Not sure if it’s one PCP or a practice policy, but I’ve never had a doctor deny prescriptions for long-term chronic conditions simply to get a member in for an annual wellness visit. My pharmacy tries to repeatedly refill a prescription I’ve had for 8 years, but it’s denied. Then I get a phone call saying I need to come in for a visit. Problem is, they’re booked up for weeks after my prescription is denied and now I’m dealing with withdrawal symptoms of the medication. This has happened to multiple people I know who used this office and has happened to me multiple times. Insurance companies often have incentives tied to the percentage or number of members going in for annual visits (it reduces claims cost, members on risk-adjusted plans need their conditions documented annually for the insurance/provider group to get reimbursed, or whatever other reason). As someone that works in the healthcare industry, I’ve never seen anyone suggest the physicians deny long-term prescriptions to drive up annual visit rates, but here I am experiencing it on the other side.

As a new patient, I really liked the office. People were so nice & helpful. Also very quick and effective. My new doctor, Dr. Trucyy Le, I really enjoyed her kindness, made me feel welcomed and secured. Explained things very well and thorough. Finally found a good physician I feel comfortable.

I am a new patient here and checking in was quick and painless. I used the "pre-check in" option that they have online and it really helped the process. The nurse at the front desk, Armando, was truly kind and professional. He greeted all patients that entered and left the building. The nurses, Michelle & Gloria, are amazing as well. Any information with my appointment today AND future appointments were explained clearly by them. My PCP, Dr. Melissa Guiterrez, is amazing! She is very informative and professional. She listened to my concerns and gave me a peace of mind knowing I will get care from her and the MemorialCare Medical Group staff. I felt so comfortable talking to her, that andy other questions I had were so easy to express to her. My overall experience with Dr. Guiterrez was nothing short of amazing! She listened to my concerns, and gave me her honest opinion and advice. She asked me about my history and family history of health issues/illnesses. I walked out of her office feeling very comfortable knowing I found a doctor that's right for me. The facility is very clean and organized. Each of the nurse's station are also clean. The room I was taken into was sanitized before my arrival. Overall, I'm glad I chose MemorialCare Medical Group as my new provider. I hope I get the same experience I did today in future appointments to come!

I have been to many Dr's and Dr. Tan is the best. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I find it a bit odd that the receptionists are often wearing their masks incorrectly every time I come in considering that this is a medical facility but aside from that, every interaction I’ve had with a doctor or phlebotomist has been very positive. Dr Le and Luz the phlebotomist are very warm.

Dr Le is very informative and helpful. I feel safe and respected by Dr Le and all employees during my visits. They respect my privacy, keep my information confidential, and I have no problem waiting for my appointment

I had my visit in person and absolutely love it. I absolutely love their bedside manner they’re very caring they listen to you they walk you through steps in order to better your Health. They answered all my questions and concerns. I would recommend MCMG to friends and family as well as to everyone.

She was very knowledgeable and listened. She resolved my issue. Also gave advice for the future which I appreciated b/c it showed she cared.

Its November 9 and I came to memorial care medical group at 1:51 and we talked to the receptionist abecause my brother had a physical check up and I made an appointment a month ago because I love to be well advanced on all appointments I did but the company didn’t even sheduled it in which is the company’s fault and I asked for a leave of absance and took my brother out of school and he is not even going to be attended because they dont have spots available until next year and next year im not going to have insurance thats why I made the appoinment a month an advance .Which as the receptionist fault and we talked to the receptionist Andrea and she wasn’t helpful in which made me think where was her problem solving skills and how was she hired. Also ,after I was done talking to her because she wasn’t useful , I went to sit down and waiting for the supervisor to come and speak to me for the miss scehuling a disable person came very nice and sweet and her mother went to the other receptionist and was very rude that she started to speak very loudly like gurl ,I think she can hear you and over all still waiting for the supervisor to get here. It’s very diappointing because this was my first time coming here and this is the result I got ,very disappointed on the fact that the employees have no motivation to be here and the supervisor is no where to be found .

Dr Trucvy Le saw me on a Zoom virtual visit through MyChart. She listened well and advised me on several medical issues I am facing. She gave me several referrals and this was to follow up. She is a great Doctor and I recommend her.

Dr. Tan and her staff are personable. They always go the extra to make you feel comfortable! Thank You!

He is very patient, Dr. Simon takes his time to explain what I need to know throughly. I been improving my health under his care. I'm very thankful.
