Went for a Windmill+Countryside Tour and loved our guide & bus driver's enthusiasm (which honestly made the whole trip so much better). You're in for a great experience if you get Ian (guide) & Stef (driver)! That aside, the tour itself was a little rushed (understandable as we're visiting multiple places in just 5.5hours), but nonetheless, everything we saw was a sight for sore eyes. A wonderful tour experience, would definitely recommend (if you're not looking to spend too long getting the perfect shot!)

Bought a tour guided with them to Keukenhof and found the experience really pleasant. We had to line up to exchange the ticket but it was pretty fast. We left sharply on time, be sure you are there sometime before as they can leave a few minutes before the booked time and pay attention on the guides taking you to the bus they can easily "disappear". Carolina, our guide, was the best one and incredible knowledgeable about explaining everything about the garden's history, she spoke English, Spanish and French fluently and we are still intrigued where she is from, anyways, the tour was well organised and worth it, the bus left the gardens exactly the agreed time and Carolina , again, even made funny jokes and told a little bit more history.

Took the Volendam, Marken, and Windmills Day Trip from Amsterdam. Our Guides were Toni and Serri ! Tour was awesome! Wish we could have stayed a little longer at the windmills area. That’s the first stop. Was super cool and you see how they use the same methods from way back in the day! There’s a whole village there! Wanted more time in it. Windmills were pretty. Had a coffee place right after in it and we ordered two and she said “if I have time…” what?! So we just left. Walked around and wished we had more time at that location to see everything in that village there. Next stop was where they made shoes/clogs. Was very interesting to see though they still don’t look that comfy! Last place was Vaandamm where we did a cheese tour. That was super awesome and you got to try a lot of cheese. I found out which ones I like and bought a few, though the people at the cash register were NOT nice at all. Weird. But good cheese. Then we went around shopping. Has some cute little shops. They recommended a restaurant but we weren’t hungry so we just kept window shopping. There was a stroopwaffles tour we missed because we were one minute late😢. But got to try different stroopwaffles so its all good. Headphones didn’t work on the tour. I let them know so their mechanic could fix that one spot. Your guides were so sweet and awesome and I’d totally go on a tour with them again…

Good price quality ratio. You get to see many places, but in a big rush. A very very big rush. With a quite rude Chinese guide, who did her best to be kind but succeeded to be unintentionaly the opposite. However, the chosen locations are spectacular. The boat ride is great. The cheese factory has a very short and commercial presentation, but the cheese tasting afterwards is divine. 25 kinds of cheese, one better than the other. We loved the ginger one, the combination is unexpectedly yummy! The stroop waffles place is the same, very short and commercial presentation and yummy waffles to buy afterwards, although not so much to taste. The best part was the clog factory, with a very witty and charming presenter, who made a quick demonstration for us and who let us try on as many actual clogs as we wanted. The De Lunch restaurant was also good, we were allowed a very little time there to sit and grab a bite. We loved the spicy tomato soup and the delicious eel starters. Final recommendation: we would definitely like to go visit these places again, but on our own or with another tour offer (that allows more time) and a more considerate tour guide.

Today's trip Tuesday 8th August with Peter to Rotterdam, Delft, and the Hague.... was amazing and was excellent value fir money st 79euro each!! It included entry fees also to Delft Factory , we also had time for a.leosurely linch in Delft and a quick tour of the miniature town of Madurodam and a 1 hour river cruise. We drove through Hague and were shown many embassy buildings. Peter OUR GUIDE was friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and kept us on time enough to also stop and view the Food Market in Rotterdam a d the yellow cube houses. If you have limited time in Amsterdam and want to see a lot in one day ... TAKE THIS TRIP!!! PETER IS AN ASSET TO TOURS AND TICKETS

My experience was excellent with them. I booked a trip through them to the village of windmills and fishermen They are very punctual. The bus drivers and escorts are nice, respectful and very cheerful people who explain everything in more than one language. Their commitment to the program time is excellent, and I never regret going with them. I enjoyed it very much👍 The meeting point is at their office in Central Station

