Beautiful place, relaxed atmosphere with a nice buzz. Breakfast was light, fresh and seasonal. I had the overnight oats which were superb, husband had the spring toast which burst with vibrant flavors and colors. We also had the banana bread which was sensational. Just to note, coffee from 8am but no food until 9 - it was worth waiting for!

Definitely one of my favorite places in Amsterdam. Really calm, good location very close to Vondelpark, great service & delicious pastries! Make sure you visit them not too close to closing time because there might be not pastries! My first time having a Kombucha and it was amazing, homemade and refreshing! Thank you! x

Tried their almond croissant and mushroom ragout. The croissant was impeccable, the views at the windows seat are great to just watch the world unfold. Not to mention the waitress was really nice and accommodating to us!

Amazing coffee, amazing food and amazing service. Would definitely recommend stopping by here for a coffee, breakfast or even lunch. It is however not really a cafe to study at, they ask for no laptops.

Uncommon is definitely one of the best brunches I've ever had! There's no other name that better describes the brunch experience than "uncommon". The açai we ordered (and I assume all of their other dishes) is nothing traditional and it had a twist to the traditional açai. It obviously contains the basic ingredient (açai) but it also includes different and unique ingredients that are very well-elaborated (with specific preservation and elaboration processes) and that just fit together perfectly. The overall combination of the ingredients made this açai unique and definitely unforgettable to the taste. I especially loved the salsa at the base (nutty sweet taste, amazing when combined with the rest). The oat latte we ordered was of considerable size and, despite the bigger size, it was perfectly served and neither too weak nor strong, perfect balance of flavours. Amazing coffee!!! The staff were super nice and accommodating. At lunch time at the weekend it can be a bit busy and chaotic but the staff take note of the customers to accommodate them whenever there's space for them. So, make sure to go with no rush because the experience is well-worth it and we were accommodated within 20 minutes of wait. We were first sat on a side table and the waiter offered to be relocated to a full size table if we wanted whenever there was availability. After 5 minutes, he relocated us. We couldn't have asked for a better brunch experience, we'll make sure to return to try their seasonally changing uncommon menu. Their baked treats at the counter look amazing too, especially the cardamom buns. One açai and one oat latte costed around 20€, so it's a bit expensive but when you try it, you realise that the quality of the ingredients are well worth the price and it's average to Amsterdam prices. Also, the presentation of the dishes may make you think they're too small for the price but it is just due to the arrangement of the dish (which is also uncommon), the dishes are very filling. They also sell their own coffee beans at affordable prices (starting at 10€).

The most chic place we visited in Amsterdam; the menu, the waiters, the design, the food - everything there was fined to perfection. Each sandwich is completely unique and perfect on its own. The coffee is special. Even the sink for washing your hands is special. Lots pf vegan options. A must visit.

A nice vegan place to find. Easy to access from the central with just one tram. A small place so you might wait a little for a table, but service is quite quick after that. The desserts are pretty tasty (some are not vegan!), we got matcha latte and hot chocolate which were both okay. The mushroom toast was very tasty, but the winter porridge was unfortunately not for my taste, but I can see the appeal. Overall, if you are searching for a new place to try, i think it’s worth it.

There was a bit of a queue to get in on a Saturday morning but we didn't wait much. Service was really polite. They had quite unique breakfast options, not on the cheap side but I guess you pay for the quality! I opted for pastries and matcha latte. Pastries tasted nice, matcha latte tasted really milky. My partner had the banana bread and he loved it

Outstanding staff, even during the busiest hour of the day, I entered with a baby stroller and they were so helpful and patience. And the food is so so good. Fully honoring their concept name.

We went on the afternoon and they were almost sold out with the pastries. Gave the cinnamon bun a try, but it was really dry and didn’t feel like it was freshly made. The coffee was good. Staff was nice. Also nice to sit outside.

Lovely Cafe. Would definitely return. I had a flat white, cardamom bun, and kimchi toast. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted great! Service was nice too.

Delicious coffee (oat milk latte) and warm oats - incredible flavors and textures and so hearty on a warm morning. They have great customer service and indoor and outdoor seating. We loved all the vegan options on the menu and that some of the baked goods/pastries are also vegan.

The open-faced sandwiches blew my mind – especially when combing cheese and kimchi (see photos). I could hardly comprehend the mélange of flavors, the memory of which are right now making my mouth water. Regarding pastry, the variety seems unpredictable, but the maple donut was very impressive: tender and richly flavorful, as well as fragrant. The coffee is very good, though I admit the arrangement lacks bolder options to which I'm accustomed both at home and in other European cities.

