The view and area is great, but the service ruins it. I can understand someone having an off-day, but we’ve come here twice, different servers, same negative attitude. We aren’t tourists, and spoke Nederlands, but didn’t matter, also heard the server being rude to other tables. That being said, lower your expectations, get a beer, enjoy the view, and ignore the “service”.

Very expensive for average food. 2 orders of fries and one cheese sticks and 3 bottled juices for 24 euros. The seating outside is also quite old with worn out tables. I know inflation and all but come on…

We had a team uitje of 30 people ending up at Paviljoen Aquarius. The team was excellent and very friendly. Of course, with good weather on our side and a gorgeous view, we just had a great time. Thank you, guys!

Disappointing. Being serviced by a completely disinterested waitress (at least one of them), seating makes no sense as some benches are too far from the table to eat. Pasta was good, salad not great value for money. I don't tip unless service at least makes me feel welcome. I felt quite the opposite. Will not return here.

EXTREMELY RUDE MANAGER Waiter was nice to us but manager was treating them so so badly! Sorry to see this people working with customer service. Nice place to go, but terrible management of the place. Don’t recommend it at all.

Lovely location with amazing view to the Nieuwe Meer lake. Super kind staff. They even veganized the quinoa salad for me. Highly recommended.

Expensive and bad service. If the older guy at the bar thinks he is funny someone please inform him that he is not. I would say that he is rather rude.

Terrible place, they did not allow us to have the coffees we bought from them on their tables, while allowing anyone else to sit down. We asked multiple times and said we would pay additinal money to sit on the tables! And despite the sign that only take away were allowed. Do they hate foreigners? I don't know, but it felt like discrimination. Don't go there!

Very odd policy of seating people. Some people are allowed to sit in and others aren't. An employee said it's with reservations but I'm pretty sure that the elderly ladies didn't do a reservation upfront...

Don’t come on a busy day and expect good or friendly service. I have experienced at multiple occasions how one of the member staff (or even the owner itself?) yells at his clients, being verbally very aggressive. Unacceptable behavior to me, shouting out loud like this. And this in front of children that were just waiting for their ice cream. When you comment on this you get a reply: “Customers think they are kings, but I run this place and I am a Ceasar here”. It was a horrible experience and the last time I ever stepped into that restaurant since I see there is no improvement over time and the overall attitude is completely inappropriate. We come very often to the lake as it offers a great place to relax. The restaurant is the only place around where you can buy something or go to the toilet (maybe something for the local municipality to think about and change), so they obviously benefit from their monopoly. I highly recommend to bring own food and drinks and avoid this place.

€6,50 for a plastic cup of mediocre wine, kids have to pay €1 for the toilet even though we are customers. When you send your kid inside to buy something, they don’t give back proper change! Unfriendly person behind the bar. Recommend you bring your own food or eat somewhere else.

The guy who runs this place is a malcontented jerk. We bought some iced coffees and were sitting on the terrace when our kid had to use the bathroom and he refused us saying we had to spend more money!

They have only one choice of food which is a piece of toasted ham and cheese sandwich which was not that good. Everuthing else is either ice cream or snacks. Plus they had trouble accepting cash, only pin.

Do yourself a favor and don't go there. Very expensive and the service is awful.

Prepared to have a nice walk and go have lunch at this place but even though it says it was open it was closed. Please update your schedules if this business remains active.

Pretty place on the water. Unfortunately this is the 3rd time within weeks that google tells me a place is open but upon arrival I find it closed. So no idea how the food would have been but the view is nice - and calorie free.... 😉

Nice location. Service could be improved. Came walking there on a nice day for lunch. It was not available. Person staffing was rude. Wish them all the best.

While the opening times show that the place should have been open, it was closed completely. It's a shame since it's a sunny day and I'm sure many people would enjoy some lunch after a day at the lake. Owner should update the opening times to avoid future mishaps.
