Worst experience ever! I’ve never been mistreated in Bahrain as much as I have today! I was there with a couple of friends (mixed group) since their Instagram account says only mixed groups and couples are allowed. However, we were stopped at the gate because our male/female ratio was not 1:1. Can you imagine?! I’ve been to tons of beaches all around the world and never been stopped because of my gender! The rude receptionist literally asked us to get a random lady to make us a group of mixed couples! Was she asking us to get an escort? Maybe! Shame on you Solymar, shame on you!

How I see to much fake comment to raise the rating 😂 I will put 2 in the rating, only for the interior and clean white sand. The price-quality is absolutely inconsistent. They charge extra for towels 🤣for that price it turns out that I bought it and could keep it for myself To my request to open the beach umbrella, since I can not be in direct sunlight - the answer was one we can not because of the WIND, and of course I got sunburned and I had to take medicine Not recommended

Very beautiful beach, but very high prices for food and beverages. It feels like a VIP club. It would be great if you could keep it more accessible for everyone.

Two stars only for the ambience of the place. Impolite staff, not service minded and definitely not looking after its customers. If you are visiting Bahrain, this beach is nothing extra. Prices; 12 Bhd weekdays, 20bhd weekends and holidays. Menu prices are high for what you get!

1 star Awful awful awful, it’s dead/empty , horrible waiters , unprofessional , who doesn’t know what is Aperol spritz and Brut champagne. Tried to sell us wrong bottle. and you should know - they charge 20BD just to enter that empty place next to the construction site. First time in my life I saw something like that 😬We were so much disappointed, it was my birthday and the biggest mistake to choose this place ..

One of the worst beach places I’ve ever been to. They make you feel like you’re begging them to go in. With their strict “couple policy” that is so outdated. We went in on a guest list and there were 3 entry points just them making sure we were on the list cause we didn’t have girls with us. I’ve never felt so unwanted or cheap than I did there. It was like immigration border control. It’s the most pretentious and tackiest ghetto place I’ve seen. The ridiculous prices and the sun bed vs sun bed premium is so funny cause they’re literally scamming people for 2 extra inches. The toilets were so dirty and wet throughout the day the cleaners would go in just throw in a quick wipe and leave it for few hours. The food took an hour and we ordered fries that felt like they boiled them instead of fried. I don’t normally write reviews but I had to. If it wasn’t for the word limit I’d write more. It’s a 0/10 experience. And 100% would NOT recommend anyone with self respect to go there because it’s not worth it at all.

2022.06.05 An evening @solymar Bahrain in Amwaj. Very nice place for an Adults only beach. Sunset was very nice. 2022.02.21 I visited Solymar and took the tour of the place. Wow. They did a great expansion. Garden restaurant indoor and outdoor, beach club area, beach nightclub, and a sports bar. Wow. Very nice.

Bad experience, the fee that you pay for entry is not equal at all to the service that you get, there are 5 stars hotels with access to pool and beach and better service for same fee or less. The service is very slow not to mention that they keep you waiting for a very long time for something that you ordered from the menu and they tell you it’s on the way and after an hour of waiting they tell you it’s not available. Also, They close all showers and changing rooms after 7pm and only leave 1 open when there’re hundreds of people inside as they don’t close the place before midnight which makes 0 sense and leaves everyone waiting for 1 shower when there’re other free showers which they closed for no reason, really annoying.

Definitely the most beautiful and welcoming place in Bahrain ! Such friendly staff that are all so accommodating! The food and drinks variety is just out of this world ! 10/10 would recommend !

I enjoyed the beach and the services were excellent. The price should be affordable. I wish that the Ladies day can be on Saturday for example. One of the weekends day. So we can enjoy all day.

It is the best adult beach in the country, good facilities, very good service, excellent food and great party events. However one disappointing remark is that the music during morning hours is completely boring, a mix of slow, acoustic, classic lyrical pop & slow Mediterranean music which I believe is acceptable until noon maximum. When requested them politely for the possibility of changing the music, I was told “ boss says No and not possible!” and the person is charge at that time would not speak to me as well. Although other costumers were asking for the same request. Recommend to go after 1:30 pm for good music.

