I have gone on many of Stephan's virtual tours and I'm still thanking my lucky stars that I signed up for the first - "Inside the Anne Frank House". The tech that Stephan has to be able to take us on this is remarkable, his knowledge of the subject for any tour is well researched, well planned and insightful. Stephan is a people person and relates well to everyone and you can often hear him exchange greetings to people he passes by. He has a quirky sense of humour which has found an outlet in several of his tours from licking giant popsicles statues to playing plague doctor or a skeleton on Halloween. His tours are delightful, share knowledge and laughter. If I were ever to go to Amsterdam I know who I would want as a guide!

I regularly go on Stephan's wonderful tours on Heygo. He is super professional, knowledgeable and lovely (and sometimes very funny but don't tell him - I wouldn't want it to go to his head lol). We have been to processions of flower giants and surrealist river parades, art tours and adventures outside of the Netherlands as Stephan has walked, cycled, ridden by tram and kayaked his way around to show us some amazing places. Everything is so well prepared and he always has a plan B if something unexpected happens. If I wanted to book an in person tour I wouldn't hesitate. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful custom tour with Amsterdam Experiences. Day 1 of our week-long stay in the Netherlands, but definitely a highlight of the trip! The highlight was an access to the Vermeer exhibition and very interesting and informative talk with Kaleigh, our guide. And a special thanks to Kathrine Stokes from AmsterdamExperience for helping us to get this tour at very specific date we requested. We recently booked this private tour with Viator to visit the Anne Frank House and other sites in Amsterdam. Unfortunately, our evening flight to Amsterdam was cancelled due to mechanical problems with the aircraft. The airline rebooked us for the next evening, getting us to Amsterdam after the tour was scheduled to start. We notified our travel agent who then contacted Viator to explain the situation. Viator has refused to refund our money claiming they were not given 24 hours notice. We had no control over the flight cancellation, and therefore could not notify Viator any sooner. Please beware of using Viator, we will not be using them for future tours.

Kaleigh was an amazing tour guide. So knowledgeable. She took her time answering my questions. She also, knew where to go to match the stories to the exact place. I highly recommend her and this tour.

I was on a trip to celebrate my 25th birthday with my brother! A superb experience that I recommend to everyone. The visit to the city center was very pleasant, little anecdotes from our superb guide Karine 👌and the icing on the cake we arrived in a café to take the virtual tour with the headset (first time I had this experience), I didn't really not disappointed. Intuitive, immersive and very moving! I 200% validate this activity ☺️

I’ve had only virtual tours from this provider but I will be going on an in-person tour the next time I’m in Amsterdam. We had a lovely walking experiences with Vince for last few weeks, got to know the historical significance of the specific areas that we walked around. He always has good recommendations for cafes, places to eat around. Sunday relaxing walk along-with meeting interesting people from different background and cultures. We recently completed a week-long stay in Amsterdam. The trip was planned on short notice, due to frequently changing Covid rules. As part of our visit, we arranged three private tours through Amsterdam Experiences. From our initial contact through the completion of the tours, Amsterdam Experiences service was exemplary. Kathrine was able to arrange full-day tours of the Delft and The Hague, Tulips and Windmills and a private canal boat tour, all on a few weeks' notice. This was particularly remarkable, given we were visiting at one of the busiest times of the year. Our tour guides Jeroen and René were excellent. Knowledgable, organized, fun to be with, and the tours were well-paced. As well-travelled Americans living in Europe, it was a great experience!!!

We had a great time with our guide, Chris. He was fantastic to be with, energetic, and extremely knowledgeable about Amsterdam. We got to see and learn a great deal in the few hours we were together, which included a superior canal ride. He was definitely one of the best guides I have used over the years. We had a great 1/2 day with him.

The Anne Frank tour by Stephan is an amazing tour filled with history, photos during Anne's life and excerpts from her diary all while walking on the very streets Anne and her family had walked. A very respectful and touching tour.

This was hands down best tour I’ve ever been on. Violeta was outstanding taking us through the Van Gogh and Moco museums. She has high energy and interesting details. She really new the subject matter and made it so much fun. Awesome!!

Your tour was brilliant, we had an excellent time, such a great experience.( family of 3 with a 4 years old) You made everything so so easy and enjoyable for us. We got picked up at the exact hour from our place In Amsterdam. We then arrived shortly in Zaanse Schans where Ingrid was waiting for us. We then visited the windmills, cheese factory and clog shop .Ingrid got Scarlett a hot chocolate( the whole village of Zaanse Schans smelled of chocolate that morning) . After that we got in the cab and went for lunch ; had a lovely meal in this very nice restaurant ( burgers and salad) . Another ride after lunch and around 2 o’clock we got to Keukenhof where we had an amazing time . Spent there around 2 hours and we then headed back to Amsterdam. It was really that easy , we felt like celebrities being picked up from various locations and dropped off somewhere else :), minimum effort from our side but maximum satisfaction! We want to say a massive thank you to you and all your team! You were/ are great!

Amsterdam Experiences helped me organize a proposal on a private tour. They were incredibly helpful every step of the way. They were prompt in responding while planning the event, which really helped make the whole thing less stressful. They also gave helpful suggestions and were very invested in helping me get the details of the proposal perfect. In the end, both the actual tour and proposal were memorable. My girlfriend (now fiance) loved the proposal. We had a great time visiting Keukenhof Castle with our tour guide and enjoyed a picnic on the beach. Can’t recommend Amsterdam experiences enough.

If there were 6 or more stars I would tick them all! I have recently been "travelling" on Stephans virtual tours. I even make the effort to get up at 4.30am at times to travel along. He is a fantastic tour guide - he makes every single tour enjoyable and interesting. He obviously does a tremendous amount of research prior to the tour and has a wealth of historical information. Because the tours are interactive we can ask questions and he always has an educated answer. It's like the best history lesson, we have so much fun along the way. He has a really good sense of humour. His tours are varied and cover everything from the historical centre to the zoo to the fun park to riding on his bike and kayaking the canals..........you name it and he will give it a go. I do hope to be back in the Netherlands one day to book an in person tour with him. In the meantime, I would highly recommend him for the best Amsterdam experience or any city/country experience. His knowledge spreads well beyond the Netherlands.

What an incredible experience! Stephan is so talented as a tour guide and makes everyone feel like family. This particular tour took us to the Atlantic Ocean in France, where we enjoyed the most beautiful sunset on the beach. And we marveled at the immense sea monster skeleton that resides there. Yes, a sea monster! What fun when Stephan sat inside the monster's jaws to give us a sense of scale of the creature.