We bought a ticket and transport to Keukenhof on April 6th. We had a nice experience inside the park, I recommend visiting it. I also recommend another company to go see it since they had to pick us up at 18:30 but the bus never arrived. We stayed under torrential rain (even kids and old people), soaking wet with 8 degrees, waiting for the bus driven by Marc for 50 minutes, which never arrived. We ended up leaving on Michael's bus (which was also late) completely cramped as 2 bus passengers had to travel together. I pity the girl who was helping us in the park, she was very nice and had to deal with a lot of angry customers.

My husband and I recently embarked on the Giethoorn and Enclosing Dike Day Trip from Amsterdam with Viator Tours, and despite the rainy weather, we had an enjoyable experience overall. The tour provided us with a fascinating insight into the Dutch engineering prowess and their centuries-old battle against the water. The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the picturesque village of Giethoorn. The place looked straight out of a fairytale picture postcard with its charming canals and quaint thatched-roof houses. It was a delight to explore, and we couldn't help but be captivated by the serene beauty of the surroundings. However, one downside we found was that Giethoorn is a relatively small village, and the allocated 4 hours there felt a bit too lengthy. We would have appreciated the opportunity to make an additional stop at another location, perhaps to experience more variety during the trip. On the bright side, our tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing many captivating stories and facts about the area. It added depth to the experience and enhanced our understanding of the Dutch history and culture. Unfortunately, one hiccup during the tour was that we booked the English version, but it was combined with the Spanish tour. This led to repetitive explanations as everything was presented first in English and then in Spanish. This aspect was a bit frustrating and could be improved by ensuring language-specific tours to enhance the overall experience for all participants.

We took the Charm of Holland tour here and had an amazing time. This entailed an 8-hour day visiting the other areas of the country, seeing windmills, a clog factory, a cheese factory, a stroopwafel factory, a museum, and a small town. We had a wonderful tour guide and got along well with the other people on the bus too. The country was beautiful and we learned so much. This is an excellent way to start your stay in Amsterdam.

Went on an excursion to Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam et Marken. It was super interesting and beautiful. The guide Diana and the driver Steff were super kind and friendly. I thought it was going to be a tourist trap but it is not, if you don’t know much about the Netherlands, they provide ou with super interesting info about the story of the villages I mentionned in the beginning. It was a great tour. Thank you !

Had a tour yesterday, Celia was our guide. Great tour, we went to a windmill, wooden shoe factory, cheese factory shop, a ferry, a nice lunch, and a bakery. Experience itself was a bit rushed but you could understand why, it was a bus full of tourists and a timetable to keep. They are quite serious about the time one needs to be back on the bus. There was one woman who at the windmills, put her kids on the bus and then wanders off. The time to leave comes and goes and so the bud starts to leave and she's then angry that's she's getting left behind. Her kids are crying and she thinks it's the tour's fault. She was on time the rest of the tour though.

Lots to do and see during the tours. Only con is the buses are very crowded and not too comfortable.

The excursion itself is a shame that the guide cannot translate into French, we understood absolutely nothing about the visit, and a lot of things are extra, take the boat for 6€50 more. The museum also pays, the meal is not included. And difficult to find we ended up managing to eat it was 4 p.m. In short, bring a well-stocked wallet and food. I do not recommend

Friendly, helpful staff who take their time and respond to all questions and requests about traveling by train or bus. The tours offered are very nice but quite expensive. You can also easily explore the area on your own, the train network is well served.

We did the The Hague Delft Rotterdam excursion, the two main visits in the program could not be done because they were closed!! It was December 26, the day of the second Christmas, the organizer knew it. We did not visit the porcelain museum and did not take the cruise to visit Rotterdam. The Euromast tower was offered to us, but in such a short time that we could not go up there for fear of missing the bus (because it is not waiting for anyone, it is clearly stated). So we paid €158 for two for the Madurodam, 3 free hours on Delft Square, the unvisited tower of Rotterdam, and 40 minutes at the Markthal. It is unacceptable. I hope Tour & Tickets will reimburse us for part of this disappointing day.