I visited this place recently and was surprised by the overpriced entrance fee of 50 BD, which doesn’t include any amenities—not even a towel—and you’re limited to the last row of sunbeds. Compared to other beach clubs like Nikki Beach Dubai, this place feels underwhelming, with a gloomy, artificial beach and no pool or sunset views worth mentioning. The drinks were disappointing at first; the pico na lada tasted like sugar milk, but the staff was friendly and changed it to a mojito after my feedback. On a brighter note, the seafood risotto in the garden area was amazing, and the service overall was attentive. While it had some highlights, the overall experience felt overhyped and not worth the cost.

The place is beautifully informed, and the service normal. Some things are not clear to everyone in the event of visiting the place for the first time ! When we tried to wash to leave the place, they told us that there was a malfunction!! it’s good if there was a swimming pool added on the Beach. And I hope to review the entry of the boys, even if it is a certain number, or there is a personal assessment in case they fear problems Towels were supposed to be included in the service for 15 dinars as the entrance fee, but other fees were charged! Or you have to bring your towel with you

Phhhhh… I’m shocked, came with friends, was very hungry, ordered risotto… they delivered it after 90 minutes!!!!! Can you imagine?!! Waitress unprofessional, just ignore … my friend ask owner to follow up and only after this… they made it. Definitely not recommended. Just stress. Overpriced. :(((

Initially thought me and my friends will just stay a bit in the afternoon. But we ended up staying late. The receptionist that assisted us greeted us right away and assisted us all the way to our beds. Exceeded our expectations! Definitely coming back!

The beach was nice, the drinks price was super good!!! The hookah was OK. Didn’t like how you have to pay to get into the beach. Towards the end of the night there was a night DJ party.

He tell me you need to pay 500 to Enter the beach from out side and you can’t talk to receptions just pay from out side then you can go i stay have hours out side to try to talk any one from reception no one coming and when I tell him talk to any one from the reception he don’t then he tell me go When i come to any place i need talk to anyone he have responsibility for the entrance not security because he don’t have any experience in hospitality and he don’t respect me

Good place for having a rest after looong week. Mango smoothie was really tasty! I would like to say thank you to Princess Rita, who showed care and attention 🙏🏻 the day was a little bit cold, and the blanket, which she brought without request, warmed my body and heart. Wow what a beautiful atmosphere and the food was delish. I had the fried cheese and Greek salad and my husband had the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were superb. The staff was more than helpful and the beautiful beach view with music made the evening very special. Highly recommend for a couple or even a group of friends. WOW!

First time visit to the beach with my friends and it was a great experience from the decors to the ambiance..warm welcome from the entrance to the hostess who showed us a good view spot where we could sit,relax and enjoy the whole entire view time but the waitress who served us was the one who scored all the points she was so amazing @ Rita thank you for your guidance through out the drink menu🙃 definitely will be back again 😍..

It's a very beautiful place to spend time with family. Clam and quiet. The service provided by them is good. Expecially master Radesh who was attending was very helping. I would recommend this place for a family vacation if you are not concerned about the price. Entry fee varies depending on the day. We went on a weekday with 15bd entery free, and children under age of 12 years were having free entry. Towels were charged extra. 3 bd for each. They wont allow water or any food items from outside. They dont provide normal mineral water, they have only fiji bottled water. Beach is neat and beautiful, but we won't get a sunset view.

The ratings in google are not encouraging. I came to visit just out of curiosity. They did not allow me in! They say “couples only”. Come on guys, its just a beach. I have been to many beach parties ALONE in Bahrain, and never denied entry. What makes you special?

I think the managers need to re evaluate the service before they lose more business. I went with a big group of guys and girls and unfortunately we couldn't all arrive at the same time and one of the girls who gives bracelets and charges the entrance fee, gave me and my girlfriends such a hard time about my guy friend not arriving at the same time as the girls. They kept questioning how many girls were in my group. I asked to speak to a manager because we definitely had enough girls in our group. They finally said "it's ok ' After that inside the club you have to get in a long line to order a beverage. Then they print out a drink request slip that you then have to find a bartender to give. The whole process takes forever. Then me and the girls I was with kept getting asked to move from the bar area, but we had to keep explaining that we were waiting on our drinks still. I will not be coming back and will definitely be warning other Americans not to waste time coming here