Lovely cafe with good coffee and innovative creations from the kitchen. Loved the banana bread and kimchi toast - the flavour combination just goes so well together! Will be back to try more items from the menu and counter !

Came here with my friend just for a coffee but we ended up with so much more. We shared the kimchi toast and it was so good I was blown away completely. One of the best flavor experience I had for a long time. The coffee is also amazing they are working with some really great blends. Staff is nice and very helpful always taking care of us. 100% recommend!

Uncommon is a great vegan friendly cafe with delicious coffee and matcha. They were very sweet and offer a variety of delicious vegan lunch items. We ordered three different items to share (nourish bowl, kimchi toast and the mushroom dish). Each of them tasted great and they were very filling as well. We also shared a banana bread as a dessert. The banana bread was very delicious and sweet perfect to share!

Love their coffee here - consistently good, quick, not overpriced. Lovely interiors and cool staff. A must try is their mushroom toast. I know you can find a lot of toasts around Amsterdam but this one is pretty flavourful vs the average Dutch standards. Perfectly spiced and very umami.

We have tried croissant with almond and flat white to go. Flat white was too milky instead of being strong (there should be two shots of espresso if I’m not mistaken), but it was like small latte. Croissant was good. Really nice and friendly atmosphere.

Very nice coffee. And the hot chocolate was a great surprise. However a bit disappointed with the croissants, I mean they looked sooo good, but the taste didn’t meet the expectation. Inside pretty hard and dry.

Delicious coffee!!! This is definitely a speciality coffee shop. The coffee is great, perfect roasted, beautiful presented and great variety. The place is cozy and quite, which is great for having a coffee and talk or read a book. They offer a small breakfast, cakes and salads. I definitely recommend this place! The coffee is amazing and it's possible to buy coffee beans.

Super nice coffee place! Loved the aesthetic clean vibe. Beautiful interior, friendly staff, excellent speciality coffee and delicious food and pastries. I can recommend the flat white, matcha latte and cinnamon buns. I wanted try the kimchi toast as well but unfortunately they said it was to early (around 10 am). The summer toast was not really my taste, but if you like nectarine and cheese, go for it!

We had a nice little afternoon tea sesh here. The weather was really nice and many people were sitting outside enjoying the sun. We ordered a yuzu citrus lemonade (something like this) and a coconut cold brew, with a cinnamon roll. The drinks were very refreshing. But the cinnamon roll was a bit too old. The surface was almost as hard as a biscuit. The vibe and the service were generally good though, so I’ll give a 4.

One of THE specialty coffee spots you have to visit in Amsterdam. Minimalistic style, amazing pastries, amazing food with vegan and gluten free options. El Salvador red honey batch brew was just sublime, kombucha lemonade on top! Try winter bowl, that's just amazing.

A lovely little coffee shop with a nice brunch menu. The mushroom toast was delicious, the banana bread was warm and soft and so tasty. Coffee was great too. Staff are friendly and the cafe has a lovely vibe to it with great decor. Really recommend!

Wow, the vegan mushroom toast was one of the best breakfast/lunch dishes I’ve had in a long time. Their oat milk latte was also exceptional, hitting all the right flavor notes. The space is beautifully designed with a modern style and staff are all so friendly & inviting. This cafe is clearly popular with neighborhood locals on a first-name basis with the staff, and I understand why… I’ll be back!

Amazing cafe! The staffs are so friendly and services also pretty nice. The best part are the deserts and breads all yum! Very clean and chilling space. There are also gluten free and veggies options, I will try next time ☺️ this order is a banana bread, it is so tasty and colorful !! Definitely will come again!! ☀️

Great place for coffee recommended by my son who owns a restaurant in town. Amazing banana bread with chocolate chips that is amazing. Croissants bit too over cooked for my liking and taste ok. Coffee is good and they have a lovely location with modern settings. Went here twice during my stay in town and loved it both times. They have a small food menu here and it is quite a popular spot in the area. Staff are really nice and super friendly. Prices are high and hence the four stars. At €2.50 for a small croissant I expect perfection ;-) Happily come here any day for the coffee.

One of the best food experiences of my trip due to the carefully selected beans to make the milky coffee drinks like my flat white that I ordered. Wash hands in the back for a clean and fragrant rush. Get a coffee zine in the back on the wall.

I would have preferred to leave a two word review of "uncommonly good", but as Google prefers a few more characters, I'll simply say that their coffee is definitively amongst the best in Amsterdam, as are their staff.

👍 A cozy restaurant with a view. I liked those Avocado chips very much. Comparatively budget friendly in central Amsterdam. (More ideal for a coffee date.) They are providing white bread with steak. . . PS: Don’t forget to reserve a table and visit the restaurant.
