Great little shop with amazing fresh fish, sea food and herring sandwiches. Just standing placed but worth the trip there for quick lunch

Fresh and delicious! Absolutely must try spot for fish. Try the Herring with pickles and onion and get the kibbeling too! A great snack with amazing flavors.

Excellent place where a lot of locals go to. The staff is friendly and the variety is just huge! There are so many kinds of processed fish (salted, smoked etc), different fish-based spreads and so on. The highlight of this place for me is the kibbeling dish - small pieces of deep fried fish in batter, with a nice sauce. It’s similar to UK style “fish” part of fish and chips except that the fish bits are small and the sauce is good. The price is very reasonable and was around 10 euro for two descent size portions. This fish products shop is a must if you are a fish lover and worth visiting 100%

One of the best kibbeling places I've tried (and I'm fairly obsessed with them!). The batter is very light and so you can taste the meatiness of the fish easily. Would be great if they fried it fresh on the spot though.

I ordered a seafood platter for a work gathering, and it was incredibly delicious. It was beautifully and securely packaged, and the service was excellent.

The fish was super fresh and fried so well that it didn’t feel heavy or oily! We spend around £7 for 1 portion. Must visit.

10/10!!! Would definitely recommend it. Their kibbling is to die for; so crispy and fresh yet light even though it’s friend. The sauce goes well with the fish.

I am biased because I live 1 minute from the fish monger ;-) Friendly owners. Fresh kibbeling, nice herring. Oysters, grey shrimp, mussels, cod, those little shells for pasta vongole, lots of choice of other white fish besides cod, salmon etc. They always play nice old school music in the shop. They don’t have a huge selection of fresh fish and I understand why: when you are a small business owner you don’t want to throw away thousands of euros of fresh fish at the end of the day. However what they have is fresh and good quality. If you have a request which they don’t have, then they can always order it for you, so you can have it the next day… fresh.

I visited this place several times. Whenever I visit Amsterdam from London...I mainly go there to get my fix of a large portion Kibbeling and I enjoy them so very much - everytime!!!!!

Best kibbiling fish in town

Less than 3 euros for a fried cod fish sandwich. Went twice in two days. Fantastic clean and fresh taste. Go for an inexpensive snack. And get a belegen (cheese) sandwich on a multigrain roll w lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers directly across the street on the corner, too. Share both sandwiches. But you won't want to.

they provide a very good and friendly service, which is rare in the city of Amsterdam today. Have to try their fried mussel , its yummy and price is reasonable...