My girlfriend and I booked “COUNTRYSIDE AND WINDMILLS TOUR FROM AMSTERDAM” with Tours & Tickets. A great trip from start to finish. It started with a ~20 minute bus ride from Amsterdam Central Station to Zaanse Schans to the windmills, where we were able to go into the Holsäge windmill for free. A worker explained and showed us everything there and we had free choice of what we wanted to see for the rest of the time. We then continued by bus to Marken, where we were shown how the famous Dutch wooden shoes are made, which were then also offered in the sales room. There you could also try putting on wooden shoes to see what it felt like to walk with them. We then continued with a 20-30 minute boat ride to the other side of the lake (small snacks and drinks were available to buy on board). When we arrived on land, we visited a cheese factory where we were shown how cheese is made (in short) and afterwards we were able to try many different types of cheese (some with different "dips", large selection e.g. cheese with pepper, chili, pesto , truffles, goat's cheese, sheep's cheese, etc.) Of course you could also buy cheese there, but you were in no way forced to buy anything during the entire tour (TOP!). Afterwards there was an hour break, which we spent in a fish restaurant as recommended by the tour (you could also do something else or eat somewhere else during this one hour, of course you had to pay for the restaurant visit yourself). The restaurant that was recommended to us was very tasty and reasonably priced for a fish restaurant. After the 1-hour break, we were shown how the famous Dutch waffles are made and then a tasting with various “waffle fillings”. You could also purchase some there afterwards. This was the end of the tour. We walked to the bus and were driven back to the main train station in Amsterdam. On the bus there was always a lot of information via audio (10+ languages) and through the tour guide (in English + Spanish), which made the bus rides between the individual stops very interesting. We were extremely satisfied with the tour, which lasted about 6 hours. We can only recommend it if you not only want to explore Amsterdam, but also want to get into the interior of the country :) Gladly again!

Went for the Countryside and windmills tour yesterday (17 sep 19). It was an amazing experience of Holland. Lovely exposure to the cultural history of windmills and their role in Dutch history...followed by cheese making factory in volendam. The boat ride from volendam to Marken was beautiful over the calm waters. The icing was the shoe making factory. Collected a lot of souvenirs. Left very happy..very what shall I say 'heel gelukkig' feeling. A special thanx to our lovely, informative and enthusiastic tour guide Diane and a very patient Andre. Will cherish these memories for a looong time!!

Amazing experience! It's really worth the tour cuz you have the chance to see the most traditional places and uses. From the wooden shoes factory, cheese factory and windmill. Also a special mention to the fantastic crew: Steph, Marian and Santiago who are really well prepared, funny and truly friendly. I'll book more tours next time!

Bad experience in this agency, due to the tour sellers, especially a seller named Marybel, who in order to sell, lied about the return time of the tour, even though I told her that I had tickets with a specific time for a tour. museum.

Took a half day Country side windmill tour. The bus is comfortable and the guide was very entertaining. The trip had couple more local attractions like wooden shoe factory / cheese factory and cookie factory visit but thr best part was visiting a functioning 400 year old windmill and the country side drive.

A nice and interesting trip. Which was also very educational. Beautiful windmills and picturesque villages. We were also lucky with the weather and the guides. Steve, the driver with an artistic flair on the piano, and Astrid, who apparently had her last day at work today, were great. Keep it up! PS Steve & Astrid, if you're ever in Zurich for a beer let me know. 😄

Good bus tour out to the countryside and windmills, and Volendam is cute too. Their directions are bad, though: to get to their meet-up point/office, go through Centraal Station main entrance, take Amstelpassage, then turn right.

Great tour to Bruges. Clean bus, left on time, fun day. Make sure you go to the bathroom before getting on the bus, it's 2:45 minutes to Bruges from Amsterdam with no stops. The bus had a bathroom for emergency usage only.
