At the check in we found the apartment very dirty, old food in the fridge and bins full of trash. As they confirmed over the phone, no cleaning has been done before our arrival. We asked for a discount because of this and the management didn't agree to give us one. Totally unprofessional!

Small place, bad finishes. When we arrived the flat wasn’t cleaned so we had to wait an hour to get that sorted, then leave for another 2 hours so that the place got cleaned. Bummer after a long trip and with plans for the evening. No amount of cleaning could make the dishwasher usable. That thing is a bacteria trap and should be recycled and replaced. They offered a free taxi ride that nobody asked for or needed as compensation. This is rather dumb and probably only because they own the taxi company or something. I wonder, if a taxi il late or something do they offer a free room?

No hot water during stay for 3 nights. Rude customer service, getting told to shower another time when they knew the hot water wasn't coming back. There was no soap, shower gel or shampoo, and if you ask to refill it they wouldn't come Also have to pay for fresh towels. Even after writing an email, there was no sympathy.

I am still in shock that we had zero hot water during our 4 day stay. When speaking to YAYS, they gave no solution and told us we have to just deal with it. Customer service was terrible & we've asked to be compensated, however, we've been told there is nothing they will do. A decent company would ensure we're satisfied, however, these guys don't care. I advise all to not stay here or in any of their other branches. Get a hotel or an Airbnb - save yourself the hassle. Sukh

Excellent spot for this apartment. Right on the river so excellent views. A little bit out from the centre, We used the free ferry service to cross each day. But it was nice and quiet so we were glad to be away from the hustle and bustle. Comfortable size apartment and good price. Easy check in at the airport with helpful info on how to get there. Would definitely recommend.

Loved this flat! New, well presented and with everything you need. It doesn't have an elevator so you'll need to carry your luggage. Also, is north of the river so for late night hours your transport options are limited. Yet, I would stay there again

The apartment itself was a bit grubby and small. It was on the ground floor and the window locks had been jimmied so it didn't feel safe and there was an awful drain smell in the bathroom, which wasn't very clean. It's about a ½ hour walk into the city including a short ferry ride which is free. The service is non existent. For the price we paid and the photos/reviews I expected more.

Dirty house on check in after a full day of travelling? Ain’t real. We had to wait 2 hours for someone to clean the house. Really bad communication with service, they cannot give us a discount for what happened. So dissapointed. Think twice:)

Modern apartments, but the cabinets were too high to reach the top shelf. The washing machine broke, but got fixed quick after we called. Very close to the City centre

The apartment was coz the stay was excellent and the customer service through whatsapp was always helpful. The accuracy of apartment and details about self check-in process could be better but The customerservice via whatsapp helps us through the whole process.

We had a broken window on arrival, and it took a lot to send someone to fix it. after sending photos and videos and constantly calling them. In addition, on one of the days of our stay, a person entered without warning or calling us. we had a burglary. Also another problems during our holidays. They didn’t apologise for all these problems they only are interested for the money and just it.

good place to stay, it's a 20 mins walk to the free ferry which brings you out next to the Amsterdam central station, pretty nice apartments but during our stay myself and 3 others got scabies from the appartments. not sure how well the appartments get cleaned but it we definitely caught it from the appartments. hence why only 2 stars. also one of the glass panels on the balcony was shattered.

Beautiful apartment, clean. Downside of this place is location, not much coffee shop and things to explore. Would definitely recommend hiring a bike to make traveling easier as the nearest ferry point to central is about good 15mins walk. It’s a new area that still being developed the first morning we woke up to loud earthquake like sounds, that shook the entire building for about 30mins due to construction in front of the place. They have a tablet with local recommendations near by place for for activities and Art etc.

Nice apartment that was clean and tidy. Coffee, sugar and tea was supplied but no milk. A little cafe on the corner did nice coffee and pastries. It's a quiet area and it's really easy to get to by ferry. Useful that we could pick the keys up at the airport. Staff were friendly and told us everything we needed to know.

This property had a no smoking policy but my family checked into a 2 bedroom that smelled heavily of weed. All pillows and bedsheets smelled too. Called the YAYS hotline and was told only to open the windows and to wait for their email follow up. There were only 3 windows available to be opened and 1 of them couldn't be opened. Till now we did not receive an email from them about the issue.

A great 2 bedroom apartment, well-equipped with everything you need for a long weekend trip. Perfect place to stay for 2 couples or a family travelling. Comfy beds, super clean and great facilities: huge shower and kitchen with utensils, fridge and cooking appliances. Check in was super smooth. The place is "concierge-less" and you receive your keys via email on the day you checkin, which are shareable with your party. The location is a little bit out of the centre. It's north of the river across from Central Station but its only a 15-20 minute direct walk to the F3 ferry which is free and comes every 5 minutes or so. It goes from directly outside the Central Station. We had no problems walking to and from there everyday and then you're straight into the heart of Amsterdam. It is in a safe and quiet residential/industrial area and there's not a lot immediately around the hotel. However, there is a cafe directly across and a supermarket 15 minutes walk away.
