My mom, a 90 year old great grandmother, who would still be an elementary school librarian if not for severe mobility issues and walking difficulties, entered this death trap in 2017 after repeated devastating falls at home. After 4 1/2 years of never being sick, even contracting Covid and having antibodies but no symptoms, she suddenly became sick at the end of august of 2021, and although repeated attempts by her to tell them she was sick, sweating through her nightgowns, severe nausea, back and stomach pain, she was ignored. They gave her Tums and a pill for reflux! I even told the facility director, John Graif on 9-6 in person outside the facility, that she was sick....and that she never gets sick, and he replied ”okay, I’ll check on her” but he never did! She laid there, getting sicker everyday but was ignored! On 9-8 they called and said she was nearly unresponsive and very lethargic and asked me if I wanted her to just lay there and die or take her to the ER, which I demanded because she’d been sick for well over a week. When she got to the ER, it was revealed she was severely dehydrated from the profuse sweating and had a severe urinary tract infection. The hospital did all they could but she died on 9-10 from an infection that engulfed her entire body, even her brain! The facility from director to nurses ignored my mom , they ignored me, and then have lied and kept shoddy records and even concealed pertinent medical records! If you plan on putting a loved one in this facility, plan on making funeral arrangements because their death is imminent!

If you want your loved one to have a new nurse who cannot say anything about her progress or why they’re better or worse, bring your loved one here. If you want to have to be on them to tell you the information about your loved one and their medications after the first month, then bring your person here. They’re great-ish the first month. Then, no info, they’re just pushing pills and not trying to get the person out of here. I’m VERY disappointed. That being said they’re not overmedicating my loved one like the one in Long Beach that was rated as one of the 50 best on US News & world report, so there IS that. On the sad side, people with dementia scream because apparently there’s a thing in dementia that causes that. At the Long Beach place, no screaming happened & the nurses etc acted like popular kids in school. Here, they act like the deer in the headlights introvert who didn’t do the homework. “This is my first time with them, so I don’t know” about anything that I ask…. Then they say they’ll look it up, but most questions are “I don’t know” or “I can’t say.” 🤦‍♀️ The state of elder care is PATHETIC in this area!!! If you know of a better one or some way I can get her out of her with the Medicare or Medical to pay for it, Please message me!!!

from the outside this place really nice and professional, but weekends when the admin people are not there, the real story unfolds, Since the main admin, who I left a message, Mr John, doesn’t even have decency to get back, but you hear talk to the hospital, that called, He should have made them, aware, that the like most of places in U.S, this place does false advertising, the only person who gets great reviews is Z. the residential relations person. aSo much for the reputation . Found myself having to go back to facility due to another fall. I am glad to be able to come back to Anaheim Healthcare where I've been before and had a good experience. I would like to give a big "Thank you" Maria Lopez my CNA who has been very helpful to me. She shows that she's very caring and compassionate towards me and other patients. I would also like to thank Z in resident relations who is extremely helpful. Thank you to all the staff that has help me along my recovery journey. God Bless!

Anaheim Healthcare Center is very cleaned. My dad is Vinh Le, he had been there about 6 months. My family is so appreciative of the staff at station 4, medicines nurses: specially Emily, Aldar, wound care nurses: specially Brenda, Harrison, CNAs: specially Loreni, Lulu, Nidiar, Kevin, PTs, OTs, Speech T, and administrative team for helping, kindness, caring and amazing to my dad. I deeply appreciate the caring service provided to my sister during her three-week stay! Patrick was so very kind during the intake process. Z was the absolute kindest professional -facilitating face-to-face communication so that I could actually see my sister and let her know that she was being supported by family as well as the medical team! Nurse Karen took extra time to learn more about my sister and her needs! The Director of Social Services was accommodating and very understanding when it came to the process of discharging my sister back to her home facility. A huge heart-felt thank you to everyone at Anaheim Healthcare Center!

Emergency and ICU phenomenal. Wards okay but sometimes you have to ask more than once for something and very slow to answer summons. Overall care very good and doctors take time to explain treatment and procedures needed for care. My overall experience was good. Call it a 3 1/2 star rating.

I had an accident three months ago due to some paramedics who accidently dropped me and caused severe damage to my right leg and hip. I was then sent to two different hospitals before arriving to Anaheim Healthcare Center. My first experience here was great! Everyone was helpful and very welcoming. I would like to thank both of my favorite CNA's Luisa & Humberto. They were always helpful and never changed their way of being with me. I will truly miss them. Thank you to the very helpful, encouraging and loving resident relations, Zuyin Barrera. She helped me with a number of different request that I am absolutely grateful for. I have gained a new friend, thank you Z. I would definitely recommend this facility to any of my friends and family.

Excellent facility for the care of a loved one or short recovery following a hospital stay. The rehab staff are outstanding, and the nurses genuinely care about their patients.

This facility gave us above and beyond expectations. All the staff in the business office and social services went out of their way to help us. Everyone treated us with kindness. GiL Lopez April 2023 patient, I came with the need for expensive and powerful IV antibiotics through a IV Pic line. Truly a World class staff, very passionate was case mgr Sylvia, Ann, V and Monica Jimenez. Amazing kindness from wound care Brenda, Jaquline and kind and down to earth nurse Manny and Jack. I was treated like royalty and the food was superb. I did have a negative experience from CNA Maria morning shift, who comes from Mexico, she refused to speak English, shame on her ignorance not to embrace our wonderful country's language. I can’t forget the amazing cna Martha who always made sure my needs were met and I was comfortable. They deal with such stressful situations but maintain kindness and professionalism. I’m glad they received me when 10 other nurse care facilities refused my stay because my Antibiotics were very expensive and Anaheim Healthecare Center on 501 Beach blvd., Anaheim Ca, took the challenging cost and service for my care. I recommend them to all needing nursing care.

This place really helped me out. When I came here I couldn't walk, talk, eat, etc from a stroke and now I can do all of that. I appreciate everything that my CNA Maria Lopez did for me. Thank you to my CNA Kevin. Emily my LVM as well as my head nurses and social service. Thank you for the support staff and the meals aren't bad.

I’ve had my loved one here at Anaheim Health care and since I’ve meet “Z” Zuyin it’s been a pleasant experience and always showing compassion to the patients and joy as a receptionist. Always willing to help others. I thank Z for the great customers service when entering the facility. She is a gem!

I've been here for nearly 7months and I want to thank the rehab dept, cnas and staff in general. Special thanks to Z in resident relations for always helping us out. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.

I have been extremely happy with my brother’s care at this facility. More specifically, the outstanding and professional care that has been provided by Z. Without her daily assistance in providing a phone to my brother, I would not be able to talk with him and offer my support. Z has also been instrumental in ascertaining that my brother received the packages I have sent to him. Finally, her words of encouragement and kind and caring manner, have helped my brother in his recovery. Thank you, Z!
