    I had sometime during my visit conference in Amsterdam and popped into the Rolex store to see if there is anything I can purchase. At the time there was only one sales advisor and he was speaking to someone who was picking up their watch. I was not greeted on entry beside security looking at me in an unpleasant way, ignored whilst in there. In frustration I ask is any watch available for purchase, he replies that I look at the front as that is where they are, I look to see to see that there is only Rolex lady's watches. This is disappointing behaviour from this Rolex boutique, I believe I was only treated like this as I was the only brown or British person in there.

    I recently had my vintage Rolex datejust serviced via Schaap en Citroen in Amsterdam. My experience with the boutique was overall positive, I'm very happy with the end result, however I would have liked more effort in the communications and interaction I had (this is more so with the actual service centre than the boutique). As a brand like Rolex and the price tag that follows I think commandeds that level of service. For example, when inquiring about replacement parts suggested on the vintage watch, it took a number of days to get a hold of the staff to ensure this wouldn't be Frankensteined together from contemporary and older parts. Another example is slight damage to the case I noticed upon return of the watch (my crown tube needed to be replaced for water proof purposes, noticible damage is around the the crown now, see pic). This wasn't mentioned in any email communication or stated when I received the watch back. Something a luxury brand needs to be accountable for, in my opinion. Besides these, and a few other points of contention, the outcome of the service was excellent. I would use the service again, but I would be more vigilant next time on my expectations, and hope that they would be heard and respected given Rolex's stature in the market. Thankyou to all the staff who helped me with the service!

    Best place in Amsterdam (maybe the Netherlands) to buy Rolex and / or Patek. Nicely located in the PC Hoofdstraat. Most Rolex available. Rolex steel sports watches in high demand not in store. Also one of the view authorized Patek Philip dealers in the Netherlands. Service could be a bit more personal in this top range of horlogerie.

    BLUF: If you are looking for service look someplace else. Update- I received my watch back a week after writing this which is the good news. On the downside they rushed the service and a screw in the band that was coming lose before turning the watch in came lose again 3 days after getting the watch back. Where is my watch! Your service center and store are not answering. You quoted me 12 weeks for service and it has been 16. Answer my calls or contact me.

    Went to this store and decided to purchase a rolex after about 20 mins viewing and consideration. Salesperson was very nice, however store manager was not. After i have decided for the purchase, the store manager decided that he was not going to sell the particular watch to me because I am a foreigner. The tone was not very nice and sounded really rude to me. Walked away disappointed and angry.

Lars is evidently passionate about watches as we had an amazing conversation and he showed me some cool watches in his collection. Arthur was also a great and down to earth guy and I enjoyed talking to him about watches. Both were so generous and kind to not only let me try on different pieces, but also gave me free gifts with my purchase that I find great value in! Thank you for a great experience and I cannot wait to go back!

I asked to speak to another associate & he wouldn’t let me talk to anybody and hung up the phone on me. I am a watch collector and I have a nice variety of about 6 watches. Was very disappointed in the customer service I received today. In person I have gone to the store previously and I had a good eye for it and received good service but over the phone was absolutely the worst service I have ever received and this is coming from a major watch company is very disappointing
