    My interactions with Deliveroo yesterday represent the single worst customer experience I have ever had with a company in any business or field. I will try to be brief and not go into too much detail. I made an order that, when we got closer to the delivery time, I noticed had a peculiar message attached to it. Apparently, there were no available drivers. Deliveroo somehow considered it fair game to take my money and promise me and my family the food we were hungry for, without knowing how to even deliver the food (this was from a restaurant in the city center that we had ordered from before, mind you). Fast forward to 1.5 hours after I made the initial order and several interactions with the support personnel through a highly concealed chat function, I was met with no understanding whatsoever. We cancelled the order, Deliveroo will keep my money away from me for 5-10 days. I assume that means a few months on a regular time scale. Obviously, I ended up ordering from one of their competitors again. And get this: they delivered on time. Never again.

    This is outrageous. Deliveroo driver didnt ring the bell and he just left the food on the street. And someone took it! Can you believe this? 40 minutes before this we had other delivery from your company and it was delivered without a problem. Who would leave food on the street without ringing a bell? Additionally, our name and address is on the bill which is attached to the bag so you left our private information on the street?! This is not acceptable according to any standards. Incredibly poor action by Deliveroo. If the driver left it in front of our door, but not the building door, we would understand it. If the driver ring the bell and we were not at home or not answering the door, again we would understand it, but this is incredibly wrong.

    I ordered a burger and hot chicken wings. Deliveroo just delivered the small burger. After contacting them they were not delivering the missing item instead they were just refunding! What about food and delivery charges I paid? Why am I suppose to re-order, pay delivery charges and order minimum of 10 euros again? For companies mistakes why am I suppose to suffer monetary loss as well as stay hungry? I am never using this service again

    I ordered from KFC waited 34 minutes and the order never came, it said it arrived while I was waiting outside the whole time. I wish I read the reviews before because the customer service is just as bad, they can’t remake my order apparently and now I have to wait 48 hours to get a refund. Never again, for the love of god just use Ubereats or Thuisbezorgd

    I wish I've read the reviews before ordering. Service is catastrophically bad. Paid for my food, driver marked it as delivered, but I never received it. Support told me their system shows they tried to contact me. They never did. My phone nor my doorbell never rang. Food was NOT at my front door. They refuse to give me a refund. Please use Uber eats or any other app instead.

    They are thiefs I am really happy they announced the will close the business in town in November. Do not order food for them, if do put ur mind you will get scammed . The costumers service is horrible because the company is leaving the town they are scamming the costumers.

    Ordered, waited 79 minutes and the order didnt arrive 🤣 called deliveroo and i can get a refund in 5 to 10 workdays. Not impressed but hey what can you expect after this company switched to the zzp system... Happy to hear that this awful company is going out of business, finally the people in the office lose their jobs. Bye!!

    Terrible delivery service, the riders that work at Deliveroo are the worst delivery drivers I have ever seen. They don’t show up, spill the food, open your food and snack on it while bringing it to you. Every time I call support they are more useless than the drivers.

    I have ordered food driver marked as delivered and never received it. Also they do not refund the money because the driver marked it as delivered. This like stealing money maybe a good thing they are leaving the market. Do not order from them they are thieves.,

    Worst delivery service ever had in my life. 3 orders, 3 hours delayed, a lot of food wasted, still waiting for the refund. We ordered from their website the first time and paid with credit card. After 30 minutes the website says that the order was delivered but no one ring our bell. So we call the restaurant and he confirmed us that someone came, pick up the order. So we have been contacted the first time from Deliveroo, hearing that there was a problem with the payment and that I will receive a refund, but that I need to make another order. I made another order and paid with Ideal, after 30 minutes we received a call from the raider telling us that he was arrived, 10 kms far away from us. We told the raider that he had the wrong address and gave the good one. After 15 minutes still no order, and on the website was marked as “Delivered” exactly one minute after the call of the rider. So we call the restaurant again, and then we received another call from Deliveroo, telling that our address in the system was wrong, and that we had to another order, this time we received a voucher for it. After that we made the third order, and obviously changed the address in our deliveroo account, we saw that the raider was going in the wrong direction again...fortunately the restaurant is been extremely clear to explain to him he had to go to another address. In the main while, I received the first refund, but after few minutes I also was charged again exactly for the same amount, I called them and all I received is “send a screenshot to this email address”. On top of that, being constantly in contact with the restaurant I found out that they processed also the previous 2 orders and that for them was an horrible situation as well as they were literally wasting their food, as the first two raiders probably just threw away the orders didn’t finding us. Lack of professionalism and respect for the customers that choose you, but it was a good lesson, all 4 of us and our friends will never choose this obscene company anymore in our life and I strongly recommend to don’t do it neither.

    A big SCAM! Ordered placed at 20:40 and arrived at 22:30 (!!!), completely cold. They refused to refund me after waiting more than one hour and 2 hours later after receiving the order which I asked them to cancel already, they gave me 3€ credit (not even a refund!) for an order of 17€!

    Terrible company! I wanted use a promotion code, but accidentally chose the wrong credit card. I changed the credit card, then the promotion code can no longer be used.... Contacted the customer service (which is a joke), told me they can't do nothing... First time trying and the last time, what a waste of time! Avoid this company at all cost!

    NEVER ordering from them again. We placed an order an hour ago, reached out to customer service to confirm the order was received and the updated delivery time. An hour later, they responded and said the shop was close for the day. Then they refused to refund money and offered credits. They still agreed to a refund but it was a total waste of an hour wait and 30 min chatting to them about something that was never gonna come. Never again.

    The restaurant served me the wrong dish and wanted to send me a new one. Deliveroo refused to send a new rider. They did refund me the dish, but I can't eat it due to allergies. Now I paid almost €10 for some tiny breads and hummus. When I called with customer service they just said that this is their policy. The restaurant doesn't have riders of their own, so they rely on Deliveroo.

    Always always always problems with deliveroo. This time was the worst. My order apparently was taken by the wrong rider so he delivered it to the other address. And the other person’s order was supposed to be delivered to my address but still wasn’t delivery (I guess they delivered both orders to the other person so I was left with nothing). Meanwhile I’m contacting deliveroo all they could do is deliveroo credit and it took them one hour to do that, which of course meant deliveroo closes at 10 and they won’t deliver anything. Will use the deliveroo credit and will never order from them again….. can’t compare it to Takeaway.

    Food was on its way, but never arrived. Support said they can offer a refund, but before I could tell them this was the umpteenth time this happened they disconnected. Maybe it’s for the better, time to stop ordering so much food and definitely time to stop ordering from Deliveroo.

    We ordered from Deliveroo in Utrecht. But, the food didn’t arrive and they just mentioned the food is deliver. After got in touch with the customer service they mentioned there should be a mistake. As it was your first order it takes more time to refund your money. Worst experience ever. Even one star is a lot for this company.

    First you lie and tell me that the shop may be closed. Even when it is accepting orders on your app. Then when i see the food is delivered but not at my house. You lie and tell me that the system has made a mistake in my address. And that it would take 8 to 10 days for me to get my money back. Ridiculous. Would have taken stars away if i had the choice. So now im stuck with less for the next 10 days and have to put up with their fake bafoonery of being sorry. I uninstalled your application from my phone. I would rather eat my own toenail than order from you again. Because this is the second or third time you messed up my orders.

👍 Nice place and friendly staff. Th food was good and they have gluten-free bread as an alternative. I liked the hummus sandwich but it should have a bit more of vegetables because it was more bread than hummus and the arugula together.
