I am on a holiday with my 5 year old daughter who loves being around animals. This was the perfect place for her. We got there pretty easily and she spent a good 3+ hours here. It’s such a cute place with very friendly staff and it’s FREE OF COST. There was pony riding, animal petting & feeding, some craft activities.. A super fun experience for kids to come home with a smile.

Lovely little petting farm that we stumbled across during our time in Amsterdam. We were able to pet the animals who were very friendly and there were clean toilet and hand washing facilities available.

I have known this nice, cozy petting zoo in De Pijp ever since I lived in the area and this is 39 years and I have also lived in the area since then and so does my girlfriend. I think it is really very nice and cozy and beautiful here and my age is 40 years old. and I still come here now

Such a fun place for the little ones! Close contact with sheep, goats, HUGE bunnies, pigs, geese and ducks. They also have a sand pit, a playground with riding toys and a water foundation play station.

Very cute hidden gem for little ones! Surrounded by tall buildings and concrete, they've created a very cute petting zoo with even a patch of green. It's clean and the kids are allowed almost everywhere. There are donkeys, a pony, rabbits, mini rabbits, pigs, lots of birds, and goats(sheep? I forgot) . Of course, as it goes, the kids love the toy table and the wobbleplayhorse the most. Can't wait to come back for one of the organized activities! As an adult, I really enjoyed the community of kabouters living in the heemtuin.

This is a petting zoo. Almost all animals are accessible for actual petting, which makes it a lovely place. The animals are used to kids and are quiet and friendly. They offer a broad range of educational classes for (young) kids.

amazing farm in the center of city life. You get to see a lot of small animals living in a well maintained farm. The best part is that you get to pet the goats and sheep, who’re cute and lovely.

Very special petting zoo in the heart of Amsterdam, very keen on education with very fun workshops for the whole family. It is also possible to do an internship at the petting zoo for your training. The petting zoo has a great team that cares about their animals and the visitors who come by! Conclusion: highly recommended.

Perfect spot to take the kids on a weekend morning - clean, well-kept and with several different farm animals that the children can pet and learn about.

We love coming here. Volunteers are friendly. My child enjoys being around the goat and rabbits.

Nice for a 1-2 hours with young kids. They can pet the goats and bunnies. Play pretend with the farm tools, and play with some game of water pipes (get very wet). Nice in the overall.

Such a fantastic amenity for the area and a great place to spend an hour or two with little kids. You can actually get close and pet the animals and they've recently added a few fun water activities to the farm. Thanks to all the staff here for all the work you do - you do a great job!

This is adorable and in the middle of the city. Easy to get and such a nice place for kids. The animals are adorable and they have a good variety. I was surprise to find this place and my little one had a great time. They have sheeps, bunnies, guinea pig, hamsters, birds, ponies , pigs.
