The location is full of food options. Be sure to pick DOPE. While the service takes a while due to the crowd, but it’s definitely worth it. We had the margarita and the 4 cheese. Both were amazing. We especially loved the margarita due to the phenomenal tomato sauce. The portions are good. About 2/3 a pizza for a shy eater, and one pizza for a hungry person. Most visitors don’t finish the entire portion. Beware that it’s very crowded, reserve a table.

Tastiest pizza I've ever eaten. Really was a different experience to eat a more gourmet pizza. Everything tasted so fresh and hand made. Would definitely recommend. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and we didn't even need a reservation. There were also a lot of vegan options which were amazing.

Maybe it takes confidence in your own ability to call a place "Dope". Maybe it's a place in which all the staff make the atmosphere "dope" (and thank you for putting up an umbrella just for our table). Maybe it's because the pizza - including the big range of vegan options - is actually "dope". Or maybe it's because it's all these things. Great pizza. Great people. Great heart. I love them.

Pizza is super delicious 😋 one of the best in Amsterdam. Ingredients are fresh and of a great quality, dough is tasty and with a crispy crust. The only thing is I wish there were more waiters. Only two for such amount of people were too little. Maybe it was just a day hopefully. But still our waiter was very friendly, polite, positive and super hardworking.

The most delicious pizza that I ever tried! Perfect service. Waiter straight away brought us water with ice. Other useful detail is that the password for wifi was written on menu. Tiramisu was with nice design. Perfect!

Amazing Neapolitan pizza with quality ingredients and that perfect fluffy Neapolitan dough, exactly like it's supposed to be. These are among the few best in Amsterdam. They make interesting vegan pizzas as well that are definitely not an afterthought. Not to forget a vegan tiramisu and vegan cheesecake. Very good. Their terrace is nice and large but pretty cramped. The noisy tourist entertainment around and people smoking at their table under the sunshade cover made for not a great experience. Might be better outside of the weekend.

Pizza was worth the wait. Each pizza is crafted with the firewood oven, service time takes long but again, worth the wait! The dough was perfect, you would want to finish every single crust. The topping combination was sensational, perfectly balanced with the different ingredients. We had Dope & San Daniele. Walnut in the Dope pizza was the highlight - surprising!! I ordered the Kala 2.0. This is the best pizza I ever had in my life. And I am really well traveled! 🤩 the crust was so light but so chewy. It had an amazing bite. And it clearly tasted of gluten, salt and olive oil. Perfect. The cheese was clearly fresh and perfectly portioned for my pizza. The burrata in the middle was heaven, so creamy. The salami was impeccable. Very buttery and salty, just a little spicy! An absolutely incredible pizza. Bravo, Dope! I gave only 4 stars because my service was horrible. The waitress was absolutely lovely, but because of the pandemic, this place was seriously understaffed for being at full capacity. I waited an hour to order my food, then it came out in a timely fashion. Be kind to waitstaff! They work really hard!

This might be the best pizza in Amsterdam! Real, legit Neapolitan pizza made with a lot of passion. The pizzaiolo (and the whole staff here!) is super friendly and its clear he loves what he does. Try to get a table near the kitchen where the pizza is made in front of you. It's my third time here and I'm planning on returning every chance I'll get.

We were lucky enough to get an outdoor table just before a big reservation turned up - if you want an inside table you’ll most likely need to make a reservation. We got the dope pizza which was delicious and the Belgian strong ale which was an enjoyable experience. The staff were all lovely and yes they accept Visa cards.

The pizza is incredible. You taste the ingredients one by one, the dough is light and tasty. I took the one with octopus and it was really good, and usually I’m not a fan of fish on pizza. One of the best Neapolitan pizza I have had. Better to reserve always, they are busy, luckily for them.

I have had over 2000 pizzas in my life, I have tried pizzas in every way possible, gourmet, classic, contemporary style, most of them in Naples, which is where I am from. I enjoy also bake pizzas myself, thanks to my humble culinary background, so I know what a pizza has to be and how is made to obtain certain results. I will not spend corny words like you see often in the reviews here on Google, but let me say one thing, this is no doubt, easily one of the best pizza I ever had in my life, truly. The dough is truly amazing, so tasty and delicate, that melts in your mouth after every bite. Quality-wise, top tier ingredients make this pizza a truly special meal for anyone that wants to try what a modern style Neapolitan pizza means, without flying in Naples. Bravo to you Dope, I wasn’t expecting that much to be honest, I am impressed. P.s. Next to Dope, there is another pizza place, I am not saying the name, but compared to Dope, it’s not worth it, believe me. Thank you all guys.

