I was asked my phone number at the gate by the security officer, and told to wait in my car until they give me a call. I did what I was told, sitting in my car in a cold weather for almost two hours no one has called me, so I walked back to the security officer and asked him why they are not calling me, he radioed them, gave my phone number again and told me to go back to my car and wait for the call. I went back and waited until I see them turning off the building lights. I walked back again to the security officer, this time it was a different officer and she was startled to see me, I told her what I was doing there and she told the person on the other side of the radio that there is a patient waiting for their call. I clearly heard him say” tell him to come back tomorrow “ . I was sick, cold and even sicker than I was before I went there seeking help. They usually work until 9pm but on 12/14/21 they decided to close at 6 pm while a patient is waiting outside in the cold. The security officer was very helpful she apologized for them but What I went through was unforgivable.

Yes you can rate this urgent care center-The doctors are either emotionally drained or they plainly lack compassion. Might even have to do with the type of insurance one has. There was an elitist attitude of annoyance when I was seen by Dr. Nguyen from the very first moment he stepped into the room. I had genuine concerns and instead of addressing them he would roll his eyes bothered. At the end his demeanor finally changed after I made intense eye contact while asking questions.. why do they even work here if they don’t care to treat us like people? Money? Most likely… sad.

My daughter has seen the same physician for her entire life. I have never NEVER had issues like we have recently. I have been trying to get a FOLLOW UP appointment for weeks to get my daughter a timely appointment at ANY altamed clinic because she has indication of en ear infection and they WILL not schedule me a follow up appointment. I had to take her BACK to urgent care. What the point of paying for insurance then paying this clinic that doesn't even care about your health?Her doctors office didn't even respond to my messages for the first time in SEVEN years. It's sad that I am considering going to another xclinic or physician for her because I like the doctor she has now but service is also a big factor.

I DON’T RECOMMEND GOING HERE. They truly show that they do not care about their patients. Doctors & nurses are unprofessional & don’t know what they’re doing. Horrible service. Please do not go.

AltaMed is by far the worst health network that I’ve had the luck of having. Today I went in to the urgent care to get checked for my cough. I was prescribed medicine to my preferred pharmacy. Which is external. I’ve now been waiting in line for over an hour. Come to find out that they did/have not sent in my prescription. So here I am, sick , with no medicine , and an hour of my life and has gone by and I have wasted my gas. This ‘provider’ needs a serious audit by the government because they are providing a disservice by being so inadequate, incompetent and having low standards in medical practice. Why ask what pharmacy I’d like my prescription sent to ? If you cannot connect the dots. Waste of time. Save yourself the hassle, exposure to COVID & headache of dealing with such a POS “healthcare provider”. The infrastructure needs serious improvement. No wonder they have such a high turnover rate.

I went to the emergency room 3 times, and the doctors are very despotic.

Urgent care wait time is about two or three hour wait. Front desk ladies are really rude for urgent care. Security is very nice and actually cares about patients.

I was here at 11am this morning. I actually found the facility to be very nice. The ladies at the counter were very nice and checked me in. They did tell me that they only had 1 provider that day and that the wait would be up to 2 hours. I didn’t have an appointment. They said I could wait in my car, which I wanted to do so I could be comfortable and charge my phone. They even called me to let me know when the doctor was ready to see me. It only ended up being an hour. I was seen and out the door in under an hour and a half. Plus AltaMed has a great app that keeps all your records up to date. I think this is a great place!

Extremely rude staff and security, said they had availability 5 mins before getting there and then said they were full and had been full all day. Waste of time

19 years with them, excellent service from the doctors and nurses with incredible changes, especially in the staff, applause for that, congratulations

It is my first time going to this place, I really recommend it, the nurses and doctors at the reception are very friendly, a very quiet place, the way they are organized very well, they answer any question you want to know, they do their job as much as possible. Fast and best as possible, Dr. Yonnie Jo, excellent people, thank you for the trust that everyone gives you, so that you feel at home.

I’m sorry so many people have had bad experiences. We have had great experiences with staff and doctors! Unfortunately we have been there often, my toddlers have caught everything but luckily this urgent care has been friendly and easy in and out

The truth is that the care is very bad, you are very sick and you feel bad. If you go to the doctor it is because you don't feel bad, you don't want to go and look at the clinic. I felt terrible, they gave me a medication that wasn't helping me. They give pills, they never give other professional medications that help the patient and then I felt terrible and then I called and they gave me a medical appointment over the phone and you know what that doctor who gave me over the phone at that medical appointment only gave me Robitussin and pills that can be bought without a doctor's prescription, that's what he prescribed for me. They are pills that can be bought without a doctor's prescription, so what's the point of having an appointment with a doctor with them in the clinic if they're going to prescribe it to you, they're going to giving one medicine that one can buy without a prescription, it is not worth playing like that with a patient's health, if one puts oneself in their hands, it is because they are professionals. They studied for that to save lives, not because they are not interested in the life of the patient. patient, that's why I'm telling you, I had that very bad experience with that clinic, I don't recommend it at all.
