Super shady place, did not expect this at all, my son slept on the top bunk bed where he got bitten by insects on his ear and it got infected, not clean at all. Booked this for 4 nights to attend a wedding and obviously it gets late at weddings, came after 11pm and had to park on the street as I was not given access inside the park, next day when I went to get my car the windows were smashed and they took stuff from my car and also robbed a car part! The park can give access to cars with a pin too just like they give ac6to walking people . Never booking again very disappointed

Terrific site, well situated just outside Delft, best way to get there is by bike and takes only 7 mins. Toilet block is first class and kept spotless, separate facilities for washing, showering and pooing for both genders. Tarmac roads to access facilities and auto gates. Would definitely go back.

Since our last visit here in 2016 this place has undergone a large renovation. New entrance and large shower/toilet/washing block have been built. The old shower block grounds are dedicated to motor homes and the restaurant is opposite the reception area. Given there are 201 plots here, plus those on the aire, I personally don’t think there are sufficient showers here given there are only 12 in total plus 2 family rooms. Queues, quite often occurred during our stay and I saw men use the ones designated for ladies. With regards the other facilities, the shop was well stocked with fresh bread baked daily. The restaurant was a little disappointing with mainly pizza on offer and not open every day despite, although we were there in April. Nice play area for the children but to claim there is a swimming pool is a bit far stretched. From memory, although it was closed, markers showed it was only 1.3m deep and now more than 15x10 metres. More of a paddle really. Having said all of that it’s in a great location, nice flat pitches and plenty of bird life to listen to. Close to cycle tracks. Delft is a 15/20 minute walk.

Excellent camp beautiful ladies in the office very helpful and patient with Australian friends like us. They where amazing and the camp is great big pitches and very hot showers they where also very clean. We didn't get to br ave a beer in there onsite restaurant but it's near the end of the season so understandably it is shut but we have had a drink there in past years and its equally good. Have to give the camp 5 stars it's easy access into delft city so brilliant place for anyone coming to see beautiful delft in the Netherlands. Thank you staff from both of us Australians .cheers πŸ‘

Delftse Hout is a well maintained, family friendly campsite, which felt very safe. The site is in close proximity to Delft and within a 20 minute walk. The facilities were new and exceptionally clean. The food at the Brasserie was also brilliant. Would definitely recommend this site and cannot fault it. Will be back.

Great experience here, with fantastic sanitary facility that are brand new. They were very accomodating at shifting their schedule for us to extend our stay by a few nights. Thanks for having us 😊

Lovely site with excellent facilities although I thought 8.50 was over the top for a machine wash. Bread etc available at reception and a small bistro on site. Very helpful and friendly staff and 1.5k cycle ride to centre of Delft. Would highly recommend.

Lovely clean campsite with friendly staff. Well laid out with reasonable sized pitches. Small, useful shop in the reception area. Easy 15 minute walk into the centre of town. Bus, just outside of the campsite if you don't want to walk. It also goes to the railway station if you want to go further afield by public transport. We used the train to get to Amsterdam.

We really liked this site. Fantastic facilities for toilet/washing. Brand new. Swimming pool is good enough for a dip but not somewhere you'd spend a day around. You could do that at the lake behind which even has a sandy beach. Easy enough walk into Delft which is a really nice place too. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Can't fault it. Would use again.

Didn't stay overnight, but have previously. The site has obviously has had a lot of money spent on a revamp. We believe it also has a new heated pool now. The motorhome aire outside has moved more towards the entrance road, along with a new park entrance, giving improved access. 15 min walk to town centre, also free parking on access road under trees.

Great campsite close to Rotterdam port. Lots of activities for the kids like swimming and go karts. Onsite staff were friendly and professional Delft City Centre within walking distance of this campsite as is The Hague. Only downsides are that the camping pitches are quite small and the site was very busy, but overall very good.

Extremely helpful reception staff. Very relaxing. Are due to update the sanitary facilities which really will make all the difference. Great bike rides in the area and very close to Delft centre. Been several times and will certainly be going back. Can't say that about many places!

Nice clean site with large pitches. Good facilities including on site shop. Close to local lake with nice walks and bike paths. Big plus is the easy walking distance to town centre in 20 minutes. Also local shuttel bus to town stops near gates.

Great campsite for visiting Delft , Rotterdam, Den Haag etc. Campsite is within easy walking and cycling into Delf which is a beautiful town. The market waz on yesterday (Thursday ) and i had the best fried fish (kippling) that i have ever eaten from a shop, well trailer. It was brilliant. Fresh and cooked in front of you. I also brought some scallops and cooked them myself in our camper. There was cheese and lollies and more food. Loved it. As for the campsite. The showers and toilets are clean and tidy and the water in showers are hot. The campsite is warming down for end of season so restaurant and bar was closed. Staff are very friendly and helpful, providing all the info you need. The shop also provides fresh bread every morning and has most things that you might need. 10 out of 10.

The camping ground is very quiet and located close to the historic old town of Delft. You can rent bikes for the weekend and buy breakfast at the shop. We stayed at one of the huts. They were truly amazing. They were heated and the beds were comfortable. There was a lot of space. The only thing we missed was WiFi.

A lovely campsite. Very busy when we visited in July 2019 but the layout is such that there is a cosy feel to each pitch. There was plenty to do on site. Lots of things for kids especially. Very close to an IKEA for those craving meatballs. Mini-market on site for all the essentials. Excellent transport links in to Delft, Rotterdam and The Hague. Loses a star for high prices (compared to others of a similar standard around Europe) and the distance to the only black water point I was able to find. Despite losing a star, I would definitely return.

Really great to have this nature, swimming area, lake so close to Delft. You can bike there, come by car and park. There are a few toilets. The beach is usually clean and you can barbecue on the grass field.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ What a beautiful camping site... You can enjoy the silence and nature here. The location offers so many possibilities for trips, where you can discover Delft, Rotterdam, the Hague or other nice cities around. It's our second stay here and won't be the last.
