Fantastic tour of the city centre by Otto, explaining the culture and recent history of Amsterdam. Highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in why Amsterdam is such a tolerant and diverse city.

Joined the walking tour, and the tour guide, Otto is very nice and funny. We enjoyed the tour a lot.

Very informative tour by a friendly local, Otto. We found out a lot about the history of Amsterdam and the Netherlands, as well as learning about the Dutch way of “tolerance”. The tour spanned a large portion of history from the 1600s to more modern times. We stopped by a lot of beautiful spots and plenty chances to take photos of the beauty Amsterdam has to offer. Recommend if you’re visiting for the first time!

The tours are very, very good, but having Sem as our guide was amazing and made it 100 times better. He’s friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable, so you get to know a lot of things about Amsterdam you wouldn’t know otherwise. He’s gonna honestly answer all questions and you will certainly have a good laugh with him. The tours overall are just great, if you have the chance you should totally give it a try!

Stan led our tour. He's a fantastic and curious guide who wanted to know more about the participants and where they came from. He's spontaneous, accommodating and opinionated. All-round super informative tour about dutch history, modern dutch life and politics.

Jaap walked us through the lovely city of Amsterdam and shared cool historical, political and personal anecdotes with us. We enjoyed our tour with him very much and would recommend his tour to anyone who wants to visist Amsterdam!

Otto was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. He explained everything in detail about Amsterdam. 10/10

Just took the Alternative Tour with Otto and Jacob (latter being the "understudy" for the day) . It was awesome. I learned a lot about how Amsterdam became as liberal as it is today and why the Anarchist movement had such an ongoing effect on the culture of the City. So much so that even John Lennon wanted to be part of it (and missing the point completely in my opinion). Overall, great experience and very cool guides that are open for any questions and even giving hints on were to go if you want to get away from the most touristic areas.

Otto was great on the Alternative Walking Tour. Enjoyed the personal anecdotes that he was able to throw in to the tour and felt his enthusiasm and love for the city in the way he presented it to us.
