👍👍 This place is a must-visit for all specialty coffee lovers! They let us try and choose their batch brew - it was delicious. The espresso made with 'Colombia Jhoan Ergara' beans was simply mind-blowing! There is a restroom. The owner is very welcoming! We will definitely come back. My favourite spot to grab an espresso or filter coffee. Tony is the heart of this place! His brews are always delicious!!! It's 10 stars from me! :)

By far one of the best cappuccino's with oatmilk that I've had in Amsterdam west! You can tell the barista loves coffee and is passionate about making the best cup of coffee. Coffee machine looks very impressive. My friend had a flat white which he didn't like as the beans were a little too sour, though. Pastries looked nice (croissants, banana bread, etc.) but I didn't try them. Interior is very minimal - reason why I won't give this place 5 stars is because the wooden stools are very uncomfortable. Take away coffee would be great! Definitely coming back.

Great coffee, excellent service 🙏 The barista was so talented, we have tried different options here. They were all good. The bean coffee bags that they are selling are all premium, 3rd wave coffee.

Honestly extremely very…average. Granted when I say average that’s a banging cup of European flat white so it’s a 4 star ⭐️ (I wish I could Dave portnoy these reiviews this is really a 3.7) Roast was a little bitter (that’s over roasted for you normies), seating was meh, and kind of a messy shop tbh Obviously blows the brains 🧠 out of the italian burn your face off volcano or the America can’t even call it coffee trash but honestly I expected more… Maybe I have become a bit too snootish? Do I expect too much? Possibly. But I’m also one of the top coffee reviewers this side of the prime meridian so there’s that Also wth are those take away cups? Those are .02 plastic coated trash - come on get me that expensive fake “compostable” stuff with fire branding

It's espresso has some acidity, so for the modern espresso drinker this is fine. Still I prefer the italian espresso more. It's here now for over a year, so.mainly alone under the pandemic situation and still going strong 👍

Rum Baba is a homely shop with a cool aesthetic ;). The person making our drinks was very kind and attentive in a humble way, not only to me and my partner but to all the other customers as well. The drinks were of good quality and the flat white was a reminder to our favorite coffeeplace in Rotterdam. Prices are expectable and service was quick. Most people choose take away but they still have lots of seats.

Has quickly become my go-to spot for coffee and beans! You can’t go wrong with their run of the mill Brazil espresso beans but the some of the single origin beans are stellar for a great filter cup

The only thing that’s keeping them from 5 stars is the lack of sitting space (and the ones they have are quite uncomfortable). The best option for on the go coffee!

Delicious coffee made by people that obviously love and have a passion for coffee, very chill vibe & super yummy. You can buy Fresh coffee and beans for home, even saw the dude grind the beans for a lady to take away, very nice 🌝

I had a take away cappuccino and - without exaggerating - it's the best coffee I've ever had; such a soft taste, not bitter at all!

Absolutely lovely roast coffee maybe not to everyone's taste, but I love the fruity flavors that are in the cappuccino when I get my coffee here. Carefully prepped, clean place.

Great coffee (latte in my case) with home baked cake, great atmosphere and just a good spot to get your coffee shot sorted!

Aesthetic and vibe were exceptional, service was great. Gentleman that served us was very attentive and nice. Ordered an Americano with milk and sugar, simple but tasted great. Storefront was quaint and had little seating, this was nice. Taste 10/10 Service 10/10

One of my favorite coffee shops in the world. The number #1 thing I look for in a good coffee shop is.....great coffee. Rum Baba has great coffee but the pastries like Banana Bread and Cinnamon Rolls are super fire. Every person I've encountered in there is cool too. Just a really great neighborhood coffee shop that I have to hit a few times each time I visit the city.

Place closer to perfection than any other specialty cafe in whole Amsterdam! Superb coffee, excellent customer service. Can’t say a bad thing about this cafe!

The coffee was good. The shop is very limited on seating and strangely set up for service. The counter is against the wall, so you feel like you are coming into someone's home or something really casual. There was no natural place for people to queue. The seating was done in such a way that it makes it uncomfortable for people to have conversations or spend any length of time there.

Amazing coffee and pastries and friendly staff. One day I was served a double fermented Brazilian coffee in a flat white, and it tasted like nothing I’ve ever had before. A little bit inconsistent depending on which barista is working there.

Real speciality coffee with baristas who love to serve coffee -and know a lot about it. Great option for a coffee to dine in and also to buy freshly roasted beans

Best espresso I had in Amsterdam. Nice cozy atmosphere and very diverse options for coffee beans - everything well explained by the very friendly barista Fahroud. Many methods and accessories available and beans packages for sale. It’s a pleasure to have them prepared at home - very good roast.

Amazing specialty coffee. When we visited, we could choose between three different beans our Espresso. We picked two anaerobic fermented beans and both shots were great!

I asked for a cup of espresso. Being a specialty coffee place i was not expecting an italian style espresso, but I knew I would probably get a double shot with some 19-20g dose and around 38-40 ml of liquid out. What i received instead was a cappuccino cup with 70-75ml sort of lungo brew. The beans seemed kind of nice, but it was insanely over extracted and way too big of a cup. Strangest espresso I had in my life to be honest. The girl also gave an extremely cold vibe to the whole interaction and spoke so softly that it was completely impossible to hear over the little music that was going on. Service 5/10 coffee brew 4/10. Would not recommend.

👍 A cozy restaurant with a view. I liked those Avocado chips very much. Comparatively budget friendly in central Amsterdam. (More ideal for a coffee date.) They are providing white bread with steak. . . PS: Don’t forget to reserve a table and visit the restaurant.
