A great bar by a great bartender 👏👏 he’s very kind and funny! And obviously, this bar is the only one in the whole city that has the legit Barvaria glasses. Everything’s kept clean and cool in the bar, so it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Amsterdam, especially on a hot summer day like today. Highly recommended!

Very nice cosy Bar in Amsterdam, went here after a few other central bars we got tired of after them charging €1&€2 for toilets even for customers. So was delighted to see no charge here, and a very friendly Barman who took time to recommend other places to visit, and parts of city to go to. Drinks were great, and reasonable in price. Well worth a visit.

Great little hidden gem of a cocktail bar/pub in the heart of Amsterdam! Was looking for a place that had something other than awful Heineken on draft and walking around found this little gem! I had great recommendations from David and ended up having some awesome Dutch needs (XXX Mokum Bier & Bavaria). Come check him out! And if you're looking for something, need recommendations, tips or just a chat while you have a beer or cocktail this is your place! And during summer yes, they do have AC!

I’ve had espresso martinis all over the world, and in bars all over New York City where I’m from. I can confidently say this bar has the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. The owner is really friendly as well, and great vibes all around.

David made my trip to Amsterdam unforgettable! On my first day in the city, my phone died and I got lost. I wandered into this bar in the middle of the day and David was super kind. He offered for me to charge my phone and have a drink. He and his friend started telling me about the best places to visit. When I left he said that he's always there in case I need anything. When I return to Amsterdam, this is the first place I will come back to visit. He's a genuinely lovely person :)

Such a perfect pub in Dam Square. David is an amazing bartender and makes some great drinks. Great location close to the Square and awesome setting with indoor and outdoor seating.

Loved this little bar! They had fun games like Jenga, the hook and ring game, and that crocodile teeth game I used to play as a kid. All great drinking games! Service and atmosphere was great. I would definitely go back here to hang out with friends!

Awkward experience and when I asked for a pint they gave me 3 quarters of a pint and said ‘that’s just what you get’. The Bartender was chatting to his mate the whole time and we had the feeling that they both wanted us to leave.

This place is a slightly hidden gem that I accidentally stumbled into. The owner David was very friendly and interacted with all the customers. He offers mostly Dutch beer with German pils as well. Highly recommend if you want a lively, friendly place slightly off the beaten path.
