Amazing initiative and experience! Thank you Plastic Whale for taking on such an important work. This activity made myself and our whole team even more aware of the rising problem of plastic and waste in our waters. We will be back again! Keep up the good work!

We went plastic fishing as a team to celebrate the launch of our newest collection, made of recycled plastic. Dealing with Plastic Whale has been a joy from start to finish. Our skippers for the day did a fantastic presentation about the story of Plastic Whale, which was very inspiring to hear. We spent just under 2 hours on the canal, on 2 separate boats and could not believe the amount of plastic we removed from the canals. We could not recommend it more for a team event, not only is it a fun afternoon, but it felt so good to contribute even a little to cleaner canals in Amsterdam.

I went as part of a group holiday in Amsterdam, 15 of us in two boats, and we had such a brilliant time. It was fun and really satisfying to help clean up the canals, all while seeing this beautiful city from the water. We collected a surprising amount of rubbish! A few people passing by saw what we were doing and called out 'well done' or 'thank you' which was a lovely bonus! Patrick and Siebe were wonderful Captains, and Patrick explained the history of the Plastic Whale and how they started plastic fishing, which was a great introduction. If you're looking for something a bit different in Amsterdam - a different way to see the city and even get involved in keeping it beautiful - I really recommend this! Thank you Plastic Whale for a fantastic afternoon!

We went as a team as part of our company's "Art of Kindness" initiative, in 2 separate boats. We learned how the company came about and how they've been keeping the canals clean from plastic and other rubbish. It was a great experience, as well as a lovely way to see the sights, and we loved knowing that we left Amsterdam a litle bit cleaner than how we found it :)

We had a great team activity going around the historic Amsterdam canals and fishing up the plastic, cans, bottles and lots of other trash. Thanks to the volunteers of Plastic Whale to make this possible, great work!!

Amazing team, great activity. There was a wonderful educational intro at the start of the sail. All nets, gloves and some towels were provided. We managed to haul a heap of rubbish out the canals. I recommend this to any team wanting to bond and make a difference at the same time. Thanks Floris. We’re in this together, for plastic free land & sea 💚 🐳💪!

Great team building experience and great to see that the boats are made from 100% recycled and recyclable PET bottles. Happy to support this initiative and it felt good to take part in raising awareness and collecting even more bottles for the production of even more boats - and at the same time cleaning Amsterdam's canals. The skippers were funny and also good local guides, helping to get to know Amsterdam from the canal perspective.

What a great team building activity! We opted for the Cleanup and it was fantastic! Maartje and her team created a great atmosphere for an activity that didn't seem very “glamorous” at first, but in the end the whole team (there were 37 of us) really enjoyed it😊. A small impact from us, for a cleaner environment/planet . Once again, a big THANK YOU for who you are and what you do, Maartje & Plastic Whale ♥! Highly recommended!

I organised an event with my company - we were with 40 people on a few boats. We had the best time (even in the rain) doing something for our city! Thank you so much PlasticWhale team :)

Great day on the canals. With 2 classes from ROC Westpoort we collected 30 kg of waste in the canals. We had a great time

This is activity is ticking the following boxes: having fun, team building, experiencing Amsterdam from a different perspective and most importantly doing something good. Well organized!

There was a group of 17 of us, and we went on three boats, having booked only about 10 days in advance. I phoned in advance with a query and communication was good. The boat pier was also easy to find. We all had a lovely time, and I was appreciative of the easy going nature of our boat captain, and the gentle attempts to ensure that we all knew each other once it found our that our group were all meeting each other for a social (and socially responsible) activity after a conference. Thank you Plastic Whale!

We spent a wonderful evening with the team from Plastic Whale B.V. on the canals of Amsterdam. The organization went very smoothly and the support was great. The duration of the event was perfect. We had an introductory presentation about the story of Plastic Whale which was very inspiring to hear. Additionally they described the problems of plastic pollution in the water as well which was very informative. After that we spent approximately 2 hours on the boats to fish the plastic out of the canals. At the end we all got together again and had a nice wrap up with some groups pictures and the announcement of the winners of our competition - the competition is a well-kept secret, so you need to do a plastic fishing event yourself if you are curious ;) Overall, I would definitely recommend Plastic Whale for private groups or companies as a fun activity to see the beautiful Amsterdam but also to do something meaningful for the environment.

Despite the rain and the cold we had a very good experience. The captain Erik was very passionate about Plastic Whale's work and also was able to be a real tour guide and told us many interesting facts about the city and the canals. Always great to do a canal tour through Amsterdam and even better if you can combine it with some social responsible activity.

An unforgettable experience and in my opinion one of the best team events to do in Amsterdam. Our team had fun although it was pouring and we are proud to have contributed to a world with less plastic waste in it. Absolute 5 star! Go Plastic Whale!

Super team activity! The weather was not great, but Plastic Whale provided reusable poncho's on board. They also respected the COVID-19 measures. Captains were fun and kind. Overall, we had a great afternoon! Thank you and keep up the great work :)

My son really wanted to go back out on a boat and I wanted to find something to do that was a little different, so I used AirBNB Experiences to do a little research. I found this activity on AirBNB Experiences and Nolan loved it. The captain of our boat was very kind and Nolan loved every minute of our 3-hours boat ride. I would highly recommend!

This is the best teambuilding activity I've ever had! There was warm gluhwein, the skipper was a super fun guy and he provided us with poncho's as the weather was very Dutch (aka raining). We caught some very original 'fish': a football, wine glass and a menu for shots. I am definitely going to do this again in summer!

Our company had a plastic fishing event with Plastic Whale and it was super nice! Our skipper was very fun and took us to nice spots in the canals to collect some plastic and trash. The drinks and snacks were great as well. At the end we all got a little treat from them ;-) I highly recommend this activity!