Misleaded information such as free entries got us into this place and was only allowing permissions to individuals depending upon their race is an absolute discrimination. Apparently, the place was “full” according to the staff who were in-charge of handing out the pass but turns out if you’re a fair skinned person, you’ve a place. I personally witnessed a couple entering the place when me & my friends were standing in-front of the counter. When my friend confronted the lady who was handling the entry didn’t even bothered to reply but walked away in negligence. Also during this period of time itself, I saw a crowd leaving however, the premises remained fully packed! I confronted a gentlefolk who was working in the place but that person dismissed the place being full and had confirmed to me that there are vacancies in the place to occupy us. These kind of behaviors & lies are totally unacceptable. I am completely disappointed by the actions of the Solymar Staff and I certainly will not recommend this place to anyone unless your skin is white.

Had a really good night last night. Was greeted at the door by a gorgeous hostess and taken to a table. Great vibe, great dj, great atmosphere, all the staff were sound and friendly. Owner came around to make sure everyone was having a good time and ensured the good times continued. Absolute gent of a lad. Two stunning dancers up around the dj booth too which gave the club a cool edge.

Not the best experience. As far as beaches in Bahrain go, this beach is well below average. When purchasing the pass, you'll find yourself dealing with confrontational staff, and they aren't usually accommodating or polite. There are elements of discrimination to determine who gets to enter (which is illegal in Bahraini law - so you can take legal action if you are denied entry based on your race for example, retain evidence). Once you are inside, the service is incredibly slow (even on a quiet day), and the beach is ok (nothing memorable). It is 2 star based on what I witnessed, but could easily be an exceptional place with better management.

Very fresh a cool place to visit and just relax on the water. I really enjoyed the ambiance and decor of the place during Jazz Festival. I would love to go back!

Nice for swimming, but there is no coral or much fish, empty, like most coastal seas in Bahrain. Also there is a barrier so you cannot swim further into the sea. Women: get in when there is free entry (check Solymar's IG). Otherwise it's overpriced for what it is. Also note this is a party beach but if you go earlier in the daytime you can just enjoy the sea and the sand. The sand is nice to run on, so soft.

Clean beach, suitable for youth, I enjoy their music, it’ needs a good budget, wish they lower their prices, but quite a good experience

Despite the fact that I had a lovely time at the beach and that the facilities were clean, some things could have been improved. The music selection was somewhat disappointing and could have complemented the serene beach atmosphere instead of causing a disturbance. I think it goes without saying that the entry tickets are too high… The food and drinks on the menu were mid and the prices were clearly commercialising on their rule against bringing in food and drink. The atmosphere is nice nonetheless, I really hope that some adjustments could be made to improve the overall experience.

Visiting from Qatar and i am very impressed. Been to other beach clubs in bahrain but i have to say Solymar is the best of all. We will definitely come back on our next trip.

A very disappointing experience! The place is way below expectations, funny how you are not allowed to bring your water bottle inside the beach! I would understand if it was food, but water? Also, I never tan and I get burnt easily. They said they cannot open the umbrella because it was a bit windy; which is not an excuse! They had the ones for staff open, claiming that those can withstand wind. They should have similar ones for customers. They also don’t sell the essentials (sunblock, tanning oils .. etc) which is usually available wherever we go (forgot the sunblock at home and couldn’t enjoy my time at all). To top all that, funny how the toilets do not have bidet sprays! We’re NOT in Europe and we’re not expats! We expect to be able to wash ourselves after using the toilet! Hygiene level? ZERO. In addition to the juices and food not being delicious AT ALL (the burger was super oily and watermelon juice tasted bad). Very expensive food as well as the entry fee, and funny how we pay for towels while we get them for free everywhere else. The sea was not clean, they can easily clean it and remove any greens for a better experience, but it seems that they don’t care at all. Oh and the music? Super lame, we thought the vibes and DJ would be way better but all they had on was lame music. Never again! Don’t waste your time and money on such a place.

Nice place with amazing bed and comfortable sunbed . All facilities are clean and made form guests comfortable stay. I really appreciate service that I received from amazing waitress Sam who was appearing always whenever I needed her , understood all my requests and provided pleasant service.