Truly great authentic pizza napoletana!! The best pizza salsiccia e friarielli (Gentle Dream) I’ve ever had outside of Italy 😍 also, a really delicious Marinara! We’re definitely going back next time we’re going to Amsterdam and will recommend it to everyone we know! We went on a Saturday night with a reservation for 2, but we ended up being 4, and managed to make space for 4, but told us to leave by 7:15pm (very fair, we had over 1hour and a half)! The waiter came very quickly and was super friendly! We got our drinks after barely 10mins, our friends came and the waiter then came after about 5mins when everybody knew what to get! We got our pizzas in about 10mins (not even) and the place was PACKED! All were delicious and when it was time to leave, they just discreetly looked at us to confirm and we happily left after getting the bill again on the spot!

I have been there multiple times and will continue to go often. Pizza is really good and not at all expensive. I love their nutella pizza! The staff is also very kind.

I have to admit, probably one of the best plant based pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. Which is why I rate this place 5 stars. However, the floor was quite well understaffed, which was a pity. The lady serving us was super nice, as well as the man serving the drinks. However, being understaffed is quite a negative influence on their business as they could make so much more guests happy if there was at least one person extra serving and taking orders. I truly hope they quite quickly are going to be able to get more staff to make more people happy😄. Overall - even though the wait was a bit long, you have to try their pizzas. They’re awesome - as are they. Best vegan pizza in Amsterdam for sure 👌

You can always get the most delicious pizzas here! Best pizzas in the Netherlands so far. Only minus point is the service can be quite hectic/late, but they are always friendly!

Pizza here is one of the best in Amsterdam. The dough is perfect and ingredients used are super good!! Really feels like being in Italy! The owner is super nice and he always does his best to find a table for you if you don’t have a reservation. Pizzeria Dope is my go-to place when I fancy pizza.

The food we had was very good. On top of that, we also tried some local Italian beer here, which I truly enjoyed. On the other hand, the service was really bad. I mean, the staff was really nice and polite, but simply they forgot orders, I had to get up several times to get stuff myself and so on. Maybe because it was a busy day...

WOW This place is awesome. Went here whilst in Amsterdam for a city break for my partner's 40th Birthday. Luckily we booked in advance which was definitely needed as this place was absolutely packed and we wouldn't have got a table otherwise. I can definately say that this is the best pizza (and wine) that we have ever had. I recommend the marinara pizza - comes without cheese which I was a little unsure about but the quality of the ingredients shines through and was really a game changer. I highly recommend this place it's excellent. Busy but the staff work very hard to make sure customers are happy 😊🍕🍕

A great pizza place packed with locals and tourists. We pre-booked a table and sat outside. It was very busy and seemed understaffed for dinner time. There were 3 waiters, all we're busy and took a while to take our drink and food orders and again, had to wait a while to come back to check whether we would like desserts as we were planning to go for tiramisu which was delicious. Good job we got that as we were told it was the last one for the evening. Otherwise, it would have been disappointing. Pizza was good, it was big and would have liked my margarita with less cheese. Overall, great atmosphere, good food and very friendly staff who serve you with a smile, just a shame about the wait as my husband agreed that one extra staff members would have made it better for peak time.

This might be the best (vegan) pizza I had in my life! I had the vegan calzone filled with tomatoes, vegan cheese and topped with vegan parmesan. The taste was full-bodied and I might come back to Amsterdam just for the calzone ;) Also the stuff is very friendly there! They all speak Italian so you have the full Italian experience here :) My mum had a traditional pizza and was also very very happy.

Amazing pizza in a great location at very reasonable prices! I visited here with my three vegan friends and one meat eater, I myself am a vegetarian but there was plenty of choice for all of us! I opted for a vegan pizza and it was delicious! My three vegan friends really rated it too as there was such a great selection of vegan pizzas!

Delicious pizza, great Italian beer and overall a good vibe. Make sure to reserve a table in advance. We tried 2 pizzas: Kala which was amazing, the tomato sauce is really tasty 5/5, and the Quatro Formaggi 4/5. Also we waited around 40 minutes for the food to arrive, but it was a pretty busy night.

Booked a table for 4 and were seated promptly upon arrival. We had the best seats in house right next to Pepe. Pepe was knocking out pizza after pizza, it was great to have front row seats to watch the whole process. This is the best pizza I’ve had in Amsterdam! Great and friendly staff! We will def be back!
