😍😜❤️🇳🇱

Man kommt super mit den öffentlichen Verkehrmitteln dahin. Der Eintritt ist nicht ganz günstig allerdings sieht man ne Menge. Alle Gebäude sind liebevoll und sehr Detail getreu gestaltet. Und es gibt einzige witzige Details vor allem in der klompenwerkstatt oder auf dem Tulpenmarkt. Es macht Spaß die Niederlande auf diese Art zu entdecken.

Very educational place to visit. Everything there is artistically well made. I think the entrance fee should be cheaper. Other than that, it is worth to visit and bring the kids to learn more about The Netherlands.

Nice day outing allows to get an impression of all what the country has to offer. There are miniature buildings but also working trains, boats, bridges, and water boats. In addition, there are a few places where the history is presented in a realistic surrounding, like the new amsterdam event. Really a good outing for yound and old. Recommended, despite the steep entrance fee of euro 24.

I really recommend this place for those who have been around the Netherlands - it’s really cool to see the miniature of where you’ve already been. Impressive attention to detail and lots of interactive experiences that give you an in-depth understanding of the Netherlands. Totally worth a visit!

Wonderful park with replicated working minature models of famous Dutch landmarks, airports, train stations, historical sites and buildings. I was amazed at the detailed work on each section. The people, the buildings, the planes and the windmills.. all so real! There is a fee to enter, restaurant and bathrooms.

Smaller than expected - as consequence all models are next to each other without transitions. In addition the place is not super well maintained: a lot of interactive devices are either not working or not functioning properly (for example: 1 remote-controlled boat out of 4 was not working; the wind turbines were out of service, etc..). Same to the models (model trees were down, cars broken, etc..) On the good side, the live experience is good, especially the Flying Dutchman - must try it!

Been waiting to visit this place since I was a kid and it exceeded my expectation! We had a quite sunny day so it was nice to be there even if it was cold. The place overall has great attractions, but I only managed to get into 3 out of 6 because of the time limitation. You have to visit the Hollandse Meesters! There were a lot of amusing photo spots and places to play. I also got to see the Dom Toren, how it would look like (before or after) the renovation. In some spots there are interactive games that you can play, but only seeing the miniatures also made me really happy. The toilets were clean and it was easy to get there from Den Haag Centraal.

Madurodam was an excellent experience for me. I got to view small replicas of cities and other attractions in the Netherlands, While looking around, I discovered some interactive and fascinating activities that I could get involved in, such as looking at video and audio. Additionally, there are enjoyable learning activities and a playground available. It is more than simply a miniature version. It is a place where you can relax and have a lot of fun while also admiring the beauty around you. They manage to catch the Netherlands all in a single place. The time I spent here flew by, so if you genuinely want to immerse yourself in Madurodam, plan early of time if you want to stay for an extended period.
