This is the second of the Pets Place in the Da Costabuurt and Kinkerbuurt areas in Amsterdam. It is a "big chain" store for Amsterdam / Netherlands but also has local people working there. It can be very frustrating at times, with the Covid restrictions and and supply issues. But all that may be past now? My doggies drag me there all the time when we go for walks! Just walk right in the open front door and get their treats or food. I get frustrated with their lack of consistent inventory, inconsistent staffing and difficult to maneuver aisles. The big one on the Kinkerstraat is definitely nicer. I was surprised they kept this open, but it is a goldmine in real estate. The local (family owned) pet store further down Bilderdijk is much better for me. They know me by name, always have what I want and is a better prices indeed.

I liked that store before, I always bought food and another things to my pet. But the last time I met irritated and rude consultant, I dont know what happened with her, bad day or something. But for sure I won't go there back!

Great place and easy to reach!! They have almost everything. The only item I was missing was the cat scratch SMALL (they have the huge ones). Ah, and tags for cats, they only have them for dogs. For the rest, great selection!! They also sell fishes and aquariums items. Birds, hamsters, dogs, cats, rabbits all included. No reptiles items, it seems, better Amazon for those.

Good assortment. I had some issues ordering something that took a way longer than expected. But that was a very special demand. Anything else is fine and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Perfect for those who want to buy some pet food, but the assortment is not great. For me the aquarium section was important but they barely have anything. If your not looking for aquarium stuff dont mind my comment

Very well equipped, has something for every pet. They treat the animals in the shop with respect and good set ups (big cages, hide spots etc). Definitely my favourite place to shop for supplies for my rodents.

Great pet store for items! However, rabbits on display were kept in very small show cages. Not sure if they're in them all day and night? And the use of un-natural fluffy bedding which can be dangerous for small animals were used.

The price is so good. it's open 30 min more than the other pet shops, closes at 6:30 pm. The location is very easy to get there. Highly recommended :)

This shop has a few fish lovers, good selection of happy healthy fish and some very cool strains of species. well above the normal chain pet shops. Well done boys and girls keep up the good work.

Very unfriendly lady behind the kassa. She behaved in a very rude way to a non Dutch speaking person.
