Just wow! One of our best culinary experiences in Amsterdam... We discovered to our surprise that this is a restaurant with a surprise menu of five courses (it is recommended to book in advance) the waiter was really nice and matched us with excellent wines for each course …and of course the food was very delicious! Highly recommend, we had a great time!!

My wife and I just happened upon this gem after seeing it while having coffee across the street. Made reservations for a few days later. The food is exceptional and service attentive. The two servers were friendly and personable. The cuisine is creative without being crazy like some nicer restaurants. Pace and portion sizes perfect. Atmosphere insider is enjoyable and not too loud. The menu changes monthly. Prices are very fair. Suggest starting with the oysters for a small additional cost. Didn't take a picture of the main since we just dug in but it was a fantastic venison.

Comfortable, intimate restaurant with incredibly genuine service. So pleased that this was how we spent our first night in Amsterdam. I’ve truly never had a meal like it before. Super innovative menu featuring seasonal ingredients & it’s got some very surprising mash-ups. Reservation obviously required- worth every penny.

Absolutely phenomenal food. We came for lunch and they offer a 3- or 4-course tasting menu. We opted for the 4 (of course!) and it was €49pp. Worth every penny and more! The staff was attentive and accommodating, especially with us having half glasses of wine. The space was cozy but airy and sweet. And the food was creative, balanced, fun, and such a treat. I particularly enjoyed the thoughtful textures, incorporation of different temperatures in a dish, and the finer, subtler details that made for more complex flavors. Just lovely and I want to come here for the dinner tasting menu as well. I’d recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Super cozy place and delicious food! The restaurant reminds me a lot of those small Parisian restaurants with the table next to each other, candles and romantic vibe. The food is very good! Every plate was super tasty and beautiful presented. The staff is very friendly and you can expect to pay a fair price. I definitely recommend this place!!!

I don’t have words. One of the best lunches I have ever had. Amazing flavors along the different courses. Special mention to the fresh brioche served with butter. Thanks a lot !

We had this little table behind the bar, beautiful moment in an intimate place. Surprise menu was very close to 10/10. Thanks to the very friendly staff, to the very good sommelier as well, and to the chef. We gave our budget to the sommelier for the wine then he chose something which was half the price we wanted to spend. It was such a good quality / price wine that matches our tastes. You know you are gonna have a good moment when even before your starter, the brioche and the butter are good. They also gave us very good reco for other similars restaurants. Un grand MERCI!

Few things stick out. Real great food Nice vibe and great staff And a love of Tupac. (His picture is outside the toilet) You get a suprise menu. But all of it was soo good. You can easily walk past it...but next time I know. Highly recommended

Cosy atmosphere and some nice wines! Recommend booking in advance so you could get a table by the big window as I personally prefer it to the bar option, but if that’s the only option then either go for the cosy corner behind the main bar or for the cute balcony right above it.

Outstanding experience. The restaurant is in a tiny, cozy house in the Centre of Amsterdam. Good vibes guaranteed. The food was absolutely delicious, creative and fantastic value for money. The wine list is very comprehensive and the sommelier Tony is more than happy to recommend the perfect wine for you. Will definitely go back!

Absolutely perfect meal, and an incredible value for the price. We love fine dining and this restaurant created a superb tasting menu, witb perfect timing of each course and attentive staff. They could easily charge 20% more for the caliber of food they produce. The townhouse setting was cozy and unique. My husband and I didnt get the wine pairing so we cant comment on that (we wanted a night without alcohol), but next time we will definitely try it. We will absolutely be returning during our next trip to Amsterdam.

The highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. Amazing value and refinement - 4 courses plus an amazing soup (the best we've ever tasted). Wonderful venison, smoked beet salad and a fine dessert- you will not be disappointed. Relaxed but attentive service, with the chef bringing some dishes to the table, which we really enjoyed. Option of wine pairing, which was not too pricey. We've eaten in a lot of fine restaurants and this meal will stay long in the memory. Highly recommended.

A large series of relatively small dishes with enchanting (uhu... enchanting!) flavors (words fail!); heavenly wines; outstanding service. The kind of magic that memorable nights are made of! I wanted to be fair and post this Review but I'm also soooooh worried that I never will be able to book a table again because you will be fully booked!

One of the better restaurants that serve high quality food that is refined and taste ful without trying to become overly ambitious. Good wine pairings and smooth and knowledgable service. We want to come back and try the vegetarian options, which we heard were exceptional. The restaurant itself is very small with streep stairs to higher floor and a Kitchen that is on the second floor, but the informal atmosphere and somewhat basic decor feel good and add to the feeling that it is all about the food here.

Six stars. You must get the wine pairing with the tasting menu. Superb seafood-dominant meal with exquisite Beaujolais

Fantastic restaurant. Cozy and cute. Courses are all lovely and beautiful. Wine pairing was very well put together. Sometimes got the possibility to go old and new school. Classical French. Every detail was thought of. Perfect date night.

Great creative and fresh cuisine, in a cozy restaurant. Food is super tasty, and their brioche bread is a nice touch. The staff is very helpful and accommodates guests dietary restrictions. Very nice wine list (including an amazing white Jura)

Excellent restaurant, chief make the most of the taste of the ingredients very natural way. Today was beautiful spring day, the lunch course was like today's weather very mild caring kindly harmonised dishes.
